Great job as always Marty, as a kayak fisherman this kind of stuff is what is just addicting about fishing. Flat calm water, silence, a whole spot all by yourself, blue bird skies, no wind, and bait blowing up! This is what I strive for Marty!! And you captured it on film, it made me feel like I was there with you catching fish.

I'm trying to watch all your videos and of the ones I've had the pleasure of seeing so far this is my favorite. I love the way you not only get into fishing, but get into nature. It's really nice to see someone else like that. I love your DIY ones as well. thanks for sharing. Oh and the bait fish jumping like that was truly awesome. You should have seen the smile on my face and the amazement, like I was right there with you.

Hey Marty. I think this is one of the best videos I have seen you do so far. The variety of shots was impressive, from the overhead pole shots to the underwater walking shot to the slow motion flying jack shot, ( freakin awesome) , I was impressed, but the music and pacing and editing was spot on too. The google earth was as good as Dylan Winter. Your videos just keep getting better.
I am happy you have a place like Moses hole to go too, it is a blessing to have a place you can still get lost in so close to the city. Thanks for making and sharing.

I just subscribed to your channel last week. Talk about a great video! I've always said I can go fishing without a rod & reel and still have a great time. It is evident that your journey to your destination is part of your fun too. Fishing is great but there is so much more to it when you take in the surroundings. Your part of the US is pretty cool to see. I'm from the northeast so my typical scenery is much different. I've seen plenty of feeding frenzies in both fresh & salt water and I am always in awe to actually seeing it happen before me. Thanks for sharing & putting this one together! I'm looking forward to watching more....tight lines!

You should bring a survival kit with you everywhere you kayak so in places like this is you get lost or have to spend the night or a few hours there you have something to help you survive so basically: water, 3 ways to start a fire, something like a cliff bar, space blanket for shelter or to keep warm or even for signaling, folding knife, medical kit, I know you probably already use whistles, some paracord, and other things essential for survival. I recommend the channel Sensible Prepper to look at anything I missed but everything I said can be made into a pouch just to have with you. Your videos are awesome and can’t wait to someday rent a kayak from you! Keep up what you are doing man!

Marty, you need a TV show. I love watching your videos. I do a lot of trout and bass fishing from my sit-in kayak, but you make me want to go salt water fishing down south, and to save up for a Hobie Pro Angler - that thing is SWEET. I love those mangrove corridors!

Marty, your videos are top notch! I spend way too much time one here watching them and dreaming of they life you're living. You've inspired me to get into kayak fishing. I'm getting ready to build my own wood strip kayak (I'm cheap and like to build things). I figure a couple outriggers like you had on the poor man's kayak will make it nice for being able to get somewhere quickly, carry a lot of stuff and still be able to stand up. Thanks for inspiration! Now to make it down your way and do some fishing together.

I love the little cays off the Bay! We'd put in at Bishop Harbor (jon boat, 125, and a trolling motor). That is NOT how we got to Moses Hole! COVID "lockdown" 2020.
    Some favorite moments were:
    - realizing that the mangroves are the "nurseries" for baby fish until they get bigger. Smart!
    - having the water rush out of the cays with low tide. I had lots of fishies hiding behind my legs to catch smaller fishies sucked out with the tide. It wasnt even knee deep. The fish would bump me but no bites. The little bonnetheads are so cool.
    - and sometimes the wrong kind of fish grabs your hook and you end up with an "illegal catch." But you can park at a sandbar and cut up that fish as fresh bait! Even if the law cruises your way, they can't get past that sandbar. 😂

This video has so much which is amazing about fishing, about kayaks, and more! Kayaks are absolutely wonderful for exploring hidden places. I've been exploring via satellite views on Google Maps to find spots near home, and it's so fun getting out there. I've recently learned what seems like a small creek leads to a major pay-to-fish (from the shore) lake some ways away. There's a dam, though, so I definitely cannot break any rules going up-stream as far as I can!
And if I EVER catch two fish on one lure, I'll soil my kayak!
