  • Thanks guys for staying tune all the way in my journey of building 2JZ engine. And welcome to all new people who come over for the first time. 2JZ has been very popular of making power, but how reliable are they? Did the 2JZ engine swap on 2018 on this Nissan Silvia 180sx, dyno, countless practices, about 3-4 events annually, and what will be the result?
    After a year of hiatus, I am back for more, making more new videos, exploring new concepts, answering engine building questions, building a more successful drift program for 2023. =) Thank you so much for your support all this time and I will continue to make better content for you guys too. Great to hear its still going strong! I heard you can run vinegar in your coolant for a while to help get the rust out.

      Oh wow immediately u commented haha :) no sorry, vinegar will react with iron and aluminum and dissolve them.. so it's not recommended to use vinegar haha

      @Michael Chung Racing -Cars Explained I'm using an ecu master black, the previous tuner tuned my car too rich and I only got about an hour of run time before the oil washed out

    HI! very interesting and resorsefull video! I have a 94 toyota soarer with 2jz swap, repainting it right now. next i wanted to delete that sequential turbos and put a single, my question is do i need to program the engine ecu after that or not?

    • @cheapkailaujing
      @cheapkailaujing  Před rokem +1

      hmm if you are going for single turbo setup, which i believe the output of that single turbo is more than the original setup, you may need to upgrade injectors and therefore need an aftermarket ecu. so yes you need to program or tune the engine ecu. if your plan is not to have the aftermarket ecu then better stick to all original, turbo, injectors and ecu =D

    Your camera is making the 2j look like an rb. Everything is backwards lol

    • @cheapkailaujing
      @cheapkailaujing  Před rokem

      It all depends on your horsepower goal,what car you are swapping,ecu choices and so many more
