10:03 Jack, in Poland w is pronounced a v - 'e' is pronounced like how you pronounce it in 'bed'. It's not 'loo'... However with Lion the w at the end has a bit of an 'f' mixed into it.
10:50 - again, it's a v sound not a w. And an o with a line above it is pronounced 'oo' (but not in the same way as English, like you did in lew, hard to describe)
On an easier memory technique for this German learner, when you read Polish pronounce it as if it were German, and it should be about right.

If referring to the political entity, it includes the entirety of England, Scotland and Wales, as said in the video. But if you refer to the geographical entity it refers to only the largest island, so it omits Isle of Wight, Anglesey, Hebrides etc. that are part of the political entity of Great Britain.
