I feel like their personalities match their costumes. Evan totally gives off crazy Eddie vibes, and Chrissy reminds me of Katelyn. 10/10 They'd even look similar if Katelyn had red hair, same face shapes.

Over the Garden Wall is a fall/Halloween must watch. It’s a mini series so you can watch it all at once like a movie. I think it’s only 2 hours or so in total.

Thank you for uploading this. I watched most it live yesterday as I got ready for my Halloween feast inspired by the one in Harry Potter but I had to turn it off when the guests arrived. The finished pumpkins look amazing. I love decorating foam pumpkins for two reasons one you can keep it forever and two you can treasure all the hard work you put into decorating of carving the pumpkin instead of having to throw a real pumpkin away when it rots. This year my husband and I carved Norman from ParaNorman on a foam pumpkin in honor of the 10 year anniversary. We also painted two real pumpkins. I hope you are doing well and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Several years ago I was helping out with a haunted ship and one of the things we made was a whole curtain of googlie eyes. Everyone of us burned our fingers because we were using hot glue. The effect was so cool!

The white spots on pumpkin stems- the vines of pumpkin plants are covered in fine little spikey bits, and after you cut the pumpkin off the plant and the stem dries out, so do the spikey hairs, and they are the white spots!
Evan as Eddie gives me subtle Rocky Horror (Frankenfurter) vibes and I absolutely love it.

Katelyn made a vintage classy, fairly creepy jack 'o-lantern, and Evan made a baby Eldritch horror [or Bloodborne baby boss]... pretty apropos for them, honestly. I think Seemore is my favorite between the two, but Inky is oddly adorable as well

I wasn't a huge fan of Evan's pumpkin until he added that one goofy tooth. Then it suddenly reminded me of something from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
It reminds me of my "happy place" back when life was uncomplicated... I was 6 or 7 when my Mother finally gave in and bought me the mini cooking set.

Long hair and nail polish ftw! My husband has long hair and likes to paint his nails from time to time. I wish he'd do it more often but he has issues with the feel of painted short nails...and he keeps breaking them at work so....my nails are almost always painted. I found painting my nails actually helps keep them from breaking as often. And if you use a glossy topcoat it helps keep the chipping down. I paint once a week due to nail growth and they usually don't chip till the last day.

I did some deco foam pumpkins this year, too. I also made a teeny tiny one for my Barbie.

My cat is a "tent" kitty as well! I always have a blanket draped over my couch for her to climb under and sleep. I've been trying to figure out a way to build a tent over her favorite cat tree in the living room so I can claim my couch back, but I haven't figured out the best way to do this yet.

What would have been really cool is if Evan had drilled holes the size of the different eyes. Out lined with the silicone , let it set up for a minute then put the eyes on. That way a light would shine through all the holes. (Maybe)

Katelyn a cool idea: cut a slash from the stem down the side of the head and make it look like spiders are crawling into the crack.

oh oh oh! i love that you did the dark wash thing. i have white chalk paint for waxy/high gloss items like that. a thin layer of chalk paint sticks well and works as a base for the dark wash! sanding always helps as well
the chalk paint gives it a really nice boney texture too. i usually do this with skeletons but i figure this would work for foam pumpkins too
