1:06 that’s one sharp looking motorcycle!!!!
Thank you, Patrick.
Wow !! That Kawasaki Service Bay, seems to very personal and all the😂comforts of home. Just SaYin’. Good stuff. 😎🇺🇸🇦🇺
It's amazing the similarities of the garages bays. 😉 Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Eric
One of those honest and true dealers you were talking about on a previous video. Long may they run and well may they prosper.
Hear, hear! Well said, Guy!
Great idea to search for recalls each year!
I have lots of ideas 💡! Now I need someone to listen to them. 😂
I love that green! It’s suits ya.
🏍🦑💨💚
Great info Eric
I’ll have to go their channel out 😎👍👍
Thank you so much!
Definitely much more involved in this ninja than mine. Sounds like a reasonable price for a service. Sounds like buying new paid off in the long run. She sure is Purdy 😍
Race for pinks?🤣🤣🤣
It's a good, honest dealer. I always walk away feeling good about money well spent. :)
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures
Bring it 🤪
Always a pleasure hanging out with you. I will definitely be looking up my VIN for recalls in the future. Safe travels and god bless 🙏
Just a small tip for folks to check from time to time. Hopefully it helps a few riders out there. 🏍💨🦑
It's hard to find a good shop but when you do, oh man, they're like family! Good sound advice to warm up the bike by riding it over. Great shout out!
Thank you, Ben.
Great information on the bike mate. I am sure that will help owners (current and potential).
Staying up to date on recalls is one of the dealerships main strengths.
Thank you, Matt. Just a small tip to help a few riders out there.
Good deal Eric. I'll go check them out.
Thank you, Larry.
Watching your video I groaned a bit thinking about service for scooters and motorcycles. With five machines now in the garage I find myself wondering at times if life wouldn't be a whole lot easier if I didn't have so many to worry about. Two go in for the annual safety inspection required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania next week and the Himalayan will soon reach the 3000 mile service interval. I'm pondering whether to haul it 100 miles to the dealership or do the service myself. And not far behind is the Trail 125 and the W650.
Your ZX4RR sure is a beauty. I'm glad you have a good and trustworthy dealership available for service. That's always a blessing.
I'll check out John and Lorna. Can't wrap my head around selling everything and moving to another country. I don't possess that level of courage or adventuring spirit.
Thanks for sharing another thought provoking video Eric. I always appreciate them.
I'm just sharing some helpful tips for moto riders. I hope it helps a few.
It's a real challenge to keep uo with 3 cars, 4 bikes, a trailer, and a jetski. Something always needs servicing. 😵😂
It's great to have a service shop nearby that is good to work with!
I hear you about recalls, too - I get a list from NHTSA every week on all the vehicles being recalled... it amazes me what makes/models/years have them.
We all have to do our due diligence .
That's a good tip on riding the bike to get all of that done. Thailand is Definitely becoming a popular stop for people moving.
Just a small pro tip from an old rider. Thailand is apparently very easy to live like a king there. Your dollar goes a long way. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Really sounds like a great dealership!
They're the best! I can't speak highly enough about them.
The dealer I bought my bike from is also a family owned business, and look after their customers.
That was a very comprehensive service, good one.
I had a recall on my BMW, which I didn't know about until I sold the bike. The buyer found it. I think that very disappointing from BMW and the dealer, who knew about it but didn't tell me.
Ride well.
Cheers
The dealer is suppost to register your bike in your name when you bring it in for service. It's sad they never did that for you. Somewhat, might be putting you in harms way.
Good for John and Lorna!!!
Amazing journey they're on in life.
Good pro tip. I’ve never searched for a recall for any of my vehicles! Shame on me! I have had vehicles have recall work done on them only because the brand service centre has actually searched and identified them. Good video brother.
Thank you, Brian. As always, I'm just sharing a few tips to help folks on their journey. I hope you and Mrs Tarla are doing well.
Safety recalls are never fun. Thanks for the reminder.
It's an item that falls through the cracks often. Thanks for stopping by.
Dang, that's a great price for service. 👍
Definitely not Harley Davidson prices 😅😅
Cheap at half the price compared to my HDs. 😂
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures That's for sure 🤣🤣
Love Kawasaki. I miss the big GTR1400.
You will have another! 😉
Good info ..nice bike ...
Thank you, Moe. I always enjoy your replies.
Love that Kawasaki.
Such an excellent machine.
I bet its a super fun bike to pilot .
It's freak'n amazing. You should go demo one. Most fun I've had in decades.
@KrakensGarageandAdventures I'd love to try one for sure. I have a track day this Sunday and there is a slight chance I may get an opportunity to sling a leg over one for a lap or two .
Two hour wait times not bad. I can burn that just looking at bikes. I’ll check out Thailand on Harley too
I try to go in with an open mind. Never rush service on your bike. That's where items to check are sometimes overlooked. Just my 2 cents. :)
I had to rewind...Superman!
I'm sneaky like that! 🤔😂

Hey nice dealership I may of made a stop there before. 😀👍
Great tip on checking the recalls. I tend to check those on occasion as the owner of used bikes. 🙂🏍️👍
You sure do get around, Nick! Just a small town dealer making an honest living. Thanks for stopping by.
Good on the dealer to provide a detailed checklist. Reasonable price too for service. I paid $365 for the 500-mile checkup on the Sling, which is basically an oil change. Looks like an interesting channel I’ll definitely check out!
It's hard to believe that you needed your first service already. It seems like you just bought your SS. I share this pricing info so others can guage what their dealer is charging them. Thank you for taking the time to watch my content, RJ.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures always, my friend.
Love seeing you on that bike. It just screams FUN, what a great reason to own a bike! Good advice on the oil cooler, and on the recall info too. I have a 2007 car which has a part that has a design flaw that can make that part fail, and they still replace the part for free if it goes wrong in 2024. Loved the soundscape at the end, that bike sounds great! Good video, happy riding.
Thank you, Nic. Just a quick pro tip to help a few folks on their journey. I believe safety recalls are honored for life on any motor vehicle. Thank you again for the kind words.
I'd like to find a Spyder dealer that operates like your Kawasaki dealer. The first service on my Royal Enfield was $100 more than your first service. Your bike looks amazing... and fun 😁👍👍
I'm a very lucky man to have this dealer nearby. Thanks for stopping by.
I think that is a very reasonable price for your service.
I thought so, too. No shop fees, no hazardous waste fees, etc. Just a straight service. Thanks for stopping by, Stan.
If they ever have in the dealership a ZX14-R for sale give that a go for a test ride man as they are out of this world, I can't fault mine it's been an awesome bike. My self I must throw a leg over the ZX4RR and see what they are like.
I hope you get a chance to demo one. I suspect it will be boring compared to your ZX14.
I had my recalls done about a month ago and did my own first service.
I'm always at a quandary in the first service. So I have the dealer do the first and I do the rest. Do you order the service manual? It's the most detailed service manual I've ever seen. Thanks for stopping by.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures No I don't order the service manual. It's not that hard to work on these bikes. I've built bikes and rebuilt bikes. The hardest part now a days is mostly programing.
Maybe PA is better at something, lol, but both the HD and Can-AM were purchased 2nd hand and we received notifications of recalls on both. Same with our KIA and lots of recalls, lol
Did you register both VINs on-line? That would make sense that you would.
I would wager you CanAm dealer registered it on your name on the first time you took it in for service. All dealers are supposed to do that. But very few do. 🙌
@DFWMoose Your authorized dealer is supposed to do that. If you bought it used, just ask them to register for you. To my knowledge, I can not register it myself. Bad people could run amuck if you let customers do it.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures what if it’s sold by a private party ? When I sold my F3 the buyer registered it no problem but it may have been done by his local dealership when he took it in for a recall that I told him about?
It’s a dilemma but I’m pretty sure BRP lets you register the VIN as yours but not sure what proof of ownership is required?
@@DFWMoose Well I'm sure we did to get PA registration

@@DFWMoose Agreed!
@@DFWMoose ok lol 👍👍👍
Sounds like a great dealership. They will have a hard time riding that HD through the jam packed city streets. Like the Philippines, a big bike like that is hard to maneuver in dense, no rules, traffic and will be very hot when sitting in traffic.
There figuring that out ad they go. I have to admire their tenacity and will to change up their life.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures Yeah, I have been thinking about it, too.
Hi Eric, I'm 190cm 6 ft 3" roughly. Do you think I would struggle on this bike? I used to own a MT09 SP but sold it when I became a father. Now a couple of years later I regret and want to get back into it with a mini supersport!
I'm 6'4", and it's a little cramped but doable. I can ride 2 hours before I take a break and stretch. To be fair, at 61, I take a break after 2 hours on any bike I ride. My body is wearing out. With the risers and decent peg position, I think you'll be fine. I'm selling this bike. If you're near VA, email me at krakensgarage@gmail.com, and you can have a go on it.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures Thanks for the quick response, I would love to ride it! I'm 30 myself but I feel like 60...jokes a side. I'm living in Sweden, but thank you for the offer! I will go to a dealership which has the 40th anniversary scheme.
