Summary: As Aaron continues with his community service, he's thrown when Wayne asks him about being gay, relaying that he read about him in the paper. Aaron firmly denies Wayne's suggestion, insisting that he only claimed he was gay in the hope that the judge would issue a lighter sentence. Still denying that he's gay, Aaron shocks himself at the depths he'll go in order to avoid being 'found out' in the wider world. Wayne encourages Aaron to chat up a group of girls if what he says is true. Wayne's amused, though, when Aaron crashes and burns under pressure. Later, as Wayne and Aaron fix a fence, Wayne's adamant that he doesn't believe that Aaron's straight. With that, Wayne shoves the fence post into Aaron, causing him to fall back into the water. Will Aaron take his revenge on Wayne?

Adam can read Aaron so well. Aaron could just have told Adam that something was bothering him, but I think he doesn't like to initiate such a conversation. Instead he does this so he knows that Adam will ask him what is wrong. Excellent :-)

This is not about Wayne making off color comments , it's about Aaron being his true self. Wayne isn't really bullying Aaron. He's asking question to which he already knows the answers and he's seeing if Aaron will lie or speak truthfully. Wayne is a silly kid who likes to push everyone's buttons. He would back down if Aaron was confident in himself. Obviously, Aaron still has a bit of growing up to do.

Well to be fair, shadrach indeed is right: not standing and not understanding something indeed is not the same. I really believe that he simply doesn't understand, because it never crossed his mind something like that was possible. He is going to come around eventuality!

+Ryan Je Just to add to the info above... "Wellies" is diminutive for Wellington boots. (They are also known, more so in other countries outside of Britain, as gum-boots, rainboots, rubber boots etc)
