It honestly wasn't bad, I just wish it was Azrael as Arkham Knight and that would have been much better than what we got. Imagine if the Order of St Dumas teamed with the League of Assassins and they used the Secret Lazarus Pit (Arkham Knight DLC) to bring back Talia AND Jason Todd as Red Hood. That way we have a better tie in from Arkham City, while still being able to have basically the same Arkham Knight Story.

I'm glad the Arkham games were my first taste of Batman cause I didn't know who Jason was unlike you guys, and from me it ended up being a really cool surprise. I guess it's like your reaction the first time you learned Jason was still alive lol.

Something I love about his portrayal in this game is that his dialogue and body language ensures that anyone who has read the comics and is familiar with the character recognizes that it’s Jason Todd lol. The trash talk, the name calling, the quick wit, the angst, calling Batman “old man” (which Jason does very frequently in the comics), the badass strut he walks with, it’s all very true to Jason’s character in the comics, so it was fun as a comic fan to piece that together and be like “‘old man’? Yeah and despite what people say about this game. I still love Jason in it and hope to see more of him in the future within this universe. In fact I would love if they made 2 prequel games that take place after Origins and show Jason’s rise and fall as Robin Also yeah I had known there was more than 1 Robin before this game and had seen UTRH but I wasn’t completely versed in comics so it was a cool thing to really jumpstart my love for comics

I like how the Arkham Knight was introduced in this game: his dialogue here serves to show that he knows all the tactics of the Batman, and criticize the Batmobile all you would, but the coolest feature of this not-just-a-car is Batmobile Remote, which was cleverly used in this scene. It's also a feature which appeared in Tim Burton's Batman movie.

Everyone's first assumption was Jason Todd. But that was too obvious. No designer could seriously make a character look like Red Hood while saying it's a new character unless it was meant to mislead us. Plus, when the DLC was announced that you could play as Red Hood, that confirmed that Arkham Knight wasn't him. Why would they reveal their allegedly new and original character in a DLC? It only made sense that we would then have to piece together the clues and find something we missed. Any hint, any piece of dialogue, anything that would tell us who Arkham Knight could be. But no, it was Jason Todd...the most obvious character. Might as well introduce a mystery character and have him dressed as Damien Wayne and have us guess who it is.
the embarrassing part is that A he didn't figure it out despite his behavior and dialogue (as well as joker reminding him about Jason) and B despite having the money and the tech he did NOT unscramble the voice to find out who it was. So much for the world's greatest detective!

Everyone had probably already known it was Jason because of the hints when you need to save the Joker infected. If my dad hadn't told me who it was before I even got to that part, I wouldn't have figured out until I got to the part it reveals who Arkham Knight is
I wonder if it would have been more interesting if the Arkham Knight was Damian Wayne instead of Jason, I mean, to me, it would fit, almost. Damian gets angry at Batman for the death of his mother, hearing maybe a rumor that Batman killed Talia or got her killed. with Damian being trained with the league of assassins would explained his military experience and how he took over the militia, except the fact of learning to use their tech, but since he is the son of Bruce, he can learn. Put Red Hood as Damian's lieutenant so he can give the techniques and knowledge on how Batman fights and Deathstroke as......, well someone who can take command, maybe like a battle squad or something. Also to be clear that Damian would have no idea that Batman is his father and Red Hood would have the same story with Joker and wanting to kill Batman plus introducing Red Hood for the first time for Batman not to know who he is.
Ever since the announced the arkham knight I always assumed he would be the red hood who is Jason Todd. I didn't even know they where making a new character.
I kinda figured it was Jason because of "Old man" and the Joker scenes. But, I thought that was too obvious and maybe Rocksteady was swerving us. I even compared character bios and only 2 people had Arkham Knight's exact weight and height. Cash and Jason. Once I figured that Cash wouldn't make any sense at all as Arkham Knight it was pretty obvious that he was Jason all along.
Something really happened on my first play through beafore the Arkham knight could finish talking I accidentally activated the Batmobile and didn’t get to hear a word he said.
Seriously, the first two scenes with the Knight singlehandedly give away his secret identity. The dialogue and characterization made it so obvious it was embarassing. If you have even remote knowledge of the comics or watched the "Under the Red Hood" movie that was released in 2010, and did the character far better, this wasn't a surprise at all. Just a major disappointment.

What should happen was Rocksteady made one mistake, they made him whine and complain all the time. I love the fact that Jason Todd is the Arkham Knight... but in this game they should made him into a soldier, not a guy that keeps complaining and running away. This new persona should of been winter soldier type of character, quiet most of time, soldier that wants revenge BAD. And another thing I personally think Rocksteady dropping jason todd references not to surprise people of reveal but it was more of reveal to batman than the players. One more thing they miss story plot of Arkham knight, you might be asking why jason choose this persona, why called him Arkham Knight simple and I wished they could of put these missing story plots in there. Jason didnt survive the shot he was dead after tortured by joker in arkham for a year Ras al ghul or talia founds jason resurrected him in the pit. Instead of jason jumping out window like under the hood movie, jason joins ras al ghul, with all the money and resources ras built jason a suit and army, this set up weeks before Arkham city. And after ras and talia is dead, jason takes over, as replacement of ras he's leader of league of assassins he has his army he has full year planning his revenge on batman, and his allies but his primary objective is to kill Batman , no whinning, no complaining, no running away, less talking. They miss a golden opportunity.

Jason beats him Jason and Deathstroke leave in a chopper. also The Arkham Knight identity was given to Jason by Harley Quinn in Arkham Asylum. and Deathstroke is Arkham Knights sidekick. months later Jason is in a crowd watching Bruce Waynes press conference to shut Arkham City down. Jason also witnesses the Tyger Guards arrest Bruce and throw him in Arkham City. later Jason is wondering around Arkham City and sees Joker and Joker reconise Jason and tells Jason that he belongs him to him and Jason can't fulfil his destiny until ether Batman or Joker dies. joker lets Jason go and tells Jason make Batman never forget you, become a darker knight a brutal knight. and Jason go's to venusala to build an army with Deathstroke and by recruiting some of stranges Tyger guards. I would've written this more clearly but was in a rush.
Keenan Madison, I think the constant vocalisation made him more interesting because of the confidence. And, he knew exactly how to beat Batman. But, for a guy who could go up against Batman mentally & physically, he sure ran away a lot.

Yeah, the reveal was obvious, and many people saw it coming, but I think the people complaining are missing the point. Batman was in denial about Jason's death still and refused to believe anything other than that he was dead, so of course he didn't figure it out as quickly as the players. The Arkham Knight into Red Hood transition was brilliant and really fleshed out Jason's character well, especially if you research it and see that Jason wasn't a boss or playable character in any of the other Batman games, but he was in all of them except Origins. During Arkham Asylum, he escaped Joker's prison break and during Arkham City he was monitoring Protocol 10 and Batman's moves. In fact, if Catwoman hadn't pulled Bruce from the rubble, it was revealed the Jason would have done it, because he wanted to be the one to kill Batman, not Hugo Strange. The Arkham Knight was obvious, but a great and well fleshed out character, and people complaining need to realize that.
Talia Velazquez Just because Bruce and her slept together in Metropolis once doesn't mean she got pregnant with Damian. And even if she did Damian died in her womb when Joker killed her.

I honestly thought that that was where Rocksteady was going with it. Especially since the first three Batman Arkham Games had the League of Assassins in them working behind the scenes. Batman: Arkham Origins established that Shiva, an underling of Ra's Al Ghul, was a former fellow student of Bruce's under Marital Arts Master Kirigi and later was one of the assassins that was trying to kill Batman. Also, Shiva, in that game, went to Quincy Sharp and convinced him, under the direction of Ra's Al Ghul, to re-open Arkham Asylum after the game's events. In Batman: Arkham Asylum, Quincy Sharp is now Warden of Arkham Asylum and Hugo Strange is a Psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum and both are associates of Ra's Al Ghul. Also, Ra's Al Ghul's corpse was in the morgue at Arkham Asylum, but later disappears. In Batman: Arkham City, Ra's Al Ghul tries to enact his plan of Protocol 10 and exterminate all criminals in Gotham City and is revealed to be the mastermind of Arkham City and is also revealed as to being the main villain that was working with Hugo Strange and Quincy Sharp. It was also established that Talia Al Ghul and Bruce had been intimate before. In Batman: Arkham Knight, I figured that Damian Wayne would be the Arkham Knight and would come in and attempt to finish what his grandfather and mother started and attempt to use the rest of the League of Assassins to finally destroy Batman and Gotham City for good, while also attempting to get revenge for the deaths of Ra's Al Ghul and Talia Al Ghul in the previous game. I also thought that the Arkham Knight name would be a symbol/ callback/connection to the League of Assassins having history with Arkham Asylum and Arkham City and with them being present behind the scenes in Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Batman: Arkham City and that Damian would be acting like a knight on behalf of Arkham and attempting to right the wrongs done against his bloodline. But, nope, it turned out that the Arkham Knight was just Jason Todd and that he was just trying to get revenge for believing that Batman abandoned him and left him to die at the hands of the Joker and that the Arkham Knight name was just a reference to him being a prisoner of Joker's and being tortured at Arkham Asylum and him coming out and trying to right those wrongs of what happened to him at Arkham Asylum. While I didn't particularly have a problem with Jason Todd being the Arkham Knight, I think it would have been better for the story if it had been Damian Wayne. But, it did feel anti-climatic that Ra's Al Ghul was only in a side mission, where he's trying to find a cure for his upcoming death and is in a war with his other daughter, Nyssa, rather than having a part in the main story.

I wonder if it would have been more interesting if the Arkham Knight was Damian Wayne instead of Jason, I mean, to me, it would fit, almost. Damian gets angry at Batman for the death of his mother, hearing maybe a rumor that Batman killed Talia or got her killed. with Damian being trained with the league of assassins would explained his military experience and how he took over the militia, except the fact of learning to use their tech, but since he is the son of Bruce, he can learn. Put Red Hood as Damian's lieutenant so he can give the techniques and knowledge on how Batman fights and Deathstroke as......, well someone who can take command, maybe like a battle squad or something. Also to be clear that Damian would have no idea that Batman is his father and Red Hood would have the same story with Joker and wanting to kill Batman plus introducing Red Hood for the first time for Batman not to know who he is.

I kinda figured it was Jason because of "Old man" and the Joker scenes. But, I thought that was too obvious and maybe Rocksteady was swerving us. I even compared character bios and only 2 people had Arkham Knight's exact weight and height. Cash and Jason. Once I figured that Cash wouldn't make any sense at all as Arkham Knight it was pretty obvious that he was Jason all along.
Something really happened on my first play through beafore the Arkham knight could finish talking I accidentally activated the Batmobile and didn’t get to hear a word he said.

Seriously, the first two scenes with the Knight singlehandedly give away his secret identity. The dialogue and characterization made it so obvious it was embarassing. If you have even remote knowledge of the comics or watched the "Under the Red Hood" movie that was released in 2010, and did the character far better, this wasn't a surprise at all. Just a major disappointment.

What should happen was Rocksteady made one mistake, they made him whine and complain all the time. I love the fact that Jason Todd is the Arkham Knight... but in this game they should made him into a soldier, not a guy that keeps complaining and running away. This new persona should of been winter soldier type of character, quiet most of time, soldier that wants revenge BAD. And another thing I personally think Rocksteady dropping jason todd references not to surprise people of reveal but it was more of reveal to batman than the players. One more thing they miss story plot of Arkham knight, you might be asking why jason choose this persona, why called him Arkham Knight simple and I wished they could of put these missing story plots in there. Jason didnt survive the shot he was dead after tortured by joker in arkham for a year Ras al ghul or talia founds jason resurrected him in the pit. Instead of jason jumping out window like under the hood movie, jason joins ras al ghul, with all the money and resources ras built jason a suit and army, this set up weeks before Arkham city. And after ras and talia is dead, jason takes over, as replacement of ras he's leader of league of assassins he has his army he has full year planning his revenge on batman, and his allies but his primary objective is to kill Batman , no whinning, no complaining, no running away, less talking. They miss a golden opportunity.

Jason beats him Jason and Deathstroke leave in a chopper. also The Arkham Knight identity was given to Jason by Harley Quinn in Arkham Asylum. and Deathstroke is Arkham Knights sidekick. months later Jason is in a crowd watching Bruce Waynes press conference to shut Arkham City down. Jason also witnesses the Tyger Guards arrest Bruce and throw him in Arkham City. later Jason is wondering around Arkham City and sees Joker and Joker reconise
Jason and tells Jason that he belongs him to him and Jason can't fulfil his destiny until ether Batman or Joker dies. joker lets Jason go and tells Jason make Batman never forget you, become a darker knight a brutal knight. and Jason go's to venusala to build an army with Deathstroke and by recruiting some of stranges Tyger guards. I would've written this more clearly but was in a rush.
Keenan Madison, I think the constant vocalisation made him more interesting because of the confidence. And, he knew exactly how to beat Batman. But, for a guy who could go up against Batman mentally & physically, he sure ran away a lot.

Yeah, the reveal was obvious, and many people saw it coming, but I think the people complaining are missing the point. Batman was in denial about Jason's death still and refused to believe anything other than that he was dead, so of course he didn't figure it out as quickly as the players. The Arkham Knight into Red Hood transition was brilliant and really fleshed out Jason's character well, especially if you research it and see that Jason wasn't a boss or playable character in any of the other Batman games, but he was in all of them except Origins. During Arkham Asylum, he escaped Joker's prison break and during Arkham City he was monitoring Protocol 10 and Batman's moves. In fact, if Catwoman hadn't pulled Bruce from the rubble, it was revealed the Jason would have done it, because he wanted to be the one to kill Batman, not Hugo Strange. The Arkham Knight was obvious, but a great and well fleshed out character, and people complaining need to realize that.

Maybe, maybe not. Her body disappeared during the fight with Clayface, the Lazarus Pit was directly below Monarch Theater, and Ra's wife Sora found a way to reactivate the pits for more than one use, so I have strong reason to believe she's resurrected and alive somewhere.

Especially since the first three Batman Arkham Games had the League of Assassins in them working behind the scenes.
Batman: Arkham Origins established that Shiva, an underling of Ra's Al Ghul, was a former fellow student of Bruce's under Marital Arts Master Kirigi and later was one of the assassins that was trying to kill Batman. Also, Shiva, in that game, went to Quincy Sharp and convinced him, under the direction of Ra's Al Ghul, to re-open Arkham Asylum after the game's events.
In Batman: Arkham Asylum, Quincy Sharp is now Warden of Arkham Asylum and Hugo Strange is a Psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum and both are associates of Ra's Al Ghul. Also, Ra's Al Ghul's corpse was in the morgue at Arkham Asylum, but later disappears.
In Batman: Arkham City, Ra's Al Ghul tries to enact his plan of Protocol 10 and exterminate all criminals in Gotham City and is revealed to be the mastermind of Arkham City and is also revealed as to being the main villain that was working with Hugo Strange and Quincy Sharp. It was also established that Talia Al Ghul and Bruce had been intimate before.
In Batman: Arkham Knight, I figured that Damian Wayne would be the Arkham Knight and would come in and attempt to finish what his grandfather and mother started and attempt to use the rest of the League of Assassins to finally destroy Batman and Gotham City for good, while also attempting to get revenge for the deaths of Ra's Al Ghul and Talia Al Ghul in the previous game. I also thought that the Arkham Knight name would be a symbol/ callback/connection to the League of Assassins having history with Arkham Asylum and Arkham City and with them being present behind the scenes in Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Batman: Arkham City and that Damian would be acting like a knight on behalf of Arkham and attempting to right the wrongs done against his bloodline.
But, nope, it turned out that the Arkham Knight was just Jason Todd and that he was just trying to get revenge for believing that Batman abandoned him and left him to die at the hands of the Joker and that the Arkham Knight name was just a reference to him being a prisoner of Joker's and being tortured at Arkham Asylum and him coming out and trying to right those wrongs of what happened to him at Arkham Asylum.
While I didn't particularly have a problem with Jason Todd being the Arkham Knight, I think it would have been better for the story if it had been Damian Wayne.
But, it did feel anti-climatic that Ra's Al Ghul was only in a side mission, where he's trying to find a cure for his upcoming death and is in a war with his other daughter, Nyssa, rather than having a part in the main story.
