Just loved this vlog about the windrush! Mark your comments bought back so many memories for me back in 1962 when i was 7, my best friend was a sweet sweet Jamaican girl called Joan Jackson, never saw her as black just my friend. Always tried tried to get invited to stay for dinner !! Loved their food, I think I got my taste for spicy food from her lovely family. My husband is Asian and been married for 46 Years, in the early 70s I had rasist slogans shouted at me,all of what you said Mark is so true, so sad isn't it.

I hate it when i see Nanny Di going to the train station, with all her bags , going back to her empty flat . I hate it when i'm in London and have to leave my girls at the tube staion when i go home back up North . 😞

Nadia I swear I’m the same I get into such a mess of untidiness my friends and family despair of me once in a while I go mad and clear all my clothes in my bedroom tidy kitchen and living room and phew 😅 and tell myself keep it like this, then within a week it’s looks like my flat has been ransacked and can’t help it , and so it goes on, and I’m 72 and been like all me life I honestly agree with you it’s a disease, and I am a young 72 even a new GP I saw last week thought the wrong patient walked in , he said are you sure your 72 ummm yes I am, I think my problem doesn’t help me I’ve got too many clothes I’ve tried to have a sort out but end up throwing them all back in wardrobe literally 😬 eeek

Nadia - you need to try the konmari method. If not all of try the first part by piling all your clothes and working out if they spark joy- if they don’t, get rid. The freedom I felt once getting rid of old crap was enormous. Ps love the vlog - keep going - so honest and refreshing to see people living a real life and talking about real issues. A diverse modern family with wonderful humour, arguments, ups, downs and everything in between - which is a reflection of real life - not sanitised and polished to present an “instagram” snapshot of life.

Love your relationships with Nanny Di especially Marks, could have held so many grudges but doesn’t, much the better option!
