I went to the supermarket today at 3pm and my heart broke seeing all the vulnerable elderly people that were trying to get food.
I can’t stop thinking about the elderly, the doctors and nurses, the delivery drivers etc. Plus all the women and men in violent relationships and children with abusive parents, with no where to escape to.
We are indeed powerless. And I think everyone is afraid and broken hearted right now. 😥💔

I must say I have a 19 year old daughter battling blood cancer, she has been fighting the last 2 years, it’s her second relapse and cannot get past 6 weeks and the growth is back. She starts intensive chemotherapy & Radiotherapy and then on to a stemcell transplant. We cannot get hand sanitizer a basic we have used in 2 years and because of selfish people making money it’s putting the most vulnerable at risk - your dog is absolutely gorgeous by the way 💞💞 finally all the pubs and restaurants have closed 🙏 xxx

After my meltdowns yesterday I feel much better today, I think I just needed a blowout of all the mess that was in my head. I'm going to start as day one again now my head is clear.
Don't be afraid to have a meltdown if your in a safe environment, my anxiety levels have lowered. Stay safe everyone.
Thank you to The Sawalha-Adderley family for keeping me/us entertained and informed in these uncertain times.

As a disabled person who is housebound I am getting increasingly angry with able bodied people who are taking all the staple things off the shelves so those of us who rely on home deliveries are having our deliveries cancelled. All I want is one bag of pasta, one bag of rice and some fruit and veg plus toilet roll. Am I the one being selfish? I am making sure on a daily basis my elderly neighbours are ok too.

It's disgusting. I was in a corner shop with no restrictions on loo roll and I took one. A few seconds later a woman came in and took almost all of them. Wish I had of had the nerve to say something. Oh it makes my blood boil.

FYI- In New York, we have been advised NOT to visit older, vulnerable people. If your girls are still going out, having any older person in your home puts them in mortal danger. Here, in the States, we have a family in New Jersey who have lost 5 members and counting because they all met for Sunday Dinner. at Grandmother's house. As a result, she has died, along with three of her children with another in critical condition. So, NY, has mandated a " stay in place" for the foreseeable future. I am surprised UK has not followed suit.

Well guys today I had an epiphany,l got out of bed went down stairs made myself a cup of coffee, sat down to drink it and then it hit me like a bolt ,l had no pain in my body,l wasn't stumbling around like i was having a hangover,l wasn't yawning like l do till the afternoon,l had the best nights sleep in a long time, this quarantine time has made me take the time not to rush around like a chook, cleaned the house, cooked and baked and filled the house with wonderful smells that somehow stopped a long time ago, I've taken long walks with my dog that can't believe I'm home all day, I've ever put the garden in order.
I know this virus is a bad thing, but it has made me stop and look at how the work and the technology has turned me into a robotic slave always on the go,this has been an eye opener for me, where has the time gone life has just passed so quickly, please everyone take the time for yourself to calm down, and stop worrying that there is no toilet paper or that food will disappear from the shelves because it won't, things will start to calm down like with all the other pandemics with through the years.
Take this time to love yourself, your family, your friends, pick up the phone give them a ring talk to them, and see if everything is ok and remember life is so short maybe by seeing this situation with the virus we'll make us see life differently ,l know it has for myself, take time and start loving.💖

I wish the media would start reporting some positive news on the virus. The only channel I've seen do this was STV news last night - they interviewed an elderly gentleman who had been hospitalised and was now home (but still being careful and self isolating). He's still has a bit of a cough but apart from that, he's fine! Makes me less worried for my elderly mum, just as long as we all follow the guidelines. Stay safe guys xx

Mark well said, about the wasted travel. We can do so much more remotely. Big corporations perhaps have, and many on big expenses milked travel opportunities with huge costs to our environment. We should at some point, when we do emerge form this, look at a shorter working week. And also aim to end in work poverty.

Totally agree Nadia, it’s keeping me awake at night and it’s crazy scary. I still feel in shock, but big concern is getting food and supplies to the elderly and vulnerable as well as the rest of the nation. They need to start rationing and organising food collection points, at the moment we can’t even order in line as no slots. It’s the unknown for sure, the government are obviously trying to put measures in place, but there’s very little detail in all of this. Every day seems like a week atm, all I keep thinking is the old war time mantra..keep calm and carry on, that and loads of tea.

Your videos are a lifeline for many people - amazing. In my household in Nice, South of France, my teenage kids (and all their friends) are self-isolating. Our family is together and we work/cook/study. etc. together. They’re in contact with friends on social media. They’re fine about it. Could work for you. Stay well X

Sending you Nadia Mark and Nanny Di, Maddie and all the family, much love hugs 🤗♥️ and everyone who watches this channel at this time of extreme fear and worry about the Corona virus covid19 pandemic. Thoughts are with Nadia's father Teddy and Mark's mum Nanny Di too. I know that it's easy for me to say this but please try and stay safe as far as possible. My own parents are in the at risk group, both my parents are in their 70's and I have a niece Molly who was born prematurely and has had such a tough start to life, her immune system is permanently damaged and understandably I'm worried about both my parents and my niece Molly. She is a fighter and has come through so much over many months. Still going to work, I work in a supermarket and have many worries about my situation, given that I have been homeless for six months and recently was diagnosed with urinary sepsis, so this Corona virus covid19 pandemic is the last thing I need especially given I do just 8 hours per week and if I was to self isolate I wouldn't get sick pay and would have to do without food for three weeks before I get paid my universal credit payment for my rent, assuming that I would get paid it. The official advice from ACAS is this, if you have been told by your employer to self isolate, you will be paid, if you have not been told by your employer to self isolate then we won't get paid. Now the government has said that full time employees get £150 a week and for part time workers we get a percentage of our weekly wage. Not clear as to what the exact details of this are. Do employers pay this to us or is it paid by the department for work and pensions? Self isolating for me is not the thing that scares me, it's the uncertainty of whether people in my situation will get paid for doing the right thing that scares me. With bills and food and hygiene supplies to routinely buy each week. This is something that I know that many people across the UK and the world face, financial uncertainty in addition to the Corona virus covid19 pandemic. 🙏🤗🤗🤗♥️♥️🕯️🕯️

This is quite a scary situation because my dad looks after his parents and they’ve both got underlying health issues my gran has Alzheimer’s and dementia and my Grandad has COPD. So it’s that thought of in my dad’s case: ‘Oh do I go down today?’ ‘Should I just wait with them and live with them till this blows over’ ‘How do I support them if we can’t get down there?’ It’s really worrying and god I’ve started tearing up a bit now just thinking about it. But anyway, thank you for giving us your thoughts and solutions Sawalha Family! Love your channel! Stay safe and heathy

Snuggling with my Pixie on the sofa and then having our nightly play session on the floor is such a relief. I can concentrate on nothing but that -- and drink in Pixie's absolute JOY of playing with her squeaky toys! Ahh love High Anxiety -- any Mel Brooks movie, really. We should all do a Mel Brooks binge-athon!! The weather is gorgeous here now -- only problem is the pollen is MISERABLE! Could seasonal allergies not just give us a break? Just this ONE time?! 🙄

I think we have never faced anything like this in our generation we r doing what the older generation had to face during the war time Your right go and have some fresh air outside listen to the birds we r all with you and you have the dogs to keep you company I think it will come to the stage where kids won’t be going out now bars clubs and restaurants r closing and you will pull together as a family went for a bike ride today if you can get out to a park or go round the block for a walk. Just to relive the boredom stay safe guys your doing great job

Well living in the south east in a small village, you wouldn’t think there was a horrible virus going around. People queuing outside the butchers standing less than a few inches apart, crammed into our local Sainsbury’s express and lining up closely to get their Costa take away coffee 🤷🏻‍♀️ And all looked over 65 at least. Not sure we really understand the concept of social distancing in small villages 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s absolutely terrifying not only with the virus but the world has gone crazy, I work in a nursing home it’s already been put on lockdown for visitors not being allowed to come in but we have been prepped now for possibly staying there for weeks, obviously we have got to protect our residents and care for them but it’s such a scary thought, whether ure self isolating or not it’s a very lovely frightening time and my anxiety has gone in an absolute tailspin, and as for the panic buying 🤷‍♀️ now is a time for people to be kind and pull together but a lot of greed and selfishness is a lot of what I’m seeing. Stay safe everyone ❤️❤️

Hi just been watching your parents think they are great I’m with them I am seventy and I am being as sensible as I can about not going out but sometimes needs must.My husband has cancer it’s incurable but manageable for now I had to get his prescriptions yesterday we can only get from the Hospital they can’t deliver so I had to go out. They have cancelled his Hospital appointment for Tuesday which is fine because they’re going to do it over the phone but said he would still have to go get his bloods done had to sit in a room with lots of other sick people but hey ho it had to be done so we are trying very hard to isolate but can’t always do it.We will get through this so try not to panic too much Nadia stay safe.😷x

I have anxiety and my son gets rather anxious but my hubby is not the anxious type. Wow it looks nice and empty there. My son is starting to feel the need to go out. I’m classed as vunerable due to my health but mainly my asthma. My immune system is dreadful and I catch anything going. I’m wondering if I should allow my son to at least have a walk and not one round the garden he said . Bless my sweet son and husband has been amazing at guarding me . I have had a letter to isolate for 12 weeks. Chi chi is so cute and toffee. I love your family vlogs they make me giggle 🤭 and mark is hysterical 😭
