QK60 R3 | Quick Build & Typing Test

Hey y’all!
Wanted to share a quick build video I did recently. This is the QK60 R3 & I really do love this little board. Still a great board in 2024 and I hope for quite a while to come haha.
I originally picked this up to try out the HHKB layout & then it kinda morphed into me wanting to do a coffee themed build. I think it turned out pretty well!
I will say the only part of the build I don’t care for is the 7U spacebar from Milkyway. It just sounds super hollow and pingy compared to the rest of the keys. Unsure if this is specially the keycap or an issue with the QK60.
I used BSUN Milk Tea switches for this one and while they still sound okay and feel pretty decent. I think they’re a tad weaker than BSUN’s other offering. I’d love to eventually get some Iced Latte switches for this board.
