It's funny to hear Vaemond talk of "Velaryon blood" to Rhaenyra because every living Tagraeyan has Velaryon blood in them. Aegon I's mother, Lady Valaena Velaryon, was a Velaryon! That's why the Velaryon's followed the Tagraeyan's to Westorose.
The Velaryons sailed across the Narrow Sea & settled in Westeros before The Targaryens.
It goes even more than that, Viserys gran-grandmother was a Velaryon, and both his parents were siblings and his grandparents were siblings, so really he should have more or less as much Velaryon blood as he has Targeryan blood.
That without mention that Rhaenyra's children would marry Velaryion (surprise surprise, this is a family of incest, the Velaryion bloodline never at risk), this dumbass Vaemond was activaly harming his own house.
