Summary: Aaron stuns his family and friends when he tentatively comes clean about the real reason he attacked Jackson. Following his revelation, Aaron's surprised when the court decides that he should be given a 150-hour community order as opposed to a custodial sentence. Later, celebrating at Smithy, Adam lightly teases Aaron but it's clear that he's disappointed about Jackson leaving. Adam tries to assure Aaron that he did the right thing but it's clear that he's full of fear and regret as he begins to question whether he just made the biggest mistake of his life. Can Aaron move on now everyone knows his secret? Or will he regret coming out?

"It's my life. And so far I've made a right mess of it. I might as well finish the job."
How does Danny do it?! Wow, he's good.
Aw the little smile his mom did when Aaron came out was cute and Adam was so happy at the end.
Danny's acting is amazing. This is so powerful it is painful to watch and hear.
WOW!!! Danny is such a great actor, so looking forward to his return to Emmerdale later in 2014
Aaron's little speech had me in tears:'-(
All I can say is WOW!!! Danny was phenomenal in this episode. His tears brought tears to my own eyes. He is an amazing actor!
Such a powerful scene and so well acted. I'm in tears watching it.
Ok I´ve cried watching this one, I´ve loved every bit of it, this is brilliant and to think Danny didn´t win the other day makes me sick!!!!!! This is so good sometimes I can hardly handle it
Oh my..I can't watch Danny cry, he breaks my heart.
I loved his performance, he's such a brilliant actor!
The most amazing acting I've ever seen. Completely real. I was sobbing...taken utterly by surprise. Danny Miller is my new hero.
Poor Aaron, he so need someone to hold his hand and tell him you can do this. Like Adam. He kept looking at Jackson, but Adam has more pull. So proud he said the words. that took a lot of courage and heart.
Can't believe he didn't win a award.
That lawyer is from one of my favorite Movies.
I keep watching this storyline, and I love it more and more each time I see it. This actor is amazing!!!
Never will for get the one who plays his Lawyer Scott Neal He was so good in " Beautiful Thing" Great move he played in.
I love that Scott Neal is is solicitor
I'm so glad to see Scott Neal again. I've loved him eversince I saw "Beautiful Thing" for the first time. And Danny Miller...OMG! Amazing. Danny should be receiving awards for his work. He's incredible. Cheers to Emmerdale.
one of the best secne ever in soap history
Simply the fact that Scott Neal is Aaron's lawyer made this 10x better. So emotional, Aaron's finally started to accept himself.
I noticed Ste/Scott Neal too! That was awesome.
Awesome acting by Danny.💞💞💕💕😀😀😭😭
this is absolutely brilliant. Aaron is just absolutely brilliant. He is totally brilliant. :)
This is some of the best TV EVER! Danny Miller is brilliant, simply brilliant. Maybe we can band together and form our own award show and give him a dozen awards from the fans who recognize his amazing talent.
Every nuance in the actors' expression said a million words. I just don't understand how they were watching and not bawling like a baby, because I can't watch Aaron here without welling up myself.
Danny this Actor r amazing powerful every single moments and Aaron acting
Wow The actor that plays Aaron is really good. Not like the other actors in other soap operas I've seen! So thimbs up to him! =)
OMG!!! Danny's performance in the dock woz awesum!!!!. He looked soooo frightened standing there (the tough exterior completely stripped away) & when he told the court the real reason why he hit jackson, tears flowing and came out as being gay - WOW!!!
danny miller is an amazing actor
Danny Miller did an absolutely phenomenal job like everyone
is saying. Out of the many great things he did, the one that I
love the most was after being given community service, he's
relieved, and smilingly looks at Paddy and Chas and Adam
(I'm sure). But, when he turns back around it's like it instantly
hits him that now everything will truly begin. He's starting'his
life anew as openly gay Aaron, and you can sense his trepidation
and fear of the unknown. He was brilliant.
Sometimes I feel like Aaron is a real person...I'm totally bursting with pride for him :)
I guess it's a testament to Danny Miller and his incredible acting. He has such heavy stuff, and he does it so well. God. He's just so compelling. This whole SL is.
That was outstanding. Well done Danny.
*sobs* omg *sobs* i am so proud of him!! omg omg omg *sobs* im a blubbering mess arghhhhh
Damn, this guy can act! Someone give him an award or something,I'm crying my eyes out ......
one of the best moments yet!!! he is such an amazing actor
omg Aaron is great
@udalolo Yes he is! The actor looked so familiar to me and I had a hard time figuring it out. But I looked him up and it is Ste from "Beautiful Thing!"
his name is Scott Neal and he played Ste in "Beautiful Thing".
I'm so proud of Aaron.
I love how Danny Miller confessed about what really happened in PUB. He is an amazing actor for his age. KUDOS!! but i can't help but laugh when his mom and puddy gave him a boost during the short break by saying, "we are so proud of you". that's so hilarious and so not appropriate at the moment that it makes you want to hit them and blurt, "what the hell is wrong with you guys?" aren't you sensitive enough to know that aaron doesn't need that affection right now? lol
Danny is the man! hes such an awesome actor!
BOY OH BOY do I love to see Aaron smile. I am so happy that he finally came out. I like how Aaron asks for Jackson as soon as Paddy walks up to him. :)
@hoydengirl Me too. Danny Miller's performance was stellar. This episode of the Aaron storyline brought tears to my eyes.
Oh what an awesome actor Danny is! I was holding my breath that he would come out in court.
can i just completely praise danny miller on his excellent acting, he should have definelty won an award at the british soap awards and i would just like to marry him right now!!! WELL DONE!!! xx
god how amazing...is danny!!...he should have won an award....he is the best actor in soap!!
Great episode am in tears haha
Take note the panel of the BSA's!! Danny here is sensational and truly deserved an adward!!!
Aaron's face at the end was great. relieved about his sentence, but then completely scared about what is going to happen next...danny does such a great job with subtle things.
btw...is the lawyer the kid from beautiful thing? amazing!
This show is just...wow. General Hospital could learn a thing or two from Emmerdale's writers.
OMG! i'm gonna cry, Danny is amazing! Poor Aaron!
Chas and Paddy look so proud of him! and Adam looks so happy at the end
damn this is a good video i really enjoyed it
Same here, It was because of Beautiful Thing I listen to Mama Cass today and everytime I listen to Mama Cass I think of Beautiful Thing and Lea, Ste and Jamie
sad :((((( he cried again
i almost cried when Aaron is uttering about his confession... T_T
AMAZING acting Aaron..
omg best coming out ever love aaron aww aarons first thoughts being of what uncle zak and cain are thinking is sweet
I actually struggle to watch this one! The acting is sooo good it feels to real!
x
AMAZING ACTING!
Im watching this and seeing no dislikes after 24,766 views which shoes the award winning performance that Danny put in!
Holy Schmoly.... What a performance.
" Call the village band out, bid me goodbye, everybody stand outside and cry " One way ticket take me anywhere.. North bound, south bound, I don't even care " It's Ste from Beautiful Thing as Aaron Lawyer. Beautiful Thing was such a beautiful movie and Mama Cass made it extra beautiful =)
Scott Neal as Aaron's lawyer is awesome. Sort of funny as well, with his whole gay storyline on The Bill, lol.
Danny Miller's acting is, as always, flawless.
Bravo Aaron. Thank you Danny for your portrayal of a gay man. The writers too deserve a great applause as well as directors/producers. And it was awesome to see Scott Neal, a boy from public housing, grown up as an attorney.
Love you all
There's so many actors that are gay in other uk programmes. Im realizing how many soaps I watch for the sake of gay storylines. John Paul from Hollyoaks, Kash from Shameless, Luke Ashton from The Bill or Ste from The Beautiful Thing. Gotta catch em all
Scott Neal, James Sutton and Danny Miller! It's like 3 generations of actors who played gay characters in one show! Props for the reunification! loll :-))
I'm pretty sure his lawyer was in "beautiful thing"
He came out! He fvcking came out!!!
I know, Fab, right. Scott Neal looks great, all grown up!
I love Danny he's amazing!
Your lawyer would know je was gay in the bill 😂
i am willing to die for aaron
Danny Miller is one of the Best Actors in soap :O..
Did anyone else notice who his lawyer was? Ste from "Beautiful Thing".
Does anyone know what the ratings were for this episode? I know ratings for the train crash episode were about 8 million!
the judge seems to enjoy that
YAY!!!!
Wow.
@prothobs
Yes, I was just about to write the same thing. He was a lot more round-faced at the time. Great film, wasn't it? :)
play -- pause -- play -- pause --- play play play!!! finish!! Awesome
Did the lawyer just say Mum ?
who is the lawyer i recognize him from something i just cant think of what it is
He was in 'The Bill' for a few months
@southsideknitter I live in America. Danny or none of the actors in this storyline didn't win any of the BSA awards? I haven't seen the competition but I can't imagine any performance surpassing those in this brilliant storyline.
The performances here (and on "EastEnders" - C & S storyline) surpass most on American soap operas as well.
Aaron adults who he is and happy with Jackson but they take Jackson away
who is the actor that plays Aaron's solicitor?
Scott Neal. Been in lots of film and tv-productions. Widely recognized for his role in the now iconic 1996 gay drama film "Beautiful Thing", and the tv-series "The Bill" where he was one half of the first romantic gay kiss between uniformed police officers on British television.
Who is Aaron's lawyer? I feel like I've seen him before.... Anyone know what else he has been on?
missvintagevanity He played a guy on Hollyoaks who pretended to be French and gay called Alphonse. He was only on for like one episode,
Kima Jone mmmm I don't think I saw that, but I think I recognize him from the movie "Beautiful Thing" from like 1996. He was like 15 maybe. It was like a gay coming of age story, super good!
missvintagevanity Yup thats him from that move he Played Ste. His dad would beat him up just for no reason i forgot the name of the guy he ends up with lol.
@ChargeLama Haha, that was exactly the same reaction I had :) I'd recognise him anywhere.
@paulsr7960 I think he just wanted to hear Aaron say sorry, if he had done that days ago none of this would have happened.
The whole thing is brilliant, danny is Brilliant but that peice where he breaths deaply twice looking down, 'Its coz Im gay' then looks up. Wow that was just superb!
@Georgiemay1998 Not only is the French-accented actor Hollyoaks is one of the stars of the film "Beautiful Thing" great gay-themed film his name is Scott Neal.
It's funny that this information will of a Spanish. Right? :-)
Kisses.
Scott Neal as the lawyer. Still cute as shiiittttt!!!!!
Poor kid. Move aside so we can get a better view of Ste!
the hunger games.
@emily100094
ok thanks sorry i'm trying to understand the accent ^^
The BSA must have been rigged..
the lawyer kinda of looks like Josh hutcherson ... just saying
@paulsr7960 In all fairness, it's not like Jackson owes Aaron anything...
oi time and place mate time and place
;)
did the lawyer call the judge "mom"?
No he calls her ma'am
+El K doesn't sound like it😂😂
@sukicleo Well, they are an epic fail. Now they have to live with themselves.
(null)
*xx
The lawyer played a fake gay in hollyoaks :)
@emily100094
France ^^
God I wish something like this happened with the Lenny & Carsten storyline :(
But nevertheless. a very dramatic coming out. REALLY GOOD!
OH, btw, I accidentally clicked DISLIKE :( SORRY!!
