I love how Greenland just says no data so often that when it was in a grey color for safari in the first one he just thought it was no data
Yeah
I think it’s because that a lot of it is mixed in with the Danish data.
Denmark is green and Greenland is gray

Jack, the Faroe Islands is territory of Denmark. The Norwegian territory close to it is Jan Mayen

What about svalbard? It’s also a part of Norway and Jan Mayen.

Idk, but recently the temps have been like 20°C, 21°C, 22°C, 23°C, 24°C, 25°C and so on...
The empty part of the US is what is generally called the Intermountain region. It includes the Rocky mountain chain as well as the land between the rockies and the western ranges (Sierra Nevada and Cascades). There's a lot of desert in that Intermountain region, although in the northern part it's not as extreme as in the Sonora desert of Az and north Mexico. The idaho. Part is, in fact heavily farmed thanks to the Snake River and its tributaries. The Great Basin states are pretty much heavily desertified since not only are they cut off from significant rainfall from the west by the Sierras, but most of it except for along the Colorado River has no oceanic drainage outlets. Instead they tend to feed some inland basins, IIRC the official term is endoheric or something like that, the most priest one being Utahs Great Salt Lake. Another major one in west central Nevada is the Carson sink, where any streams in those areas sink below the alkali flats.

That languages map really did Australia dirty. If they’d looked into Indigenous land claims and languages the country would be so much more diverse
It doesn't look that accurate even for Europe
They forgot a lot of minority languages in Europe as well like sami and low german and the languages should reach over the borders
@@valentinaciccarelli7228 same with India

2:16 The map is basically just, if you got caught by the police in that country, which country would you get deported to, so for example if you got caught in China they would send you straight back to North Korea, but If you get caught in Japan they will send you to South Korea instead of the north.
Thanks
And if you get caught in Malaysia you get deported to the US for some reason.
Still wonderin why malaysia sends you to the us

1:28 New Zealand is on level 3 because at the moment getting in and out of the country involves a really long and complicated process to keep Covid out of the country
Ah, I see. Jolly ‘Rona.
Ah yeah, I forgot covid would play some role in this map… so what’s the deal with Mexico being purple 🤔
@@TomGibson. Because so many people from the US go to Mexico and go to different parts of Mexico for different reasons (people visiting family everywhere, people doing business in Mexico City, vacationers going to Cancun), they don't want to label it one category. You have to go to website and see what the category is for the place you are going (and they provide different information even then depending on what you are doing).
in what. Traffic lights or lvls? Probably traffic lights system
Oh, I didn’t realise it was considering how hard it would be to get into the country. Because if you can get into New Zealand you’ll have a great time. I feel like the way New Zealand is labelled is deceiving.

It's a shame the language map doesn't include the hundreds of Indigenous languages in Australia - sadly many of these languages are no longer spoken but many or any people, but there are a lot of First Nations Australians who do speak the languages of their ancestors and pass them down to their communities. More non-Aboriginal Australians would do well to learn more about the traditional languages of the land we live on, including me!
Same with India. South India is way more complicated than shown in the map.

The map of Africa puzzle seems to be of Danish or Norwegian origin. Some of the labels contain the letter "Ø" which is only present in these (major) languages. Also, the label "Ekvator" for the Equator is a further hint, because both Danish and Norwegian like to turn "qu" into "kv".
It is Norwegian. Released by Damm, who was/is a Norwegian publisher.
