LEGIT! I will sometimes literally change into "basically dirty clothes" just to get the cooking out of the way. It's the same when I'm painting or gardening. I remember my ex complained post-breakup that I never "dressed up" for him when he came home from work, and I pointed out that I was busy doing household chores like taking care of the garden and cooking... and he just didn't connect the two dots there. sigh.. oh well

I think the issue with Nara smith is people assume she cooks everything from scratch every time, because THAT would be unrealistic. But she’s probably like normal people and does the cooking from scratch then does fast food some days. Like you said, she’s making content not documenting her life!!
It’s not unrealistic though, my little cousin has a gluten allergy and his mom makes everything from scratch
i mean she literally shows when they order takeout or get fast food, she's never claimed to always cook from scratch, although it seems like she just enjoys it
There’s another YT Chanel like Nara. She cooks from scratch from her farm. But she has also admitted that those videos she makes from scratch are once every two weeks. Because it is too time consuming to cook from scratch for an entire family every single day.

Just an fyi! Nara has an autoimmune disease which is why she cooks most of the food she eats from scratch, so she can monitor her triggers. What works for some won’t work for all :)

I do however want to defend Nara a bit since she is getting so much flag for no reason at all. (Your video is more satire based and therefore fine in my book. But many people straight up bash her online)
So first of Nara is not a Trad wife nor has she ever claimed to be one or promoted other women to be one.
She gets so much flag for being a trad wife when she has a full blown career as a model. She simply does social media on the side. Her husband helps her cook in many videos does their kids hair etc. They are very much a power couple. He is also a model. They met on a photoshoot even.
I'm a longtime follower of her way before she got all the recent backless.
She stated so many times that her videos do not reflect her everyday life or how she cooks all the time. She just likes to cook elaborate things.
Because of this new weave of people promoting a trad lifestyle. Anybody that even does something that may seem 'trad' gets pushed into this weird redpill tradwife space. She is just making fun loving content. So a lot of the hate is uncalled for.
Being dressed up while cooking crazy things is part of her gimmick. All influencers have a gimmick.
She is just living her life. And figuered out a way to generate more views for her cooking videos.
People also act as if she is pushing a certain life style, while stating that others that don't cook like her etc, etc are less than.
She does not.

I think the funniest thing about the whole Nara Conversation is that she ISN’T A STAY AT HOME WIFE!!!!! She is a content created and a model and she clearly works really hard for those videos 😂 and the reason she can do that, is because her husband shares the burden of kids etc. with her! She isn’t at home not making money, cooking is her job! The only difference between her and other cooking content creators is that she feeds it to her family

It's possible but it's social media. everyone shares the pretty parts only lol (I'm your sourdough baking follower btw) I make yogurt breads jams and homeschool. I make things in big batches freeze and can things so I'm not in the kitchen all day. Also alimony is a thing!! Lol I've gained many skills as a stay at home wife and totally wish those things held more validity on a resume though 😂 but I'd have it no other way... we should be able to raise our own children and live off of one income... we should be able to trust and feel supported by our partners... idk this shouldn't be idealistic but I get that it's so rare
