For a little more info about me and my background I am from the midwest. I'm a Husband and Father. I currently work in the medical device industry as a machinist. I have been doing this for almost 10 years now and I absolutely love it, but keyboards are really my passion.
Discovering them has really brought out a side of me that I forgot I had. Keyboards let me express myself not only with their aesthetics, but their sound. I hope through this channel you can find some passion for keebs or maybe just learn a little something here and there!

Forever65 | Gateron x Swagkeys Deepings | Typing Test
Alright Round 2 of the Forever spam! This may be contender for my favorite configuration(s) of this board so far.
Today we're rocking the Gateron x Swagkeys Deeping switches and man do these thing HIT. I really loved them when I first initially reviewed them a while back and it's good to know that my feelings haven't changed. I still love them every bit as I did the first time I used them.

Gateron × Swagkeys Deeping's
• Switch Type: Linear
• Top Housing: Nylon
• Bottom Housing: Nylon
• Stem: POM (13.15mm Length)
• Spring: 18mm
• Pre-travel: 2.0mm
• Total Travel: 3.7mm
• Bottom-Out: 58g
Price: $0.75 per switch
So I'm using the Long Variant of this switch in both configurations today. On Pom I really really love the mods ano spacebar. The mods have just the touch of deepness and creamy sound that I really like on my modifiers. The spacebar Is just HOT it really PUNCHES through and lets itself be heard which l'm a big fan of. I love contrasting sounds in my builds.
The alphas are a bit weaker here on the pom though imo.
On Carbon Fiber the alphas sound incredible! Truly it's such a satisfying clean and clacky sound profile that it makes me wanna keep typing on it. The spacebar is nice and deep surprisingly, but has a bit of a wonky sound profile haha. Not quite sure if I like it or not.
The Deepings can be picked up through LoobedSwitches, Divnikey, & Swagkeys. Though currently only DiviniKey and Swagkeys have them in stock.

depends on the board, xinhais in most cases. but i just built a pc array that needed neons to overcome the deep case
They are very close for me personally, I’ve used the Neons more tho bc I prefer the heavier spring weight. Xinhai’s are really good tho and have a great sound. I’ll have to try the heavier springs in them.

Sounds great! How full does it sound on aluminum?
It’s a tad bit more poppy! Especially the spacebar.

@@SaleemAbounaag2006 I personally would say I enjoy these a tad more then recent HMX switches. Kinda burnt on them atm haha.

Not really a fan of sub legends on the alphas as it confuses me. I find my eyes wandering a bit lol but those keycaps not gonna lie look cool.

sounds good! how does it feel? 62.5g is too heavy for me. my sweet spot is 45~50g
Feels really good for me! I personally like my springs between 57-62. I type HEAVY 😂
@@RandomKeebs I am somewhere in between light and heavy. I work from home so being in front of the computer for ~8hrs must have a comfortable typing experience at least.

I want to like this board especially with the GMK bundle. But I can't stand WKL. :(
I don’t mind the WKL as much as I thought I would, but I need to get an Alu plate for this haha. I am not a fan of polycarbonate plate.
@@RandomKeebs I take screenshots all the time and it's all muscle memory. I don't look at the keys. But aesthetically I like the board.

Did you have issues about daughterboard or batter?
So the issue I had was that the BT daughterboard didn't work if trying to use BT mode. Worked fine in Wired mode tho.

Knight Stabilizers from Swagkeys! Best Screw-in Stabs imo.
What is your top and bottom case config for the kei v2?
I went Alu on both. Top is Noren Blue and bottom is white, but both are Alu.

Did you have any issues with the magnets on yours?
I did not have issues with the magnets on my unit, but I’ve seen that several people have. My only issue was the Bluetooth Daughterboard and the fact that it didn’t work.

No this is completely stock. I didn’t take anything out or tweak anything. Just opened it up and started typing.

This is just with plate foam. No PE/Case foam.
Have you tried the Bsun Hutts? If so how do you feel they compare to these
I haven’t tired the BSUN Hutts yet, but they are on my list. BSUN has been killing it lately.
What stabs are you using?
I am using TX AP clip-in Stabs for this build. I highly recommend their screw-ins tho as they are quite good.
What switches
Using Gazzew Boba LT’s for this one.
