It is basically the combination of wafer paper and some water to make it into a gummy & sticky texture. Hope this helps!

Hi Sandra, all the details are in this blogpost: winifredkristecake.com/blogs/articles/wafer-paper-leaves-and-vines-for-cake-decorating :) You may try using this. If it breaks when you use the veiner it means your wafer paper is too dry. Do you know what humidity level are you working in?

I think what you need might really be more practise to get the amount of liquid right. sounds like your environment is pretty dry, maybe you can try using just a little more liquid. Usually it takes a little practice to understand how much water to use. I went through that with all my students :) It is possible! Good luck! ~
