I received mine for my 1911. It took six weeks to arrive, so don’t be in a hurry. It is custom made for each order, including magazine pouch. I had it adjusted to fit within 15 minutes and fine tuned one strap after wearing for 30 minutes. Very comfortable, a little pressure on my trapezoids, but i have become used to it. Very little break in to accommodate the pistol. In fact, i kinda like the snug hold on the weapon even when unstrapped and rotated forward. It feels very secure when riding my HD. High quality materials.
One point should be made, retrieving a mag from the pouch is not fast, even with practice. So there is a trade off there.

Hey Mike! Thank you for another awesome review and I really mean it! :) I'm glad you went through all the trouble breaking-into your new holster and that you managed to make it fit, very glad to see you can use the holster even beyond the review! Great stuff and thank you again! Regards, Al

I just ordered my roto holster for my M9A3, and this video answered all the questions I had. Awesome video.

I ordered one for my A3 last night. I have one for a Sig M17 and it is such a nice piece of leather.

Thanks for this video. I've been wanting something to carry my 1911 when it gets cooler outside.

Got one in for my 1911 in the Fall of 2023. I really wanted to like this holster but can not. I'm 6' tall and a fit 170 pounds and this holster just doesn't fit me. I had wanted a shoulder holster that could give me a vertical carry at my side but this carries just above a cross-draw holster - which can be had for a lot less money. I've shortened the adjustments as far as they will go and the holster still hangs loose and at my waist, and the straps want to slide off my shoulders. It seems like the mfr sized these for larger bodies. As other reviewers have noted, the rear mag is hard to get at. I also just discovered a REAL problem with this holster. The "securing" snap on the holster does NOTHING to secure the pistol. My 1911 easily slides in and out of the holster, regardless if the strap is snapped or not. So... this holster is a big fail if you want your 1911 pistol to be secured.

I adjusted mine so the holster rests against my rib cage just above my 'love handle' and below my armpit. It tucks away nicely that way and even if my wife knows I'm carrying, she can't see anything printing.
Also, use a little Loctite or Permatex equivalent on the Chicago nuts, they want to back out in use.
Getting it to fit my Walther, I applied Everclear on the leather, wrapped my pistol with three plastic grocery bags and stuck it in there. After it dried, the fit was perfect!
Nice holster. and he is not exaggerating about the quality or their customer service.....

Great review. You covered all the practical information INCLUDING the break-in stuff, if needed. Thank you. I have two Falco holsters that are still perfect - got them in the early 1990's. Top quality.

Hope your pleased but the cocked and locked has no security for hammer/firing pin and the safety is not covered by holster Please be safe

Great review! Thanks for showing the break-in as well. I need several of these holsters for the different carry weapons I use. One recommendation I might make on those hot, humid days is a big, lightweight Luau shirt. I am a mildly gigantic fellow and a fair amount of my wardrobe consists of Hawaiian shirts that have patterns that draw the eye away from possible imprinting.

Hey thanks I appreciate the review. I have that exact holster coming in the mail here in about 20 days also for my brand new 1911 I just purchased. I figure if you own a 1911 you have to have a nice leather shoulder holster for it. Anything else would be sacrilegious right?

Some people refer to it as a firearm as opposed to a weapon. Regardless it was a revealing video.

Certainly not a quiet draw option. Don’t care for the tilting holster.
    Nice gun!
When demo the draw stroke your flagging your arm
