@@NOOBNOOB007 I don't think the way the gun-buying process was portrayed was realistic. The last time I bought a gun, I had to bring ID and two utility bills to prove that I was living in Tennessee. Then the background check is processed. You can buy a rifle at 18 in some States, but you still have to pass a background check. Was Buddy 18? I don't remember. Also, an instant background check can take 15 minutes, or 3 days, it depends on the government software. Still, this is how Hollywood feels about guns, so I'm not surprised.

I loved your character and acting in Ozark. It was always enjoyable to watch the scenes you were in. Also, you were probably the most good-hearted person in the show.. a true friend indeed
Tuck is my favorite character for the show. He demonstrates loyalty, intelligence, and compassion! I have met Evan in person and he is just like Tuck, kind, compassionate, intelligent, motivational and inspirational! Great job Evan!!!! Love your work and hope to have you speak at our institution!
Ah yes, the high capacity bolt-pump ShottiSnipeTron 3000 with 200 round drum and 2x900 scope that fires in full semi-automatic. All for, what, $32. Only in Hollywood.
Tuck was such a genuinely good dude! I'm sad I didn't see my boy in S3. They better bring him back in S4. I bet he could help talk Jonah off the edge & they can become best buds
You're the best Evan! My uncle had down syndrome and he had passed away some years ago. Oh god I wish he were here to see you on the show - he wouldve been very proud to watch you. Keep up the hard work - you are one of my favourites on the show! Best of luck Evan!
Hey man I just finished season 3 of Ozark and I really really loved your acting in the show, a sweet and caring friend, and the best of all is that Tuck shows us that in this dark place of Ozark, there is still humanity, hope to see you in season 4 and more ❤️👍🏻
Shout out to all my fellow gun buyers who have actually been to a gun counter and made a purchase. I’m sure you spotted all the “anti-gun” buzzwords in this scene. It seemed to be written by inexperienced people with an agenda. Just like most others unfortunately. Not to mention it turned out to be full auto which would be illegal just hanging on the wall in the store! On and on, but that young man is a great actor! Kudos.
Yeah I just started to watch this show and I love it so far but unfortunately they have these anti gun seeming propaganda scenes. No gun store employee would EVER say "want a HIGH CAPACITY magazine with that too?" Also the scene made it seem like there are zero background checks, and like you stated the fact that it was a full auto when in reality full auto has been HIGHLY controlled since 1934. Tuck is also a felon now by federal law as he gave a minor a firearm.
@@mcchickenmcflurry3636 If you aernt a criminal and past the background check. Also down syndrome is I believe a national recognized mental illness so Tuck wouldn't be able to buy a gun in real life. Neither Ben because of his bipolar. So yeah. Not EVERYONE can get a gun unlike what this scene is trying to portray.
I ADORE Tuck so much, he's lovely, kind hearted, cares deeply for Rachel and she loves/cares for him, looks out for him, gives him gainful employment, Tuck makes me cry with laughter flirting with Ruth lol 😂
I knew it was you! Love your work man! The best part is Ruth asking you if you listen to rap music and you said "No, but I will start"!😎 Cooool reply dude
Your not allowed to assist in a 4473 if that firearm was ever used in a crime that FFL would be shut down and that guy would be sent to a federal prison, realistically he would have never sold it to him
Great acting and love your role.... But that gun buying scene bothered me...Can you walk in a store and walk out with a gun with no background check ? or wait period ?
No, it's not. Photo ID, fill out a 4473, they do a NICS check on you which is a national database of people who have committed crimes, depending on state there also might be a wait period. Also depending on state there's different restrictions on what guns you might buy or certifications you must have to buy one.
That gun scene was the thing that made me stop watching the show, there were a shit ton of things that upset me before that but that made me quit watching.
GTFO! Lol I love this show, like breaking bad. But this part annoyed me. The gun store clerks never help you correct your background form. EVER! My wife rushed her yes or no box questions on the form and failed. She had to wait a whole month before she could do it again to get the deer rifle she wanted. And they 100% do not let somebody that looks or acts mentally ill Even hold the damn gun 😂. I think this was a false attempt to show the Ozark watchers The writers political views or something negative, I don't know. And another thing, people haven't been able to buy machine guns at a store since the 30s! The gun he is using is a Ruger mini 14 a hunting rifle, not a machine gun. But hey you can do whatever you want with CGI LONG LIVE TUCK!
I thought this was a pretty funny scene. Just because I live in Washington state and I have seen this happen twice in two different stores. Someone rushes through and the clerk points it out and grabs a new form. One clerk I talked to says they usually stand right there to make sure they don't rush through the only box you want to say no on. I couldn't really care less just because all the legal stuff still falls on the person buying the gun.

Anybody who has actually been around guns and a gun store just had an aneurysm watching that scene
That scene was made by someone who's never purchased a gun before. And he'd never call it a "high-capacity magazine" that's just a standard magazine.

anybody else get the feeling that this scene is just mocking the state of Missouri's super lax gun laws?
Wait a minute. Did the actual actor who plays Tuck upload this? That is awesome 👌 Love ya man!

I never understood why there was a toy section in the same isle as a gun shop
Why did they take off the scene where tuck was buying the gun?
I watched it last night and the scene was still in there. Great acting but whoever wrote the scene was clueless about how a gun shop operates.
Tuck did good acting

bro, this is in georgia. I went to this store yesterday.

No. And there were _much_ worse lies being propagated in that scene...
Tuck was such a loveable character. Spoiler alert:
I loved watching him when he saw Rachel again in the final season.
So what kind of gun did he buy ?
That’s cause Tuck is cool
You can never be as cool as tuck drinking milk by the river 😎
