    It worked!! i signed out then signed back in and it worked. Connect your car to your Personal Hotspot and it popped up!❀

    I just got a used 2020 Ford Explorer, ST and the Ford pass is not working and I’ve tried everything except to pull the fuse or disconnect, the positive cable on the battery when I go into my settings under connectivity connected. Vehicle features is not an option for me but yeah, I guess we’ll try to disconnect the cable and see if that helps. Car was a buyback and it did say that there was an issue with the sink so I’m thinking it never got fixed before they re-sold.

    Issues here too. Just git my 2023 Transit 350 AWD with SYNC4 and stays on "activation pending" and would never connect.
    I have tried everything here and what I was told by ford and nothing.
    Also Connected Vehicle Features under Connectivity wont load options .
    Also when I select Navigation on the Transit theres no options at all to add an address or look up anything. I wonder if it only works with ford pass.
    All I have for now is apple car play. I hope I get a solution to this.

    I have a2020 f350 xlt . It's asking for approval from a authorized user to approve my activation request. Is this something from the previous owner that needs to do or ?

    Nel mio caso dovrebbe essere il fusibile 11 per il tcu... L'officina non riesce ad aggiornare il modem ha provato in diversi modi effettuando diverse diagnostiche, credi che scollegare il fusibile 11 nella mia ford focus st 2019 e riprovare a ricollegarlo potrebbe essere la soluzione ad effettuare tali aggiornamenti e a collegarmi al fordpass? Grazie

    My ford pass stopped working 10/29/21 and i have tried everything to get it to work including everything you listed minus the connectivity portion. Countless calls and troubleshoots 3 separate dealers have all told me they dont know how to fix it. I want to cry if were being honest. I have done a soft reset, master reset, ford pass reset which all result in an error even opening the connectivity sittings. I removed my vehicle from the app and now i can not activate it. I have un installed the app. Pulled the fuse for the TCU for 5 mins before reinstalling. I definitely know more about this now than i did going in but i still dont know how to restore these functions. Car hotspot is down also. Please and thank you -2020 expedition owner SWMS

    Ford fusion 2019. The app stopped working and I've done everything but take it to the dealership and nothing gets it to work. Even called the contact number on the app. They couldn't get it to work. Any suggestions? No longer under warranty and guy at dealership says around $100 and something just to get it looked at. 🙄

    I recently purchased a 2020 Ford edge from a local Ford dealer. I have not been successful in activating the Ford pass to it. I've contacted Ford pass. I've taken it back to Ford and they say everything is working fine and it's not throwing any codes. Any ideas what this could be? Or potential next steps? They said they're gonna have to call someone higher up and get back to me in 3-5 days.. multiple phones have tried still with no luck.

    Just got 2023 F150. I can't open "Connected Vehicle Features" under "Connectivity". I've tried soft reset, factory reset, the tried pulling SYNC fuse, then pulled battery cable. None worked. How about this: How about Ford don't put out products that they can't make work properly. "We have all of this technology folks....its great, except we don't know how to make it work". Fail.

      Having the exact same issue. Did all the reset steps and it still doesn’t work. Won’t connect to my home WiFi anymore either.

      @@TheJuan7210 I finally got a hold of customer service. They told me (and this fit my problem description to a T) "2023 F-150s and Broncos have an issue right now, where you can connect Ford Pass once, and it works for a few days, then disconnects, and then you can't re-connect under any circumstances. We are aware of it, and we hope to have it fixed by early February 2023. " And that is EXACTLY what happened. I set up, it was connected for a few days and then lost connectivity and no amount of "trouble-shooting" will fix it. It's something on Ford's end. It was nice to hear them actually have an answer. I'm still frustrated with everything in society that only works if "synced" or "connected", because it seems that everything at some point loses sync or connection. I told someone...the day is coming when you won't be able to poop if WiFi or cloud connection is lost. Someday...I could see the entire waste water system be "connected and monitored" , and then it will lose connection and toilets won't flush, water won't run etc. Don't laugh. Think about where we were 40 years ago, then 20, then 10. Now, if "connection is lost", you can't buy groceries even if they have them because they can't scan/find prices/control inventory, etc. So if connectivity goes down, registers go down and they can't selll and you can't buy. I've been to post office to get a package. They had it. Sitting right there. But they couldn't give it to me. Because "the system was down"-- they needed to scan it but couldn't. So using that and looking forward.... there will be a day when we can't poop if the internet goes down or connection is lost.

      Could definitely see that. That’s good to hear that somebody else is having the same issue and it’s not just my truck. Really wished they just kept a button on the remote to start it rather than having to sync to an app.

      We have a had a few new 2022 and 2023 vehicles arrive with a faulty TCM (Tele Communications Module). A fix for this ranges from a simple reprogram to a complete swap with a new TCM. I’m incredibly sorry to hear about your issues, but this isn’t an isolated issue and Ford is aware of it.

    My todays issue is not with the FordPass app, the activating process seemed fine per the app, but the truck does not respond.

      If your vehicle is not responding, you can always attempt to remove the vehicle and re-activate it. If that does not work, you will need to bring your vehicle into your local Ford store and have them check the TCU (Telecommunications Unit) Module to make sure that it is responding correctly.

    My screen had been black for over 10 minutes on the master reset option. How much longer should I wait? What should I do next?

      If you screen is black for that long, you are likely experiencing an APIM issue with your Sync screen. The only way to resolve this issue would be to have your local Ford store reprogram/replace the module to ensure that this issue doesn’t keep occurring.

      Mine stayed black for a lonnng time the first master reset. I had to turn the truck off open the door and lock with key fob. I imagine it's too late now but hopefully this reply helps someone in the moment. Now I have to continue reading to see if any of these comments help me đŸ€ž

    have a 2018 mustang performance pack 2. And I have the FordPass app. Why I can’t see the car information like the oil life. gas. And more.

      Once, you activate your Mustang via the app, that information will be available on the vehicle tab of the app.

      @@leetvolk We have seen a few 2022 vehicles arrive with the FordPass modem not functioning properly. You may need to contact your dealer, and set up a time to have the FordPass (TCM) module re-flashed.

      @@siicaoballe7015 In 2018 FordPass was only available in select models. If the activation button does not appear, then your Focus does not have the FordPass model, and can not be activated.
