Here's my rant... In the news it's been confirmed the wet markets are back up in parts of China.. OK rant begins... The Chinese have no empathy, there born without it, there the only society that skins live animals (mainly dogs) while there still alive just because they believe the meat will taste better if the animals is in as most pain as possible while its dying. Of course the wet markets in China are back up and running.. Youde think they would've learned from SARS but nope....

If they didn't learn from SARS they won't learn from this... The Chinese government are run by elitist idiots that just care about staying in power, they probably believe if they close the wet markets they'll get a massive backlash and God forbid u have 20 farmers get mad at you. Corruption rules them
My emotions are a rollercoaster at the moment. One minute I'm depressed, then anxious, then for a while I'll be totally fine. But overall I just feel like everything is wrong. Nothing is as it should be, and it's so unsettling.

I have to drive to my mum's house daily (she lives in sheltered housing with Dementia) and I couldn't help but feel like I had gone back in time - to the 70's or something. It was quite nostalgic! Love it when your videos come up - they keep me going in the evening x

Can anyone explain to me why they are allowing planes to land and they’re not testing the passengers. And yet we’ve all been grounded? I just don’t understand. 🤔

Because it's a lot less planes and the idea is to slow the spread not prevent the spread. It would be very expensive (if supply was even available) and close to impossible to test every single person coming in and find a place to quarantine them and take care of them out of site for 2-3 weeks. They might start doing that when the quick 5min tests go public.
What I don't understand is why they still won't let people of the cruise ships (even when everyone has tested negative) if their letting people off planes!?
My elderly neighbours came back from 5 months in Benidorm on Sunday, not checked Benidorm or Heathrow, not told to anything
You can still see your mum, Mother’s Day or not...I and others like me whose mothers are in a care home can’t get near our mums...I might not see my mum again, she’s 87 she might not last 3 weeks, 12 weeks , 6 months?? Who knows? Last time I saw my mum was 9th March....you’re lucky xxx
Saw a video today of people walking around at 2am caught on security camera spitting on peoples car handles,car boots and gates and rubbing it in ugh how evil is that 😥😤😥😤
I lost my mum on Sunday from a massive heart attack and because of this horrible virus we couldn’t stay with her while she passed in the hospital

If you're still wearing the same gloves in the car then they're pointless. You should put them on as you get out of the car and when you return, open the car door then throw your gloves away.
I’m from America. My next-door neighbors had a party outside with 30 to 40 people. I have two auto immune diseases and I was scared. I did something that I never did in my life. I called the police I have never call the police I don’t neighbor in my life. The police told me it was their private property and then there was nothing they could do

We are so completely OCD that we clean our shopping outside, before bringing in to house. We’ve got post and parcel quarantine areas, never has shopping and unpacking become so much like a surgical procedure. Like my husband said we treating everything as if it’s radio active 😱 before being decontaminated. God knows how long it will be before we will get back to just putting things straight into cupboards. We even wipe down car and steering wheel etc eeek is this paranoia normal folks?

We been supporting our local coffee makers, we always grind our own coffee beans, and my husband has been supporting the local craft breweries, who deliver for free.
We also have been ordering to pick up from the Supermarket, we still have plenty of food in the stores in Ottawa, plus Toilet rolls are limited to 1-2 per person, they only one person should go to the store.
There are massive bylaw fines now for anyone who breaks the new rules.
Had really up and down day on Saturday as it was my Daughters 21st but she is in Montreal, we did video chat and she opened her presents with us, but had a massive cry because of this bloody virus etc.

Aww cried watching this .. my birthday was the day before Mother’s Day .. I could not get a card from my family as they was in self isolating .. which was sad but glad they was safe no time to be selfish as can not wait to give my dad a hug face time will do for now .. miss my mum more on my birthday and Mother’s Day .. let’s stay safe and do what is asked then we can see our loved ones again .. enjoy time with your children .. talk to friends .. shopping makes me want to scream .. I watch my family eat and feel like saying don’t .. as can’t get a delivery slot .. the thought of going to a shop scares the hell out of me .. I hope it’s other soon .. let’s hope there is good that’s comes after all this much sad ness .. as I know it will change the way I look at things and appreciate what I got fair much more now than I ever did .. stay safe everyone 🤗

I remember so called ‘Hong Kong flu’ up to 4 million people died, I had it, 2 children from out school died, but life went on as normal, we didn’t have rolling news, social media, people weren’t scared, but on the other hand maybe so many people worldwide wouldn’t have died if we had locked down 🤷♀️

You don't want to freeze your avocados whole in the skin, they can look, smell and taste horrible when they thaw out. Take the skin and stone out and place the separate halves into a freezer bag or box for the best results. I think the problem is the stone, it can rot and form mould quicker than the fruit part.

So funny about Mark's face at check out. You're absolutely right Mark, being worried in the supermarket about what you will catch, what's in the air, or what others have touched, really unsettles. If your car is disintected only put gloves when you get out to go anywhere, and remove before getting in the car, otherwise cross infecting all surfaces in the car, if there should be anything nasty on gloves. I've always been a germaphone with touching lift buttons, doors, escalators, etc. Have always carried hand gel, or have a bigger hand gel in the car.
I agree about rationing I only worry because I’m vegan and they’d consider that a personal choice and none essential. The other day I was in town in Poundland and two ladies looked like they’d bought out out the entire store

We’ve all got to do this for not just our own personal safety but for those whom we all hold dearly & deeply in our hearts. It’s really, really hard at the moment and hopefully as time passes it will get better. I do think the Government are doing their best under extraordinary circumstances.
Agree about food drop & rationing & I’m more than positive that will come into force sooner rather than later as too many people being disrespectful.
I was shopping on Mother’s Day & the amount of people going to visit their elderly & vulnerable people were astounding! I was disgusted & so disappointed about our country!
I must admit instead of Easyjey flying over our house at silly o’clock in the morning... it is so, so lovely & satisfying that I wake up to bird song ... so beautiful amazing.

Do u use antibacterial wipes? If they dont contain alcohol will they help? I'm so scared of food shopping
Hi Tod I think they should work as they said soap kills viruses, so washing our hands even with a bar of soap should get rid of the virus on your skin if you wash for at least 20 seconds so if that’s the case for hand washing I would assume that cleaning shopping with antibacterial wipes should work it is hard to know what’s best though! I get very worried about shopping and I do the same I clean absolutely everything with disinfectant, shopping, shopping bags, the floor that the bags where on..... it’s never ending

@@gemmah6012 Hey, I'm really sorry you're feeling this anxiety, but you're certainly not alone - I'm also really on edge when I venture out for a shop. I'm trying to manage the anxiety by using disposable gloves, not bagging the shopping, but anti-bacing it all with disposable wipes (sorry planet!) when I get back to the car, then placing into bags. Gloves and used wipes int bin, then hand santiser for good measure - it's insane, but these are crazy times. All the best x
