Radhan is my favorite so far, definitely better than Rykard. Still have all of Mountaitop of Giants and Leyndell to explore though, and people been hyping up that Malenia woman quite a bit, so I got high hopes for the endgame, especially considering how staggering these boss fights already were.
@@c0mplex_Ale I think the last boss I beat was Morgott and I need to go up into the frost mountains now. I would do that, but I only have three days left until I ship out and I'd rather spend it with family even though I'll only be gone for 3 months minimum.

Man, the moonlight greatsword in this game is simply stunning (other than being really powerful). It being locked between one of the best quests in the game just makes it even better. This truly is the best version of the MGS to date (bloodborne being a REALLY close second) imo
I like it that it took its status as a "Parallel" or another version of Moonlight Greatsword rather than being too similar.
There is something really sweet about it...

It’s not that good
Nowhere near as good as BB's Holy moonlight Greatsword, that thing had a much larger moveset. This one basically just shoots beams with its heavy attack.

Although the game isn't easy, I love the fact it rewards the player for their skill, time, dedication, discovery within themselves & others, and focus on the story. Every weapon tells a subtle story about their amazing power and FromSoftware did an amazing job showing their glory and wanting to achieve the true title of Elden Lord and become the new godly diety of the Lands Between!

Elden Ring just keeps pumping out so much awesome detail, artistry and inspired creativity that I'm basically in awe that it exists at all.

Levels are a bit bland tbh. Castle Morne was a massive let down. The open world becomes a bit boring. Hoping that later on the game becomes more souls like with the levels. Hopefully they stop making open world games after this as open world games are inherently bland and boring.

the miquellan knight's sword is my favorite sword, I like how it's like a smaller moonlight sword but does holy damage
0:48 if you press the same button again it will cost more mana but you will make an big explosion by hitting the ground afterwards. Many people don’t seem to know this

the issue is, it says it in the weapon description but people refuse to read them for some reason
You'd think its common practice for a gamer to see what happens if they do more than just tap the button by itself rather than seeing if it can be altered in some way either by clicking again, holding the button, or simply tilting the left stick.
Weird swords, normal attacks are with one sword then suddenly the 2th sword appears on the character when doing the special. Looks shit
I appreciate the more varied move set they’ve added with Halberds. I refused to use Halberds in DS due to the limited move set.
Damn, I've always used them. The range, plus the power make them a great weapon.
@@mikegearsmitchell maybe I never found a good one. The Glaives tended to do what I wanted as opposed to Halberds. But ER has some great Halberds to chose from.
@@j.vinton4039 Knight Riders Glaive is great for strength builds cause it has an S scaling in strength with heavy affinity (any build really). Not to mention you can put Aow on it. The Golden Halbred is one of the strongest as well.
Good god.. These weapons & weaponarts are absolutely breathtaking! The Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear is definitely something I am planning on picking up!
It's an incredible weapon and super fun to use to scare ganks.
Unfortunately, it like most Arcane weapons, currently doesn't scale at all. The art will do insane damage because of the bleed effect, but stabbing people with it does less than 100 on average. lol
@@PaperFlare its all the split damage type arcane weapons that are bugged, the pure physical arcane weapons all work fine.

The sword of milos real ability is after pressing the skill button , your strong attacks change to a lot more aggressive and crazy. Not just normal heavy looking attacks.

He escaped the third colossal weapon"s whole art of war, its supposed to be pulling all your enemies into you and them exploding in the process by hitting the giant swords in the ground i think, some weapoms need to double click or holding the button to use their whole ash of war, either way good video indeed for such a masterpiece.
The starscourge sword has a another attack if press the skill button while it's already going off

You did not show me the most powerful part of the starscourge greatswords power.
When 2 handed, the first attack pull enemies towards you and if you press again right after that, you'll slam the ground with the 2 swords and do massive aoe damage

I always wished there was an ash of war for colossal swords to pull towards you for a grandslam, like the elf guy in Liurna does.
These weapons are stunningly beautiful
10:17 FYI, the wing of astel curved weapon, has another special ability which is its strong atk. The strong attack from this weapon creates a magical projectile without costing any FP. Im loving this wep with my astrologer. Highly recommended to those full int or int hybrid build.

@@hallacson8535 no you were right, it is in the lake of rot. You just have to get to the other side and drop down into the little temple area and its right on the edge of a cliff down there

Colosal weapons: you can hold the weapon arts for ghiza's wheel (the pizza cutter) or the prelate's inferno croizier (giant red hammer) and move around dealing constant damage in front of you.
The Golden order great sword does more then just that, if you press the button twice it will shoot out a wave of “holy energy”, that’s it’s real ability.
I really like the animations of these weapons. I also like how your character looks like. Very nice video.

just headsup, the video only show the left trigger special attack, some of them have its unique attack in heavy attack (like frozen needle), and some of the can be fire multiple times (like fallingstar), and some of them have unique passive effect, even hidden effect in item description, good luck catching 'em all fellow tarnished!

You didn’t show the full combo for Death’s Poker. Got teleported over near the boss that drops it on my second day and spent all day trying to kill that thing. That weapon CARRIED me through the game.
I tried making it fall off a cliff. The one time when I tried killing it legitimately, it jumped on its own. The weapon is worth it
The golden order greatsword has an extra move if you keep prettying LT or whatever the button is on pc.

The golden order greatsword's weapon art has a projectile if you heavy attack after it.
The sword Golden Epithap is very good to killing sekeletons because they can't revive, that sometimes can be very annoying if you are fighting with more than one.
The katana went on full vergil mode
game is actually insane, I beat previous fromsoft games but never did ng+ but for sure going to do ng+ for this one to try out more builds
You can respec so many times you have plenty of chances to try other builds it's great

@@dazza4105 nice. Im 76 hours in and about halfway through the game. Still have everything north of the dactus lift to thoroughly explore. Plus the river systems south. I have lots of graces up north and went and got some key items quickly but havent actually took my time up there yet.
This game has cool spells and cool weapons. I'm definitely going to consider buying it now.
Btw that first Katana gave me a Sephiroth vibe! 😁

What was the second colossal greatsword in your inventory? How do you get it
he played so long that he became as powerful as a main story boss
My character is lvl 335 as a strength/faith build. Using 2 specific incantations and Serpant-Hunter with the Sword of Flame and Stars seems to get like 90% of invaders to wet themselves in fear. Area control baby!

uh...most these weapons being showcased aren't even in the "legendary" weapon class. There are only 9 of those for the achievement.
Blood helice has three parts of the weapon art. Spin away, heavy attack button, and then heavy attack button again.

Is the weapon also has bug if you swap rivers blood with recently buffed weapon? Like the time i mention?

probably the haligtree farming route, but then he only has a +5 flask so i'm not sure. possibly cheated in offline mode

im new to this type of game and have a question, say i pick samurai class can i still use a greatsword or are weapons stuck to character. Also if i was a samurai is amour the same thing?

@@lastwind5207 I've never actually played through a Souls game. I find them impossibly difficult. However, the designs of the weapons, bosses, and environments in the series (sans DS2) are rich. As such, I watch playthroughs, boss runs, and weapon/spell displays such as this.

Man as I much as I love the Souls series I really wish they added new animations for each weapon and not just relied on the weapon skills to differentiate them. Sometimes it looks goofy af how we wield them. This is why I loved the trick weapons in Bloodborne. Everything felt really unique to each other and looked cool while doing so. Hopefully we'll see a sequel to Bloodborne 2 some day with this open world. I'm so happy FromSoft is constantly evolving with Sekiro and Elden Ring. I can't wait to see what they show us next.
Bloodborne didn’t have that many weapons as Elden ring so they could afford to make their move sets all varied, in Elden ring there are countless number of weapons, it’s understandable as to why they won’t make a unique animation for every weapon IMO
@@sliceofzura bro its been too long of the same old animations to keep saying that. It doesnt even have to be every weapon but at least the boss/unique weapons should do this. I love FromSoft but I hope one day they will do it.

the only gripe I have with this game is how once again Strength builds have such a bigger pool of options compared to Dex and battle mage let's say. Not everybody wants to swing skyscapers :(

Just as a heads up a lot of weapons have a followup combo that you didn't showcase hitting the buttons more than once like the golden order greatsword after you do your pose and explodes with light hitting it again immediately slashes a small wave of light on the ground. That's just one example but you didn't showcase a lot of them.
Not to mention there's a lot of weapons he just flat out skipped.

There's a lot of secondary attacks you can do with the weapon arts after the first attack...
you used the Godskin peeler special wrong. You're supposed to hold the button down so it does the whirlwind before the slam.

If you paid attention you would notice that each time he switches weapons you can pause and see the weapon name and all the stats that come with it as well.

@@DeCaptain- some of them you see the stats after he shows the weapon rather than before. you can pause the screen when he switches and youll see all the stats of the weapon in hand and like a second later you'll see all the stats of the new weapon hes about to show
Thrustswords are really disappointing compared to the other weapon classes

Heavy thrusting swords are better than normal thrusting swords in PvP, they are incredible rollcatching machines. But thrusting swords are still very good too.

@@eligreg99 but that’s what halberts/pikes are for. Spears are historically predominantly stabbing/thrusting weapons. Claws and fists barely have any exclusive ashes of war. Spears have plenty.

Between katana 3 and 4 you skipped 1, I think it's lunar veil in Spanish...but I only know how to do the second attack...how do you do the first attack?

Hello people, what build do you recommend me doing on my first game? I just unlocked the rebirth thing, so It's all opened for me now. I'd like to use as many weapons as possible, but I also like these weapon arts. Not spells or anything like that, I prefer to complete the game once before doing that. Should I upgrade Faith, Intelligence, or Arcane?
Gonna be honest here chief, but faith has way cooler shit than int builds in my honest opinion, so go for faith
Level up your intelligence to about 28, the meta level for this game is looking to be in-between 150-160
@@MrDerpHerpinThe3rd There are also really cool things with intelligence, and arcane is better for blood damage, and since I use the big estoc sword with blood, it's difficult. Anyways, I made one with equal faith and arcane (25 more or less), and equal strength and dexterity, around 30. I don't usually level up health since it makes me better at the game, because everything kills me instantly xD.
