PlayWood & Goliath CNC | Kids furniture

We just created a fresh new project with Goliath! How cute is it?
These little pieces of furniture are cut and engraved and then assembled with a splash of color, thanks to the special connectors from Playwood 🎨 an Italian company who invented these plastic components to build almost everything with wood panels!
💡 The same piece can be a chair or a small table, and all pieces are stackable to turn them into an overly nice bookshelf!
This project was made for a kindergarten in Milan. 🐒 The kids are nuts about them, loving the animals engraved on the sides!

🔨 How we made it 🔨
- Material: Poplar plywood 15 mm
- Bit: 6mm, 1 cutting edge
- Feedrate: 1800 for cuts, 1200 for engravings
- Depth per pass: 5
- Router speed: 3
- Timing: 40min per piece, 2.40 hours for the full project

Hello Ki, this version of Goliath can only cut thin aluminum layers, but we've planned for the future, new versions of the robot which will be able to work also other kind metals :)
