I was so angry with how Noble reacted during and after the Burnley game, I don't think I've ever truly forgiven him. A number of things have gone right since then but something within me died at that time. It was the end of innocence for me as a West Ham fan.
The fan protests were sabotaged, somebody from the ICF was threatening to bring the far right down to stop any protests and the whole thing had Karren Brady's fingerprints all over it. Outsiders will never get what it is to be a West Ham fan, I understand that. However, the illusion of all of us being completely different but coming together around this club and there was no right or wrong way to do that was destroyed. What was supposed to be a great unifier was being used to divide people.
The club will never be the same again. It cannot heal because GSB permanently broke it and Mark was on their side.
Jesus give it a rest. The fact there is anyone out there who has negative emotions towards Nobes is unfathomable. I don't mean to offend but my days the stupidity is embarassing. Every club has had shitty owners, owners mean nothing, they aren't the club, we are, and they certainly shouldn't effect your opinion on arguably our greatest ever legend.
That's just how I felt. He let us down doing that.
