I've used many shoulder holsters over the years. They all need breaking in, and practice at drawing before you are smooth on the draw. Very comfortable way to carry, especially if you are seated or driving for long periods during the day. Like the Tilt feature very much!
Have many shoulder holstrers from many manufacturer's. For both pistols and revolvers. Like you I prefer a vertical shoulder holster. Although I really prefer a strong side OWB on the hip. Gets you the fastest draw. Shoulder holsters offer more concealibility for concealed carry. One holster that sucks is the Small of the Back holsters. SOTB holsters are just bad news. The Flashbang polymer holsters is great for women. It attatched to a connecting strap on a bra. There's so many great ways to carry a self defense firearm. There's no excuse.
I've been tossing around the idea of getting a shoulder holster. Like you, I think they are just cool looking. Back in my era, Miami Vice was the big thing. I always wanted to be like Crocket!! After watching your video, you sold me. I'm placing my order tonight. Your video & review was very honest. I like the no BS approach that you have. Honest, to the point and zero fluff. So I called the contact number and they called me from Europe this morning , I’m impressed ! So all I need now is to get my background check back on my 1911 full size combat Springfield ! I just bought a falco holster setup just like yours for my CZ 97B but with the open magazine tension holster. I bought it in black also. But I bought mine direct from falco holsters.

I have purchased 3 or 4 OWB holsters from Craft. They are top-notch. I am also thinking about purchasing one of their shoulder holsters. The 3-4 week wait is well worth it IMO. The quality is hard to beat.
I ordered one for my CZ P01. It's a great holster. The CZ P01 turned out to be a trash choice, but the holster is great even when carrying a gun that doesn't work.
@The Truth It's not trash, I was pissed and should take down the post. Mine just failed hard the 2nd time I went shooting. Standard ammo and the slide wouldn't fully return on 3 different brands of ammo. All factory, no mods. I got a bad one I guess. I paid $800 for it and expected quality. Nope.
Got one for my 1911 in the fall of 2023. I really wanted to like this holster but can not. I'm 6' tall and a fit 170 pounds and this holster just doesn't fit me. I had wanted a shoulder holster that could give me a vertical carry at my side but this hangs low at my waist. That being the case, I might as well get a cross-draw holster - for a lot less money. I've shortened the adjustments as far as they will go and the holster still hangs loose and low at my waist. It seems like the mfr sized these for larger bodies. As some reviewers have noted, the rear mag is hard to get at. I recently discovered a REAL problem with this holster. The "securing" snap on the holster does NOTHING. My 1911 easily slides in and out of the holster, regardless if the strap is snapped or not. So... the holster is a big fail if you want your 1911 to be absolutely secured.

Honestly I don't think it will be much of a problem. You will just need to unsnap the straps that hook the holster from the belt. Not ideal for sure, but would be the same process for men who need to use the restroom as well. Obviously you would have to do it everytime, but women who carry already have to do that with other traditional holsters already. At least with this one you don't have to look for a place to sit your gun and possibly forget it.
I received my Craft Holster Vertical Roto Holster for my carry S&W shield yesterday and wow very well crafted and love it. Takes awhile to receive the holster because thay hand make each and everyone, but very much worth the waiting period. Great customer service. Questions? the green plastic thing that came in the box. Do you have any idea what its used for?
Leather is definitely the way to go with this type of set up. Sorry you had to experience the trauma of nylon. It really is a hard learning experience.
Yes, but when carrying IWB it works perfectly. Was not designed for OWB. I'm guessing I forgot to mention that by your comment, but I still wear it almost every day and I always carry IWB except when working at the shooting range. Hope this helps it make more sense.

@AdventureCamping makes sense. I always carry openly, so I looked at it differently. I carry a full size 1911, so the weight on my side isn't the lightest. I make my leather belts for carry 16oz (¼") because of the "sag" that develops over time. I also reinforce the belt in between the two layers of leather. They are stiff, very well made, and I've never had anyone complain. That would be a gun belt though. Not everyone wears their's daily like me. I don't even visit family without my gun on my hip

Im wearing a shoulder rig for my 357 right now but ive definitely been eyeing one of these for my 1911s

If I remember correctly it's a chamber flag. I just throw them out, but some people use them.

It usually takes about a month to receive but does not require any assembly. You will love them both!
