    I am strongly contemplating these. I tried them on in the store and they fit my feet perfectly but the upper ankle area was sort of loose… like the side walls flare out in that area… allowing a little too much side to side slop in my ankle movement. Because of the boot stiffness, cranking down on the laces didn’t do enough to pull them in. Would baking them allow me to reform that area so it wraps around better?

    • @ice.warehouse
      @ice.warehouse  Před rokem

      Yes, that's precisely what baking helps with! Once baked, the ankle will better form around your foot.

      @@ben__ford9235 What improvements did you notice with the AS3 Pro? I'm currently on AS1s which I really like.

      They are all pretty similar when it comes to forward pitch. If you're looking for an agressive forward stance, then profiling with the Pro Sharp Triple Profile is the way to go!

    How does the CCM high volume fit compare to fit 3 from Bauer? Similar or is one larger?

    • @ice.warehouse
      @ice.warehouse  Před 2 lety

      They are pretty similar, both fit the wide forefoot and deep instep perfectly! Unless you need a custom high-volume fit, both the CCM Wide and Bauer Fit 3 should accommodate you!

      CCM is currently giving the AS-V Pro priority in getting the holder fixed and then they will take care of the AS-V. We should have stock of the AS-V by the end of August but that is also an estimated date depending on how fast CCM get can everything fixed.

    When will a new pair of vapours come out? And how does the super tacks range compare with vapor?

    • @ice.warehouse
      @ice.warehouse  Před 2 lety +1

      Vapors will come out next year as the Supreme line was released this year. As for comparison, both the Tacks and Supreme families are designed for that player who seeks to generate as much power out of every stride. The JetSpeed and the Vapor families are better suited for the quick and agile player.

    will the tapered fit be the same as the ft4 pros in tapered?

    • @ice.warehouse
      @ice.warehouse  Před 2 lety

      That is correct! Fit's between the JetSpeed, Tacks, and RibCor lines (only models that have the fit sytem) will all have the same fit. Now players can choose the skate that benefits their game! Tacks=Pure power, JetSpeed=Balance of quickness and top-end speed, RibCor=Flexibility and Range of Motion.

      Yeah! I love that both Bauer and CCM have the fit systems because so many more options open up as us skaters. We can now get a skate that suits our playing style rather than having to buy a skate because that's the one our feet fit.

      He’s talking about the lip on the toe cap for the interchangeable tongues. People were complaining that the lip sits a little too low and can be felt on the top of your toes/forefoot while playing. There are a couple videos or threads online how to fix or modify it. Early reviews say it’s better in the AS-V this time.
