- There is no more reasons to be messy.. when we can create folders to organise measures !!!
Hi everyone,
It has been a while since I last posted my video. Lots of things have happened in my personal life, which meant that I had to put CZcams video making on hold for a bit.
Good news, I"m back and this week, in this Power BI Tutorial for beginners video, I will show you how to keep your measures list tidy and organised, using FOLDERS...
Yes, you can create folders to organise your measures, so that they are easy to find and can be grouped together.
This is something that I only recently learnt, but I found super useful and I can't stop using this feature afterwards.
In this video, you will also get a sneak peak of the video that I will publish next week, i.e. how to make a custom sales waterfall, which will show key driver of sales, such as price movement, volume movement, mix impact ,etc... Something super exciting, which I can't wait to share with you.
Hope you enjoy this video...
See you next time.
Cheers,

If you need to place a measure in a subfolder, you need to use "\" example "Trial\Sales" in the Display folder box
Your videos are clear and I love your voice. Thank you
Thank you for compliments and also the tips about subfolder... !!!
But...how did you create the maasures_group table to organize your measures?
If you use a semicolon ( ; ) between 2 folder names, you can have the same measure appear in both of those folders. For example, if you wanted a measure to appear in the Steps folder and the Trial folder, enter "Steps;Trial" in the display folder box for that measure.
Thank you for super useful tip. Really appreciate that.
