    Aunt Erica is the cool Aunt. Great that the nuggets are learning bushcraft, and how to safely handle pointy things.

    I'm sure you noticed after making this, one of the girls gets close to the triangle of death.
    Seems like a natural and ergonomic place to cut things, but it really is dangerous.

    • @ericasedc

      Yes. We are working on it!🥰

    • @rickrobinson8417

      What is the triangle of death?

    • @grumpyuncle.
      @grumpyuncle. Před 2 měsíci +2

      @@rickrobinson8417 I understand it to be when we are cutting material between our legs, near the plane of our inner thigh. The triangle is more of a "V" from our crotch out to the knees.
      Cutting accidents in this region can possibly get to our femoral artery, and lead to a very quick death.
      I am not sure if there are any other dangerous components to cutting in this area.
      Anyone can make the mistake.
      You can see in the video that the kids were taught to work low, near the ground. Actually, the girls did really good.

    The girls are having a good time with you.
    You should teach the girls some knife safety. Don't bring a hand towards one's face while holding an open or unsheathed blade, around 30-33 sec. into the video. They should be more careful with an open blade and tip near their legs while cutting and so on.

    • @ericasedc
      @ericasedc  Před 2 měsíci
