He also was holding her arm wrong. When teaching a kid to shoot, you hold on the hand side of the wrist. He held on the arm side of the wrist, thus letting the recoil move the gun to point at his head.
she was nine and you shouldn’t give a kid a gun at all
Personally I wouldn’t give a anyone under 16 a semi automatic with a muzzle that can move horizontally that fast. I don’t know what that instructor was thinking.

The dude at 6:20 is completely wrong. 2A was never about hunting. And that is exactly the kind of weapon that is needed for it’s purpose.
"The guns aren't dangerous, the people are"

No one should be able to use a gun before they can drive, and should take both a gun competency test (like a driving test) and a mental health test. @@w1lls872 ?? that has nothing to do with my point.
But like the guns are still dangerous like if a gun goes off by accident by like a trigger getting stuck and that bullet hits someone it’s not the fault of anyone it’s the fault of the weapon so therefore the gun is dangerous
Ok but tell me this, why we’re these guns manufactured? What were they made for? What was a rocket launcher made for? Sure guns can be safe but they are and always will be made to kill.

I was a farm kid who was taught how to respect and properly use handguns and rifles when I was six years old. Every young person in my area was taught the same. On my 12th birthday, I received a Browning 22 caliber semi-automatic rifle which I used for target practice and hunting with my friends. No one, not one person, I knew was ever negligent with a weapon or was injured in any way. Crime in our area was non-existent. I taught all four of my daughters how to respect and use handguns and rifles when they reached six years old and began taking them to the shooting range with my wife and myself thereafter. We had 4H, Boy Scouts and Girl Scout groups associated with our shooting range that had full shooting safety and shooting proficiency programs for young people starting at six years-old. In the 27 years I was a member of that range, not on young person was ever harmed in any way. Teaching children to respect weapons and use them proficiently prevents accidents and harm from their Improper use…it does not cause it.

Coming from rural America, it would be unconscionable to not teach your kids safe gun handling. They will, at some point, come in contact with a firearm if you like it or not. I, as a kid, was faced with the situation of a stupid kid with a gun (caused by equally stupid parents). I, along with 2 other responsibly raised kids were able to make the situation safer with our practical knowledge of firearms safety, by taking the gun, clearing it, making sure no stupid accidents would happen that night.
I was 10 years old when I first handled a firearm. A shotgun to be exact. And then I handled firearms again at 19, while I was in Navy boot camp, from then on. My only regret about handling firearms is that I wish I had the exposure to learn how to handle them safely at an earlier age.

That's a poor comparison...A misspelled word is very unlikely to take a person's life (as a matter of consequence of a single mistake made by the writer); whereas one single shooting mistake can cause a tremendous outcome for many peoples' lives...
@@rebeccariedel5070 you can use the same comparison about anything, a hammer doesn't hammer in nails, people do. A book doesn't read itself, a person reads a book. Guns are just objects, they don't create violence, people create it.
@@ObtainThePain I was referring to the outcomes of the different comparisons. The above-mentioned comparisons show that the consequences can differ a lot. The comparison between a hammer, a book, and a gun used as objectives by humans, is simply misleading.

If anything fails then Stage 1&2 wasn't done sufficiently. But yes, I agree that a Smith and Wesson M&P40 M2.0 is too much. Same as motorbikes you don't give a 1340cc Hayabusa to a kid.
You’re really right about that 1340 lol. Flipped mine over as a kid and got pinned under it. 😂
My 9 year Nephew lives with me. I have taught him the essential of gun safety, when he was 6. He has shot my guns, with my super vision, of course. He even has helped me clean them. One day, he asked me if he could get on my computer in my room.
I gave him permission and he went up stairs. He came down a few moments later and told me I had ammo on my desk, next to my computer. I was confused, since I always have my ammo locked away. So I went up, and here it was snap cap. I explained to him it was not a real bullet, and I praised him.
Since he did exactly what I told him to do, if he came across ammo or a gun to get an adult. It's not rocket science people. Teach children gun safety and to respect the weapon, and it will turn out fine.

I laughed harder than I should've at your comment OP
‘’They get hurt because they haven’t been taught.’’ FACTS!
1000000% true dat
Thank you
Grandfather gave me a .22lr single shot at 8. Remington targetmaster. Still have it, Marine Corps 11th award excellent, pistol excellent. It all seems so basic to me, common sense. A father, a grandfather, passes down knowledge.
I agree 1000000000000000000000000000000000000%
yesss!!!!
My Dad taught me to shoot a 22 rifle around 10 or 11. I also later got a marksmenship badge in Boyscouts I dont even know if the scouts have that anymore.
My dad taught me basic gun safety at the age of 3. He always told me to never touch a gun or walk in front of one. And he also taught me to NEVER aim a gun, loaded or unloaded, at something I didn’t intent to shoot.
Most people had to know there would not be anyone that against this actually in the gun store lol
I can't understand you but I want to
@@mugger_mist229 the people in the video stepping in, they had to think something was up because there would normally not be anyone in a gun store so against someone's child getting a gun

@@stitchyboi1206 😂😂😂
ok so just because we don't own guns we can't talk despite the fact the we know the can kill people we have examples of that, and suddenly we can't explain that.
A dude buying his son a bolt action 22. Thats literally the perfect gun for a 7 year old.
It's how I started at around 7
In America
I don’t understand Americans
@@finnrafferty4380 it's their culture to keep guns. They also feel that taking away guns is an infringement of their freedom. Not that hard to understand.
Rational Thinker that was some real rational thinking
"Why is it a tough weapon for a seven years old?"
"...it's an AK47..."
Something hilariously laconic about that exchange.
Also, not to be that guy, but isn't that an AKM?
I'm willing to bet most if not all of those "accidental" shootings mentioned were by kids who weren't taught proper gun safety and handling...both my wife and I were both shooting guns as Young or younger than this kid but we're taught proper gun safety.
"do you blame misspelt words on your pencil?"
God damn dude, well said.
Jonny Colón I do blame my pencil all the time, problem?
I don't, that's your provocative man.
Jonny Colón it is, the pencil exists
Guns are designed for the sole purpose of murder. Nothing else. Pencils are designed to write. False comparison.
Hang Out with Malorn He's stating that it's the operator, as opposed to the item in question, responsible for a particular outcome.
Next segment: so we brought out a nuclear bomb launcher to see if our response would be a little different.
Spoiler alert, it wasn't.

Was I not supposed to push the red one?

Ooof that didn’t go the way you planned it 😂😂
The girl:you’re too young to shoot guns
The boy: *so anyway i started blasting*
I love new kitchen gun!
The boys gun goes brrrrrrr
@Eli Donoso nah fam he needs an M60 for that
LOL
Mmmmm yes a gun is a necessity in my life and also necessity for my child mmmmm
Imagine being a burglar, and you are about to rob a house and a 7 year old notices and you just see him grab his bolt action rifle. I’d run for my life.
If ur in Texas or Mississippi that's a smart move bro😂😂

So true
@Country Deck Damn bro...Respect
Many children have stopped home invasions because they have been trained.
This video will hold the test of time. It really boils down to training and supervision. It's sad to see that guns are being blamed rather than mental health issues today for recent shootings.
I would tell the woman to mind her own business and I’m a responsible parent.
You can't get more American than people arguing about raising their kids with guns
Not saying it's bad or good, but anyone can raise their child however they want, as long as it isn't damaging to them. And also, I'm pretty sure americans already have enough shade thrown at them, so can we stop with the "americans are gun maniacs" stereotype ? -_-
i think its good to raise them around weapons, that way they're more likely to understand gun safety rules and all that, it really just takes a responsible parent to tell them the yes and nos
omg those americans under this video thinking that its right to rise childs with guns
@@giuliandicunto5059 but im brazilian and still think its the right thing to do
It's totally fucked up
“Guns are not dangerous people are dangerous.”

But the thing is, there are too many unstable people for guns to be allowed. Understandably guns are great for defending yourself against said unstable people but if there weren't any everyone would be better off
Tyler Legault do you really think that people who commit murder buy their guns legally
@@quinn9570 it doesn't matter if they buy them or not it's that they are allowed to have them
@@pascal1740 People arent allowed to have crack and heroin either yet its everywhere. Just saying if guns are outlawed then I am an outlaw
Tyler Legault Can you tell me where 1 meth shop is in the United States please because if we’re not legally aloud to buy guns then that means no one will have them, right?
The first gun my dad gave me was a 20 gauge pump action shotgun when I turned 10. Of course my dad put me in a gun safety course for kids before he bought it for me. Still have the shotgun today. :)
