Thanks for the help and that added troubleshooting for locked games etc at the end. Was trying to find out why my games were locked for my GF's ps4, it was because my account had been deactivated on her PS4.

In the segment about both playing at the same time, you said they can play "online/offline it doesn't matter" then you said I could play (only mentioned) offline but then "access to online features". Can you clarify this, specifically this difference between, active/deactive and online/offline. If my account is not the "active" account on my PS4, do I still have access to play online?

Sometimes I run into an error where the account that has everything and is sharing it with another account closes the app randomly even though that account bought the game. An easy fix is to just restart the console but is there a way to just completely prevent this from happening?

So if the other ps4 didn’t deactivate before I did this. Even if I activate on mine it will not just be primary on both? The games I download don’t connect to psn
So, only one person (the account that activates the PlayStation as primary) needs to buy the PS+ subscription, and both can play online with their own profiles (the profile with the activated PlayStation, but with no subscription, and the profile with the subscription but using the deactivated PlayStation)?

what about when i log back into my account after sharing my games with a friend? am i all set to log in and just play or do i need to restore licenses
When I game share with a friend and the game downloads for him do I keep him as the primary? Or do I switch to mine
Ok so what setting primary PS4 does is allow the content on that ps account to be used by other accounts on that PS4 only including games and ps plus ps now ect
So in short answer yes keep your friend as the primary PS4

Ok got 2 Question :
Dad PS4 with PS+ have 3 account, dad, daughter and son. All work fine !
Daughter buy a PS4 witout PS+, daughter and dad share account.
Dad PS4 deactivated primary and daughter PS4 activated with dad as primary.

Does both PS4 are able to play online games that required PS+ (dad in is account on is PS4 and daughter in her account on her PS4) ?

1:12 If you are sharing with someone who has PS+ and they are also sharing with you then this isn't a problem. Every profile on the PlayStation that is activated as primary from a PS+ subscribed account will be able to play online, even if none of the other profiles have PS+.

After u game share on wich playstation do u pay the ps plus on for the next months and also buy new games so that both can enjoy that? On the one your account is activated on or the one thats not activated?
Both have to be active for both to access the others content
Only one account has to have ps plus but if you have a credit card or money on your PS4 it will automatically renew your ps plus when it runs out so in settings you can turn this off to save money by sharing ps plus

If your sharing a game from your own ps4 yo a different acc on the same ps4 then no, no download needed. But😐 if it’s from another console then yes you’ll need to download it
Well I still have my saved data if My family member game sharing with me? Or do I have to activate it back to my primary PS4

After downloading your friends game, if you remove ur friends account from your PS4 can you still play the downloaded game?
I've got a PSN Canada account, but I also buy some other games from overseas like from pkayasia, and would like to play them on my main account. Though once I created an downloaded the game, and switched back to the main account. I could not play them on the main account. Is there a way to fix this. Did I miss a step?

Coz i got a problm.
1st Console.
When i sign in with my real PSN acount (full of game),
i set as a primary, restore lisence and sign out.
Then i sign with another acount on the 1st console.
So the another acount can play any game on it.
I set "the another acount" as a primary, BUT with no sign out.
Until this step, all things works.
But the next is the weird one.
2nd Console
I repeat the first step.
I sign in with my real PSN acount (full of game),
But when wanna set as a primary, i cant make it.
The 2nd told that i have to deactivate the 1st.
Do i made a mistake?

I just did this with my friend and we didn’t check this I take it if my ps 4 is my friends accounts primary they can still access their games on their non primary ps 4 right?

i did this with a friend both shared eachothers psplus accounts, activated, and when we were both on(pslus account signed in while trying to game on a secondary account) it would just say 1 of us still needs to purchase ps plus....neither of us were trying to play on the psplus accounts we both had seperate secondary accounts while the psplus accounts were signed in and it wouldnt work

Ok so when this happens make sure you and your friend have primary PS4 on eachothers ps4s so for ex your friend will have your account as primary and you have your friends account as primary and remember every now and then to restore the licenses the servers arnt perfect and will mess up sometimes

The person you're sharing with has to use an alt account while your account is active. You can use your main account to play with them on your PS4.

His account needs to remain primary as long as you are using his games

"Cannot use the content
Only the following users who hold a license for this content can use it. If you want to use this content purchase it from the PlayStation store"
Then either a user was deactivated as primary or the licenses need to be restored
