on JackSucksAtGeography we upload a range of easy to watch geography related games. We mainly play Sporcle games like "naming all 197 countries". I successfully learned all 197 countries and plan to learn more Geography trivia. On this channel I also play Geoguessr. This is a game that uses Google Street View to drop you in a random location and you have to work out exactly where you are on the worldwide map. Geoguessr was created in 2013. If you want to see more from Jack he uploads different content to many other CZcams channels, linked above!

Just in case anyone was confused, no *you* can't drive through the channel tunnel.
You can go through by train only, but there is a service tunnel that the employees driv up when needed.
To be fair you can get from the UK to France through the Channel tunnel and never leave your car. Not technically driving for all of it, but I can see how people might slip and call it that.
oh ok i just tried to figure out when and how the cars change the side of the road they are driving on
I went to the UK trought that tunnel
I don't know why, but "That's not a mountain! That's just a man looking at his phone, stood next to quite an underwhelming water fountain!" got me good.

6 year old me when my parents explained Brexit to me I thought the UK was literally moving out of Europe to somewhere else. And is as like when are they moving and my parents and in a few years cos they need to prepare so I pictured everyone in the UK packing up everything. And then everyone would get into the sea and push until they were far away from europe. They could have just explained it properly.

Iâm guessing that the reason Europe has so many battles is because they were the main people to record their history whereas there mightâve been many battles between natives in western America but it just wasnât recorded

We actually had a war in Australia that was fought between an army of actual people and emus. Search it up, it is real and kinda crazy to think that it is a part of Australian history.
And I swear the humans technically lost
@@tableprinterdoor oh, no they just straight up lost, pretty sure emus are still a problem in some parts
As if we didnât know that lol
That is very interesting
@@WaitingForRevolution no. Emus are endangered so most of them are being took care in zoos all around Australia. 0:05 did u realise that the sea was made of tomato sauce
6:34 also, I think non-water-birds aren't very good at navigating through sea winds and unpredictable weather over oceans. Another possibility.
8:28
Fun fact: Bouvet Island uses a flag identical to the Norwegian flag
Because it is a "Norwegian uninhabited protected nature reserve." Which I honestly did not know until I searched it up because of your comment. XD

Jack you NAILED the pronunciation on Melaka (Malacca), as a Malaysian I am extremely proud of you, english man!
He also seems to have gotten the pronunciation of Bouvet Island correct too, since it's named after a French sailor.

6:28 actually because of the water absorbing heat there is less upwards push from the hot air rising. Therefore it takes more energy for the birds to fly over it.
I don't think it has to do with sitting down or grabbing a snack . To my knowledge birds that travel long distance don't really eat or rest
I frequently look at my mug of tea and remind myself that water has a high heat capacity

5:15 come to Australia, there is a road named cumming road, a place named Cockburn (pronounced coburn). (These are just places that I have seen). You can also go to Disapointment island near New Zealand, wich is close to a mountain named mt.dick

i love how Jack thinks we can just put the Mediterranean on top of Australia
With enough effort, we definitely can't do that.

If you are looking for interesting places to visit in the future there is a place in New Zealand called "Taumata-whakatangi-hangakoauau-o-tamatea-turi-pukakapiki-maunga-horo-nuku-pokai-whenua-kitanatahu", which translates into English as "the place where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, who slid, climbed and swallowed mountains, known as 'landeaterâ, played his flute to his loved one."
