Did not watch the Series, but the only reasonable character is Drogon. He got it: No Throne, no game.

You know it’s bad when everyone cheered when she died. One of the most loved characters completely fucked by the last season. Biggest letdown in tv history.

It’s not the tragic ending that people are mad about. It’s how the character of Daenerys was changed or in some people’s words butchered in the season finale.
We were expecting either Jon or Dany to be Azor Ahai, but that entire storyline got flushed down the toilet.
It's terrible storytelling, bottom line.
@NerdySage It was what GRRM originally planned. There were hints if you rewatch the show that she was arrogant, mad, conceited, and power hungry. She just had people holding her down, and by this point they were all gone.

I laughed out loud in two spots when this was on live: Tyrion moving literally 5 rocks and finding the bodies of his siblings and the dragon melting the iron throne, like it had any idea what it represented.

I think Jon was brought back to kill Dany, because he was the only one the dragon would let near her and not kill, sensing the Targaryen in him

Her going dark was represented in her clothing as the seasons went on. It was very telegraphed. She also never really got control on Mareen. She just bounced. She was all scorched earth.

Meereen? There was nothing to indicate that Meereen fell again after she exterminated the slavers in 6x9. How can you use that as an argument that she'd burn a million innocents?
They say that in breeding causes madness, didn't her grandfather go nuts too at the end. Dany's one redeeming quality was to never harm children or the innocent, so you can't just say it was because she went through a lot they all did. She was ready to kill everyone who was not a liberator who was a dictator, John couldn't let her live. Drogon didn't kill him because he knew that at the end of the day, John was the last Targerian.
It would be better if Drogon just kill John, his fans is accept and justify his betrayal of Danny to easily and after that wanted to dragon didnt kill him, what a hypocritical way of thinking. Besides that they accept absurd plot twist what Danny suddenly go mad. Yeah what other do to her, including her allies and all loved John and Sansa, its harsh but strong willed and caring Danny still could overcome this and would not burn Kings Landing. Freaking fanboys and girls which always put their preferences over logic, moral, analysis of complicate situations like that in which John and Sansa fault a lot. John dont have a right to do that what he dome. It could be better if he just talk normally with Danny after that by understanding his and otherы fault and what even after this Danny do so much more good things and still have light and potential to fix "her"(show runners) mistakes. He could try more that one small try and throne room and give Danny a chance. But fanboys and commoners always be like that and never even think about things i said with her empty heads.
And important note what i like John like Danny and sure what he didnt kill her. Yes maybe to someone its kinda interesting classic drama-tragic plot move with all that thing where loyal partner and vassal of his queen kills her cause she was "corrupted" by power/throne(symbolism and connection with Targaryens mad part of coin thing and father and adding not alive object the invisible power to change peoples souls), but more likely by scenarists idea that does not coincide with reality of characters personalities which already was shown to us, so i see whay John by putting away his oath and love with principles for "common sake" do all this by show runners will cause its emotional and for sake of creating drama and effect of shock and etc. But John just would not do this. Yes he would not be happy about that but at least he would have tried very hard and for a long time to return Danny all we know. So show runners ruin even John in their low class scenario. Bruh, Danny madness and absurd, way to banal and cheap trick but they didnt even can do this right. Very hardly but i could accepted if John kills her but like after long months of even years. Her Father The Mad King become like that like in decades. If they allow Danny to start to rule and show to us just simple compilation of fast moving time in future where John seeing Danny caring about innocent peoples less and less, what she really didnt manage to rule well and justly, and after burning Landing King done or planned to do line of really bad or another one just horrible things on level of burning town, only than Danny death would be look acceptable besides fact that madness and evilness didnt fit Danny at all and she would never have become a tyrant like this and like she was shown by HBO. But that could be jut ok, but what they do to ours dears and objectively most decent, kind and morally strong characters for sake of their cheap teenagers plot moves in some Shakespeare style which looks out of place in GOT...

Danny deserved better. This show was so amazing, and I can't rewatch any scene without getting LIVID about how they ruined Daenerys, made John into a simp that was revived for nothing, and made Bran the Vegetable King of Westeros. 🤬😡💢😤😭

I'm guessing you had been blind to the foreshadowing the entire series. This had been building from her introduction, and she always feared becoming her father. Through her actions, trying not to be him, she ultimately became him brilliant writing from the writers.

To the blonde sweetheart at the end- season 8 was a travesty and universally rejected. One of a million criticisms was these bastards made Daneris become a crazy person in the span of 2 episodes. but its just tv show hun
