55:41 - I just imagine the captain of that Munificent was just screaming at CIS C&C, "They're coming from behind!" And being refused to be allowed to break off the attack on the main fleet to deal with the squad of Arquetans.
No doubt this will go down as a brilliant tactical move by Yuleran. Palpatine's Fire Brigade should get honorary patches for this battle. Maybe even be able to shake the Supreme Chancellor's hand at a ceremony. A ceremony full of long-winded speeches by pompus Senators while Chancellor Palpatine keeps his own comments short and to the point.
Creamy Shive knows his audience and that military men have little patience for blowhard political posturing.

Those walkers originally show up in the OG Clone Wars game. They are quite fun. They come with a rapid firing laser cannon, a mortar launcher, and a shield generator.
Ozzel's sheer cowardice and worminess allowed him to wriggle back in time and to deflect CIS aggression toward a Republic planet he wasn't on. Incredible.
Gotta love the added minute details they did to have the laser blasts originate from the actual turrets.
My headcannon for the save thing is a time inversion happened. No one knows how but one day time jumped back and everyone had knowledge of the other sides actions since the hop. Only a fool would have make the same attack twice so of course the CIS would have to make a different plan.
So with that bit of Miss time let's just pretend it was a force vision that Yoda had and you were warned ahead of time

I like to think the ozzle situation is a story he made up about a last stand he made valiantly fighting seperatist forces so he would be promoted for the future in the empire. What better way than to make up a story when no one cares about back water worlds? Even the records of that era where kind of hit and miss.
loving this playthrough I haven't watched your channel since the OG skyrim playthrough and the intro gives me such nostalgia
27:00 Ummm... she does have one special ability- It's called a "shoto" and it's a nod to a traditional Japanese fighting style where the samurai would use two swords, one much shorter than the other. The shorter blade would be used to parry and deflect incoming blows to create openings for quick slashes at fatal body parts with the long sword.
...I couldn't help it.
The Providence is a crap design;
The top of that tower is NOT the bridge, just an observation deck (where in EPIII the fight between Dooku and Anakin/Obi-Wan happened);
the bridge is housed in the front of that protrusion on the upper hull (where they "visited" Grievous and he crashed a window to flee).
So they added a massive structure, probably weakening the hull in that area, put more strain on the shield generators because they now have a much larger area to protect and that spindly tower likely needs much more shielding because it can't have much armor (given it's physical size) and while there are no weapons up there the tower gets in the way of the firing arcs of some hull mounted laser cannons creating blind spots which need to be covered by additional turrets.
Cut it off, add plating to that spot instead and install another turbolaser battery, much better ship overall.
Edit: The mystery fleet was the retreating ships from the previous battle...
You should get tier 5 stations and the build able defense golan 2 along with a hypervolace cannon on ground everywhere that the cis can attack to make them pay

We love to see more Fall of the Republic. I think the mystery ships came from the retreat at Mustafar. Hoping you build a few more squads for anakin before attacking Mustafar haha.
Oh i am just sitting here waiting for the next installment. I love having this play in the background while I drive. Id play but my OS is bricked

The only problem with not bringing a command ship is often times the enemy runs away before you get to them, and also prevents you from making a powerful alpha strike on a particular ship you may want dead.
Edit: Wanted to add, i really HATE that "cinematic cam" as about 90% of the time you don't see anything, follows nothing and gives you no strategic perspective. Really hate seeing it.

Hilarious how you keep saying, oh I need to set up the scout/vanguard unit... Then proceed to look at the fleet on the map without any incoming or battle then not assign a scout/vanguard.
Heck I usually try and leave a token orbital defense fleet of some ships to deter ground landings on held territories and when there is a fleet that comes through, just hit retreat and youre good.
Like, some fighters and a picket ship i mean
