all the episodes from this point onwards are a rollercoaster of emotions so cannot wait for your reaction to this!
The re-akumatising of Marinette's immediate family is only of mild interest in this episode, with the key plot point essentially being "Tikki goes rogue." It was revealed what can happen if she uses her powers on her own, prompted in this case by a sudden obsession (not for the first time, if Plagg is to be believed) with sugary substances.
On that note, this episode touched upon an interesting bit of lore that has already been explored to some extent in this show. Any Miraculous can be used for good or evil, as shown especially in the New York Special when the Eagle Miraculous was used firstly by a villain and secondly by a hero. The user makes the choices and invokes the powers for good or evil purposes, but it can sometimes leave you wondering where the Kwami fits into all that - surely they are complicit in the good or evil deeds as much as the user? Tikki's behaviour here suggests that in fact the Kwami is neutral when it comes to morality. She created a massive galette that nearly destroyed Paris, yet this act had no evil intent: it was simply to satisfy her intense craving for sweets at that moment. (You could argue that creating the galette was selfish, and that selfish behaviour takes no account of the consequences to others, of course....) It's easy to think of Creation as being a good power and of Destruction as an evil one, but this episode showed how blurry the lines between those can be: Creation gives us nature, life, food, and much else, but it can also give us things that threaten and kill horribly; likewise, Destruction causes us loss, but can also end the existence of things that are bad.
Between that moral maze, and that revelation that Shadowmoth has mutated his akumas (almost like a virus, you could say) into a variant that can break through Ladybug's magical charms, this episode sets up some intriguing plot lines for the rest of season 4. "Dearest Family" is definitely a moment of calm (relatively speaking) before the storm, yet it foreshadows much that will be significant before long!

Actually kinda did, funnily enough. Remember in Prime Queen when Ladybug fell on Cat Noir and he purred?
Also, unlike Tikki, Plagg is exposed to cheese all the time, enough to control his urges better.
Did anybody else notice tikki true form? It’s that humanoid silhouette when she says lucky charm.😮 you will see this referenced again in the last episode of season five

This episode reminds us of an important point in the show. The Kwamis are living embodiments of different aspects of the universe. They are essentially living infinity stones.
Her family: it's too dangerous to ride a motorcycle!
Also Marinette: fights a bunch of super villains daily.

Dieser Moment wenn die reaction um 23 Uhr Premiere hat und man um 21 Uhr schlafen gehen muss und am nächsten Morgen sehr wenig Zeit hat und rein theoretisch bis nach dem nächsten Schultag warten muss da man das Video erst 7,5 bis 14,5 später sehen kann 😅
Und man dann auf die nächste reaction auf die man sich sogar noch mehr freut noch länger warten muss 😅
Aber das schlimmste ist dass Ich noch immer auf den Miraculous Staffel 5 Release warten muss 😭
Why does she say she knows tiki better than anyone… When tiki lived in the miracle box for hundreds of thousands of years with the other Khamis I’m pretty sure the Kwami’s know her better
