Thank you and thanks for watching
Thank you for making this video!🙏 I almost convinced myself that I needed new cv axles or bearings😅
Exactly what mine sounds like. Time for new tires. Thank you 🙏
Man I swear this video confirmed EXACTLY what I was thinking was going on in my car...thankfully I'm canceling the appointment to have the hub and bearing changed
Haha excellent, I hope you get it resolved
Absolutely right
wow, you talked about a lot in very details, right to my thinkings and guesses...
I appreciate this video. Too many videos can come off deceitful causing you to get a new wheel bearing.
Thank you brother for this wonderful video I really appreciate it 👍🏻👍🏻
I’m happy it helped
Thank you . I’m confident it’s my tyres rather than the wheel bearings 😊
same :)
Thanks for the video
That's the noise I was looking for thanks guy
No problem!
Thanks man👋🏻
Just coming from your wheel bearing video and I can 100% agree with your conclusion on this one. Bad tire for sure! The sound is different as well from a bearing. It has a roar at low speeds....you are correct! I hate that some tire shops can't get this correct, especially when you consider that wheel bearings are expensive on most vehicles, like really expensive now! Upvoted.
Thanks man! I appreciate it
My tire just started this sound, it's kinda quiet really, but I can faintly hear it. Not a wheel bearing noise. So the tire needs to be replaced I guess.... 😞?
Thank you so much for this! It's a hard noise to hear through video but your explanation + what I CAN hear makes me confident that this is my issue. Thanks again!
I appreciate that, glad it was helpful!
My truck does the same sound thanks ill check my tires good.
THIS IS DEFINITELY MY ISSUE. I NEED TO GET ALIGNED FOR SURE BUT THANK YOU FOR ALLEVIATING MY CONCERN
Subbed!!
very good video thank you
I appreciate that
Thanks a lot, now I know whats problem 😂😂
That's my problem; sounds exactly the same. Thanks.
if I don't change the tire that makes the noise, what can I do to improve? As I have new tires and let them sit for couple of months lacking air...can filling more air help? or low pressure with air will help? switch the deformed tires to the back? the tires will wear to get better? thanks...these questions are for everybody to answer...
Thanks. 14y old tyres, was suspecting them..
This is bad tires. I had the same noise coming from my bmw x1 and thought it was a bad bearing. I got it checked and found that there were little bumps in the rear right tire causing this noise.
Do you kind of "feel" the noise in the floor board when it's the tires? Mine has a "feeling" when decelerating as well as a very low rumble. Almost like brake rotors, but mine are new.
so is this just the noise these tires make or was there an issue? my rear GTI tires been making the same noise, got an alignment and changed the rotors and still there
I just bought 4 tyres and wheel alignment after that' ,took my car home and that sounds exactly the same sounds i wonder if they do my tyres balance??
Same here on my C7.5 competition
Mine sounds a bit like this. It's getting 2 new tyres today so fingers crossed this fixes it
So is this a bad tire noise? I have this issue with my car and at high speeds it goes from high to low kinda noise. Almost like a humming.
Could this be an alignment issue? I have this noise on an F25 but it’s not as loud. My tires are still good I’m assuming
You think old tire could make the same noise? I just replace two front with new but the rear are 6 years old but have about 70% tread. Just cant tet rid of the noise.
This is my issue here. I have two new tires on the front and older but good looking tires on the back….my roar has seem to have gotten louder.
I got new tyres and new wheel bearings.. still sounds like this... what should i check next?
This is whay my tires sounds like but mine is newly changed and the tire itself is in good condition, can help me how to resolve it?
Hi, I’m quite confident my excess noise is caused by my newer all terrain tires. I recently bought a 2012 Silverado and it had very new all terrain tires when I bought it… my only concern is they are quite at highway speeds and loud between 25-35mph when driving through town… the tires have maybe 1000 miles on them and the noise hasn’t gotten any worse or better since I bought it 2 weeks ago… I only really notice the noise from the front tires, I think it gets louder as i decelerate, and the noise doesn’t really change when swerving back and forth… it just concerns me how loud it is between 25-35mph
To me that sounds like it has to be noisy tires
I have exact noise in my Audi A4. I am suspecting tires too. Thanks for the video. Is this called wobbling noise?
I’m not really sure what you would call that noise exactly, thanks for watching
So do the tires need replacing? My son's BMW sounds exactly like this.
Yeah that’s most likely what will need to happen, have the tire shop give you their opinion before replacing
I just came back from getting my wheel bearing fixed it makes the exact same noise as the car in the video after I got it fixed and the guy said it was the tires however he said the tires are still good and don’t need replacing that’s just the noise aggressive tires make, what do you recommend?
If it actually is the tires he is correct, noisy tires in themselves are more of a annoyance than a safety issue typically
@EuropeanAutoRepair Did you manage to fix it? Tire remounting? Wheel balancing? I bought completely new Michelin tires 2 days ago and I have similar symptoms. I need to go to a mechanic in my free time.
Hello how did u fix it please I have exactly bought michelin 2 new front wheels and have this crazy noise. Michelin primacy 4. Were ur wheels the problem?
Balance or replace tyres?
Alignment. Getting new tires will not solve the problem. Getting alignment will.
Once the damage has been done from the alignment being out of spec many times the tire noise will not subside when corrected. In that case alignment and tires are necessary, that’s why I always recommend a alignment check when new tires are being installed, many times saves money in the long run
Our 2012 G37 we recently bought with 82k on it makes some decent noise as it's driven. Michelin tires, two are from 2015, 2 from 2018. I've got 2 new tires on order to replace the 2015's and am hoping the noise is the tires. Jacked the car up and spun the front tires quite a bit, don't think a wheel hub is the issue. Need to check the trans fluid, I'm concerned the trans could be the source of the noise, not the tires as the sound seems kinda mechanical to me...
Hmm I hope it’s just a tire issue
@@EuropeanAutoRepair No kidding!! I wish Infiniti had put in a dipstick so I could check the fluid level. That fluid level check is a pain, need a lift for it and the pump...
If it's bad tires, when you change to a different road surface, the sound will sound different, or go away? The noise won't go away if it's bearing's when you change road surfaces.
Yeah the road surface shouldn’t affect wheel bearing noise
Fuck this is the same noise with my car..
What did u do to fix it?
what did it end up being
Will there be a next video showing what's wrong with the tire(s) ?
That’s a good idea, I’ll do one this week showing what a noisy tire will typically look like and give more info
Man....dammmm...this is my problem.
You know I got all.my bearings changed in last 2 months..
Now I am going to change the tyres and see if that resolves the issue or not.
How do you fix it???
New tires
Would you say it’s a pulsing hum??? I feel like I have this get louder at speed
Yeah that’s a good way to describe it
It's actually ridiculous that a BMW allows this kind of noise to come through the cabin. You would say that the rubbers, springs and shocks should absorb this noise. Could the tire be cupped or have a bent rim?
So what would be the issue if you have this exact scenario?
Likely need to replace tires and have alignment checked to check to potential cause of poor tire wear patterns
Is it like a whirring sound, that sounds like it gets faster as the car accelerates?
Typical I wouldn’t consider it a whirling sound
Is the noise also possible to feel while driving like a small wiggle? Cuz my car does that noise, very loudly in a high speed as I thought I was being chased by a helicopter 😂
But it is super steady even at 100kph (60mph) only like at 120-130 it starts to kinda shake a bit but might be normal
Haha if it’s bad enough you could feel a little something if it has a shifted belt it can be a very large vibration, lol I’ve never heard being chased by a helicopters that’s pretty good, definitely tire
Same sound in my carr
Is it the run flats or bad tires? My car makes that thumping sound at low speeds
Sounds like bad tires, that could be bad run flats as well
Just bought the Stang 17k miles on original tires. It's a run flat type. 30mph start hearing the whomp whomp sound. When braking to slow down, you can hear it better. Tire looks like alignment issue so I'll do the cheapest way first. I do have bumper to bumper warranty but not sure if it'll cover wheel bearing.
@@liarliar1408 hope that takes care of it for you, sounds like the right idea
What do you recommend if its the tire noise? Tire doesn't look that bad, some wear. New tire? I noticed my gas milage is down compare to what I'm use to getting on that. Is that normal due to tire noise?
The tire noise in itself shouldn’t influence fuel efficiency, usually replacing the tires or dealing with the noise are the options, you can try rotating them but it likely won’t help much
So what was it? Cheap tires or just went bad? You don't have to buy the best of the best, but you have to consider that the tires are the only thing touching the road, so a good grippy tire can save you from an accident when you have to steer or break during an emergency.
Several things can cause it, alignment issues, suspension problems or sometimes just bad tires
Mine sounded a lot like the video and I thought it was bad tires, but it ended up being warped front brake rotors.
thens whats probably the problem in that and solition because some of the viewers may experience that kind of sound and so they may know what exactly the problem
So how do you fix it? Just replace the tire that's making noise?
Yeah usually replace tires and have alignment checked
@@EuropeanAutoRepair thanks 🙏🏽
How long can you drive like this, 1 week 2 weeks ??
Noisy tires on their own assuming the cause is just uneven tread wear isn’t much of a safety concern, more of a annoyance
22% of new tires are bad. Firestone told me it was the diiferential and I told them it started when I bought a new set of tires. My mechanic says...it's the tires
I thought this was my issue as well. Starts immediately when accelerating and makes that "winding up" "helicopter" noise as it accelerates/decelerates. I got new tires.....same noise. Im lost lol
(needed the new tires badly anyway)
Following
I would check your cv joints on axles. See if you have any torn cv boots or aftermarket axles
My new tires just started doing this…… I’m told it’s normal. Hopefully that’s the case
if they are so new i recommend to claim warranty and get them replaced
@@nicolinbogdan9615 it actually went away after about 50 miles. I’ve just never ever experienced that before w new tires…. Guess now I know. Spooked me out a little at first though.
God i hope it's uneven tire wear from my worn steering rack... I just spent oer 700 dollars last year for all new loaded front knuckles and hubs.
So what was the issue with that car?
Bad tires
This is what my car is doing now but I have new tires! I took it to the shop and they said nothing is wrong 🤦🏽♀️
Sorry that’s annoying, did the noise start when the tires were replaced?
Sounds more like drive shaft resonanting noise
Maybe the mic on my cell didn’t pick up the noise too well
@@EuropeanAutoRepair Actually it did. My car has the same noise its just as the video sounds. I had an Acura MDX that made the same noise. Turns out it was bad alignment in the tires caused the tires to wear unevenly.
Will that noise go away eventually
Typically it only gets worse
@@EuropeanAutoRepair the problem was bad tires?
BMW? Runflat tyres right? They are super noisey.
I got a bmw 3 weeks ago and it has runflat tires and it feels like they are bumpy now like there is a flat spot when i drive
Cupped tires
Why do people post videos where you really have to listen in to the noise, and they talk all over top of it. Talk before the test drive smh. This video is of no help because you're talking overtop of all the noise lol
Yeah I agree
This video helped me alot
You have cupped tires. When was the last time you had tire rotation or alignment?
Was pretty adequate for me
This helped me a lot. Picky picky😂
Thats what you get for buying junk
It would help if u didn’t talk 🤦🏽♀️
Hahah sorry, looking back I agree lol
Lol mess up some tires so you can re make the video now 💀
Hahaha the tires on my gti are starting to get noisy anyway lol
I have the same noise in my BMW X1. So, in the end, could you fix it by just changing the tyres? Thanks for your answer.
Typically changing the tires and a alignment check is also a good idea, just to verify an alignment issue isn’t causing the abnormal wear
My car makes the same noise. We did tire balance and the noise is still the same. I’m gonna charge the tires and hope that solves it, they’re pretty expensive 🥲
Hope it takes care of it
@@EuropeanAutoRepair yesterday I changed the tires and the noise is gone.
😇😇
@@MG-er3co did you get standard or run flat?
