Thank you! 1. I don't work with buttercream and never actually painted on buttercream) 2. I think it is some sort of misunderstanding, but why would someone use lead pencil? I use regular drawing pencil which is made out of graphite and cause no harm.
They are different. I have a video on my channel explaining that, but in general - rice paper made of rice starch and wafer paper made of potato starch, so they behave differently to moisture too

Depends on your recipe. Usually, it shouldn't be a problem, but if you are using crusting buttercream. you will need to use edible glue or water.
