Given the recently finished Morrowind let's play, I cant help getting a "With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created" vibe from this save game XD

One thing to take note of in the pre-battle UI when you encounter an enemy fleet or vice versa. The size of the stack under their "flagship" denotes how meaty their force is. So even if you can't see their numbers exactly you'll know they came to curb stomp you. Perfect example 48:20.
We'll just say that rather than Dave forgetting he can retreat from land battles, Kit Fisto ignored the order to retreat and stayed with his troops to fight. And died as a consequence.
25:22 is Such a nice shot of overwhelming firepower
It'd be nice if there was some kind of notification or countdown or whatever when the enemy is taking the victory point in planetary battles, I feel you got shafted a bit there. Still, I do honestly enjoy the fact you're getting your arse kicked as in my opinion it makes the victories mean so much more and is just more fun to watch. Great stuff!
Separatists made a big brain move losing all their units and heroes yet still taking the planet…
well the point turns the color of the invader force on the ground and in the mini map its just slow to turn said color and people often have more pressing issues

At some point in the future I may get this game. To me, the invincible class are more esthetically pleasing because they look more functionally correct than the triangular designs.
ARCs can't take cover because their egos are so large, no structure or terrain feature in the galaxy can properly eclipse them.

Yeah I don't know what's going on with your save, if it really is on cruel admiral idk if you're gonna win, cause from everything I've heard cruel admiral is stupid hard. But I'm also not very good so I have never played on any level of cruel AI. Very fun series and love the intros.
P.S. on Land Battles you can just use control+a to select everything if you're trying to pull everything together for a defense

I'd try to take Barlok. It's isolated from the other Separatist controlled systems and Coburn is right there.

So in the previous version, there was that choice between undermining Palpatine vs backing him, and the canon outcome as chosen. Has Palpatine’s dictatorship been assured by the start of this campaign?
@@rmcgowa1987 - Right. I was just wondering if the choice would be presented at all since it’s a later start date
... and that's why you always bunker up a VP; it's in the middle of nowhere by design to make it harder to defend, but with all those turrets you could have secured it much better.
Actually goes for all strategy games with that mechanic, I take it you never played Dawn of War or Company of Heroes.

Skyrim, yes. Idris, no. That's a character from a playthrough I did 10 years ago. Frankly I don't remember much of it, let alone want to resurrect that character.

Who will fisto our enemies now
Seeing Grievous just completely body Kit Fisto strikes me as BS, the gearbrain is way too powerful in this mod.
Fisto was one of the only Jedi ever to beat Yoda in a duel, no way he'd lose to Grievous.
@@Kr0noZ true enough, though relative power levels in Star Wars have always been pretty arbitrary. SWTCW had that episode where Grievous lost to a bunch of gungans 🤷♀️
