    *Blessings to you, Sir, and your great mission to help restore health in such an upside down world we live in now.* Looking around, my guess is that insulin resistant levels are more like 2 out of 3 people these days. It's pretty shocking. And it's NOT just the US anymore. It's happening to every country and everyone who eats packaged, manufactured foods and almost all restaurant fare. The U.K is just as bad now too. Mexican food, fried foods, southern foods and Afro-American soul foods are all extremely high in toxic, often rancid, super processed seed oils. Chinese carry-out is loaded with seed oils AND sugar. You can not pick up anything in a box or bag that doesn't contain toxic canola, cottonseed, corn, peanut, sunflower or vegetable oil. Industrialized farm food has truly sunken to the lowest quality in history. Why can I eat bakery products (like breads and pastries) in France or Italy but not here? It's NOT just the better flour, healthy milk, butters and cultured raw cheeses in Europe... but they've banned Glyphosate! All commercial agriculture in the US uses a massive amount of chemicals-- from Pre-Emergent herbicides & pesticides-- all the way to the fake ripening sprays in the supermarkets. Today they are even finding Round-up (Glyphosate) traces in tissues of infants in the US. It's truly destroying people's health. I do believe a lot of the gluten illness and intolerance today is directly due to this nightmare chemical that has contaminated our agriculture.

      DROP THE MIC!!! WOW nobody says it better than you! In 2018 my oldest daughter and I went to Italy to visit my family and see the sights. She ate bread, pasta, and pastry every day and never had a problem with gluten. Here in the States, she's doubled over in pain with nausea, headaches, and vomiting with just a crumb of anything with gluten!

    I would like to see you do new videos on the evils of seed oils and HAMMER the anti-seed oil message to everyone. IMO it is even worse than sugar in our country and most people still have no awareness of it. If people just eliminated seed oils completely and did nothing else, they would see a huge difference in their health. Of course, it would mean not buying 80% of what is our supermarkets and NOT eating carry-out foods too. I'm leaning pretty far into Carnivore these days myself but that will change with warm weather and a garden. I think vegetable juicing and milk Kefir are also hugely helpful. Have you heard about all the buzz on Dr. Davis and the L. Reuteri cultured benefits? I just started making that. It is pretty incredible.

      @carolpaventi1285 I ALSO was not getting Notifications for a long time. I think a lot of people are not. Here is how I fixed it: 1. UNSUBSCRIBE. 2. CLOSE the browser. 3. REOPEN the browser. 4. Go to this channel and SUBSCRIBE again w/ ALL Notifications ON. This is one of the most sane, sensible and valuable health channels on CZcams so they shouldn't be shadow banning it anymore. Dr. Nick has lost thousands of views because of this.

    Chronically elevated insulin is not a cause of insulin resistance. This myth was caused by many people, and some from the low-carb community which I am a part of.
    Insulin, like every hormone we evolved, in not a disease generating mechanism, just like high cholesterol does not cause heart disease.
    Most people see that people who are metabolically sick have high insulin, so they assume the insulin is causing the insulin resistance.
    We know this is not the case because if you look at history and study societies that eat extremely high starch diets, like the population of the south Pacific island of Tukisenta, although their diet consists of 94.6 percent starch, yet they get zero diabetes, zero obesity and zero insulin resistance.
    If chronically high insulin caused insulin resistance and metabolic dysfunction, they would be sick.
    My research clearly shows that no societies ever get metabolic diseases in the absence of fructose consumption, REGARDLESS of how much starch or glucose they eat.
