In Flaggle 4:25 the reason there were crosses is because on the Scotland guess the white and blue border on the flag combines in small areas to create the light blue on Palau’s flag. Also in flaggle whenever I play I usually guess China first since it has the most red and red is the most used color in flags. Same with Cyprus and Scotland.
yes, it's because of anti-aliasing
Yea
Why did it happen for Denmark though? Antialiasing for red and white should cause pink, not light blue
@@itsNatalieAtLeast Because Denmark is straight lines.
If you open Paint on you computer and trace one very straight line and one diagonal, you'll see the same thing happening.
Yeah this is kind of neat but also kind of a bug.
Partly it’s because the easy way to do Flaggle is to rasterise the flags and compare them pixel by pixel, rather than doing actual vector-vector intersections which are… pretty complicated.
5:20 lmao that is Pablo Escobar with his son in front of The White House.
Thx for helping with my geography
He helped me learn geography too
Same
jacks making me want to learn all the flags
Jack is the reason I know all the flags of Europe
Samesies
0:58, Worldle shows the distance from a country's centre to another countries centre. Hence, North Korea seemed to 494km away from South Korea though they border as it is the distance between the centre of the countries. The borders of Japan and China are also close, but since China is a huge country, its centre is far away. Hope you find this information helpful.
Center*
@@ender5312im pretty it's center in American English and centre in British English.
I think it's from the country's capital !. ❗

Asking for a india states video
11:00 no context moment
Tip: When you are doing flaggle, type countries with lots of colour on the flag like South africa and the Seychelles. It could give u a idea of the colors of the randomized flag.
I always start with Mauritius because it has 4 stripes that are all different colours
Yup, I always do South Africa fist and usually get it correct on the second try :)
Thanks
Yea I always start with the Seychelles
i use france as the beginning one. it weirdly helps
5:27 He actually was in front of the White house literally when he was the most searched person in the world
5:33 yes, this is the white house
Jack trying to say Goa is so funny
"goo ya " lol
As an Indian all of his pronunciations were so very funny
@@sahabhi-py6mn very true
@@sahabhi-py6mn true
Well I’m not Indian and I would like to know how to pronounce it Goa.❤
Jack is the pure reason I pass my geography tests 😂
Same lol
Lol!🤣
(I will be editing this message as i watch the video)Jack, good tip for some of the _le games is that, when the distance looks far(like 800km), its usually really close. But, this isn't for every game, so it won't work all the time.
Also, for Flaggle, try countries such as South Africa. It has a lot of colours, so it'll make it easier to identify which colours are part of the correct flag.
In Flaggle, you will sometimes stumble upon that thin strip. This usually is a mix of the two colours as it formed from Flaggle's resolution thing. So, when you did the flags with white and red, the mix of them was light blue.(I have no idea how that happened though as red and white make pink)
Also, Jack, knowledge of the Overseas Territories will come real handy when doing these games as these territories CAN appear and even their flags can. This also means ALMOST EVERY Overseas Territory, not just the British ones(which I know you've learnt).
In Globle: Capitals, when it says "warmer" or "cooler", it refers to the previous capital, not the closest. This is the same for Globle.
Also the creators of Worldle have made USA versions of both Worldle, called Statele and Wheretaken, called Wheretaken USA. I can't really think of any other good geography games.
7:39 - it's Lake Bled in Slovenia and it's breathtaking beautiful! I once visited with my family on our camping trip to Croatia, but unfortunately everything was fully booked for the night in Bled.. But we did take a break there, and I must say I've never seen anything like that
Well, as of 2024, I’m going to Europe this year and my mom wants to go to Italy and I want to go to Greece, we’ll take a boat from Italy to Greece and maybe we could travel to Slovenia later!
10:50
Praia
Capital of Cape Verde
Jack: So praria is the capital of Cape verde
I really like just watching jack play random geography things because that’s what I do when am bored a lot of the time (after watching Jack)
We r twins lmao
Love these type of vids! Thank you so much for helping me know all of the countries in the world!
you’ve helped me so much with geography like i didn’t even know belgium existed before this
4:16 i was holsing in screaming ITS PALAU while he was saying "what has a yellow circle'
1:00 I think it’s from capital to capital
Yes!!! I love Jacksucksatgeography and Wordle and Geography games so this is just an amazing video all around
Love these geography vids! You inspired me to learn countries of the world and now I can and I’m very happy!
Same !!
Me three
i cant tell you how many times i screamed palau
Jack will do anything than learn all the capitals of the world 😂😂😂😂
I play most of these games every day, and my first guess is always the mystery country of the previous game I played. I always start with Worldle since I can usually guess first try from the outline.
I have played globle and worldle everyday for a couple of years, and more recently an app called Seterra too. At the start my geography was pretty bad but now my average score on globle is around 3.8 guesses. That's over about 300 games (since I changed my phone last year) so didn't include the period when I was improving. My strategy is to always start with the same country, and using the zoom I can work out the distances and use triangulation. Worldle is fun but once you know the countries is quite easy. Playing both is great for learning anyway.
Love these videos! After having a bad day, it is always awesome to see Jack upload!
YESS I love these videos, keep them coming! i now know all the flags and countries of the world with the help of you Jack 😊
I feel there is little chance you may see this yourself, but at the request of my 5 year old, I’m trying to reach out to say…you are idolized by my little man and because of you; he has learned so much about Geography and the love has just grown. 😊He watches your videos all day everyday and can now tell anyone willing to listen, all about the world! His knowledge at just 5 years old has now far surpassed my own. It’s more of than an interest for him, it’s an obsession now. ❤️ Thank you for inspiring my boy!
You were the person that got me into geography.❤🎉😊Thanks!
as an Indian Iaughed so much in this part
12:08
Jack is literally the reason I know all the flags
Thxs for giving me the interest in geography and I now know all 197 flags and 50 county flags out of like 565
Keep up the good work!! You are my favorite channel
0:53 its probably the distance between the both capitals
No it's not 😂, it's the centre of each country otherwise Japan and China would be alot closer but because China is so vast it's center is really far from Japan
Hi Jack I remember doing some of these a couple days back
Also I think the faint lines on Flaggle are just the white and blue being close together, so it registers at a light blue in those areas.
People are learning from you learning in these videos! Keep it up! 🙌
Let’s goooo the games I’ve been waiting for
Worldle videos are so entertaining! Love this kind of videos Jack 🌏
Jack, you could do a video about a Sporkle quiz where you need to guess all the languages spoken in Europe!
4:37 I basically always start with Sweden. It's a very good starting point.
North and South Korea were 494 km away because it measures the distance between their capital cities.
Jack do you sleep like z z z or zed zed zed
Im serieus
I always start with the Netherlands in Flaggle because a lot of countries have red white or blue in their flag and Netherlands just has a standard tricolor flag that would be easy to use in Flaggle.
I do seychelles
@@killianobrien2007 same
I do Antarctica
in the flaggle bit if you zoom in super close on the flag you can see light blue pixels or yellow which is why it shows up as green
Jack I appreciate the vids because it helped me with my Highschool AP human geography class
You taught me 99 percent of the geography I know thank you
SAME!!!!!!!!
The amount of random geography I have ever gained from this channel is more than my geography teacher could ever teach me
There is another Flagle I play that doesn’t just turn it green, but keeps the right part of the flag that color. It also adds any other guesses on top of the others.
Love the videos, Jack. Keep it up!!!
10:55 of course you had to mispronounce it.
I enjoy when Jack plays all these different geography games. Also I think these will be made into shorts at some point
In Flaggle, the colours do correctly line up. The reason why there was a yellow cross is because that was the only yellow that appeared in both the flags of Jamaica and Palau - Jamaica doesn't have that full circle. It might have shown better on a flag with more yellow in the central area of the flag (but ik its off-centre) like Romania/Chad.
Started playing Flaggle and my strat is to just guess Seychelles first every time bc the variety of colors and simple design give a lot of info

This is great for me, new games to play! I’ve done every quiz on jetpunk that is geography related so I started giving up but thI we are so fun!
I usually do DRC as my first guess for global since it’s quite big and very central in Africa
Jack should learn the capitals of the world 🌎
IT’S GO-AH not Goya in 12:15
Yeah and the way he pronounced Chennai 😂
The reason it shows crosses on the scotland and the uk flag is because in between the two colors it mixes to make a slightly brighter color of blue that is the same color of palau's flag
Ty for showing me these amazing games
I'm so dumb, I mixed up pablo escabar and fidel castro. I was so confused. I'm @11:23 in the video and just realized....

Love seeing you do challenges
I’ve been learning about countries and flag 4 three months because of you!
these videos are amazing can we plz see a series on city skylines!!
as you asked you've not done statele yet. for globle I like to start in Egypt as that quite a nice fairly central place to start
Hi! Jack i love your vids! Keep up the work!
jack i dont know if you are aware of the site or if youve been avoiding it for unclear reasons but Jetpunk is a big mostly geography based quiz site that i use daily
In the flaggle, where the blue and white combine was classified as light blue, meaning it appears correct even though there are no crosses in the flag of Palau.
I loved it do more of these
The transition between the dark blue of the United Kingdom and Scotland flags and the white of their stripes is what causes that "Cross" issue, as it's slightly lighter blue between the White and Dark blue, mimicking Palau's blue colour 4:18
I learnt more countries because of you.THANK YOU
Thanks Jack for inspiring me to do a daily country profile project!
You are the reason I know everything about flags and geography thx ❤😊
For the flag games, I always start with Seychelles since so many colours, and then if it isn’t obvious then Mauritius after for same reason
9:11 Bratyslava joke
I always start with Malta. I just like the looks of Malta so that's why I start there.
jack... when you were playing the flaggle, there is a thin strip between white and blue where the colors mix and form a little bit of light blue
Love if this guy upload
next time u do this, try travle aswell, really cool concept
Explordle!!!!! It has a similar vibe to geo guesser, but this one gives you answers to pick from!
I learned geography/history by drew durnil but i learned all of the flags and capitals by jack. Ty for jack and drew.
I was hoping to get a video like this.
I'm happy now :)
It also counts borders with other nations
Best Strategy for flaggle is using a Seychelles, it has many colours, and their direction is diagonal, so you can see if the flag has lines with a colour of the seychelles, no matter its direction
I LOVE UR VIDS HOPE YOU HIT 2 MILLION SOON!
Play travle. You have to link the two starting countries by guessing the names of those in-between without a map and limited guesses
7:34 I was so shocked when i saw this! I have literally been to slovenia a bit ago and when I saw this I instantly recognized it!
More of these!!!
for flaggle my go to is to always start with the seychelles flag, a fail safe start every time hahaha

For the flagle I think that the cross is there because the flagle has light and dark blue as seppret colours and the white and d-blue combined in to l-blue
