My mk4 tdi automatic sounds super loud at idle, bit the sound goes away at around 2k rpm please help
i have 2008 328i with the n51 engine, i recently changed my fuel pump because of the crank no start problem and my car turned on for about 35 minutes before it gave out again ( i did smell a burning smell but i couldn't pin point it). I checked the fuel pressure and I wasn't getting anything in the fuel rail again. I figured its probably the fuel module. I have an extra fuel module from a 335, and my question is would i be able to program it using ncs expert? i cant seem to find any guides.
I don’t have any experience with ncs personally, I’ve programmed them successfully with a autel branded scan tool as well as autologic,

How did you remove filter housing? What size socket?
I hear slight squeaks when going over bumps. I changed the stabilizer joints and it’s still there could it possibly be the control arm bushing?
It could be bushing on control arms or sway bar bushings assuming you don’t have a ball joint issue and struts are in good condition
Could it present as a cold start issue?
It’s possible but usually not the case from what I’ve seen

Ok so pulling it out isn’t too bad but putting it back in sucks! Unless you remove the right hand side glove box screw which is closest to the passenger door frame. It will allow it to be pulled back far enough to get the motor in place. Otherwise there just isn’t enough room

on my 2013 audi tt top this trick worked like a charm -- needed to do it about three times about 5x slaps each time after that i wd 40 ed the mechanics of the flaps and worked ever since thanks for the info

I've had the new revised one on my car since I bought it.. Every now and then I would get that code.. I decided to change the manifold and sensor.. Now the code comes up every time I drive... The car drives fine.. Twenty pounds of boost... No problem whatsoever Why does the Damn code keep coming up when i've changed everything... And there are no symptoms whatsoever... Just the annoying cel

I’m not 100% sure on that, on some of the newer ones the level sensor is integrated into the reservoir not sure on the gti off hand
Is there a way to test beyond visual inspection? I replaced mine about a year about with some RockAuto specials little over a year ago. One immediately leaked while installing it, but I eventually got the warranty replacement put in and called it good. I have rough idle that came on suddenly, but it's definitely worse in reverse like you mentioned. If I raise the engine a little with a support bar can I rule them out if there's still vibration?
I do that move sometimes from the bottom with a screw jack, that’s a good way to diagnose a mount issue
okay i got a question i’m currently use Mk7 Gti when i hit accelerate, i’ve heard this weird noise coming from the passenger side and also vibrate , is that the inner cv joint problem or there’s other problem?
Do you have a engine light on currently or is this just more of a noise and drivetrain vibration kind of thing?

I did everything I was supposed to and the manifold will not come off!
Sometimes the injector seals can hold them onto the head a little hard, if you are 100% it’s all off wiggle it back and forth a bit
Replaced the crank shaft sensor now my new water pump is not working. Coolant is not pumping at all. Codes: 2E84 & 2A94
The timing might be coincidence, did you replace the crank sensor for a no start condition

Do you know part number or name of the brackets that were broken on each side of the grill? I need them too...

I’ve got an Audi q5 2016, there is a clunking noise coming from the front left wheel only when braking but only when the temperature is high and I drive for extended periods time. So I don’t hear it when I first start driving but after a while then I hear it.
Thank you for the video. Regarding touque. The required torque is 4nm stage 1, and 60 deg stage 2. Regarding the use of a razor blade for cleaning, this is not recommended. Use only quality liquid gasket removers. For passenger side on a W166, remove three upper bulkheads to remove the intake manifold. I posted a video for the bulkheads because there are NO instructions out there.

@@EuropeanAutoRepair A little update. The front cover to head is 5nm in one stage. The torque above is for the cam adj mag to cover.
PSS! Always clean the threads with a cleaning/chasing tool.

I have Hyundai Tucson 2015. In the morning, I cold start the car, little shaking, but then it goes away. There is a little smell of fuel just like the VW your working on. Properly my car is doing the same. I have not replaced the spark plugs, they are old anyways.

My dad said he bought a cheaper clutch 1 or 2 years ago and now we are experiencing difficulties in shifting gears ( from neutral to first gear when the engine is on) and we really need help
And the OE systems last like forever in my experience so it seems to me that guys who buy this stuff are actually borrowing trouble. Just my take :- )
