Summary: As Aaron struggles to contain his temper, Jackson steps in and restrains Wayne who's still clasping the wrench. When Wayne slopes off, however, Jackson returns to work, leaving Aaron puzzled by his heroic actions. Later, Aaron buys Jackson a pint in The Woolpack and talk soon turns to Aaron's suicide attempt.

I love going back re-watching episodes of Aaron and Jackson, they truly was indeed the perfect couple. If only they allowed Jackson to live, they would've been preparing to get married by now. I prefer Aaron with Jackson a lot more then what he has now.

Everything about this episode is perfect.
I'm 62yrs old and just came out this past September. Scared of rejection etc. But something inside my head had enough of being dishonest with myself and everyone in my life. And realizing how much I gave up not being true to myself and not being truly happy. Since I watched a lot of coming out videos on CZcams it recommended this episode from Emmerdale. Since I live outside of Chicago Illinois USA I never heard of the show Emmerdale. I am hooked on the Aaron & Jackson storyline. It is such a beautiful, emotional and gut wrenching story. I have never seen such a fantastic story and perfect performance by Danny Miller and Marc Silcock. I can't speak any higher about it. Well Done!!!

Those bartenders are fantastic! They pour the exact amount of beer in each glass and its almost exactly at the top!
I am not quiet sure if it was meant sarcastically or not.... But when I first came to the UK I was really confused how fast a beer was ready, since in germany it takes a while because of the "Foam crown" but since they don't do that, they have a really.... *Disturbing* technique to pour the beer in the glas by holding the tap into the beer, preventing the beer from foaming. So they pour it in really fast and till the edge of the Glas. So.... The bartenders in emmerdale do it exectly like real bartenders do in the UK. At least that's my experience😂 it is quiet surprising though and at least for me actually a bit disturbing 😂😂😂
Everytime I see the scene at the pub I'm both amused, by everyone keeping an eye on them and discussing them and horrified by how nosy they all are. Being a very private person myself I would have die there of embarassment.

Ok this part was funny, cute and perfect. Love hilarious Paddy, Chas and Marlon. And of course the most important thing: perfect scenes when they finally talk about all the stuff has happened these months. They were so cute in there and once again great acting. The storyline is being perfect for several months already. I´m seriously starting to think this is the best ever!!!

So true... aaron needs jackson ... there are so many ways they could bring back jackson ... you don't just write of your best story line and couple ..

+Ciara Lamb jackson story line with the accident being paralize and then suicide made no scense it did not even fit into the show ...the writers to me showed a great disrespect to people that are like that ... the writers are just unfair when it comes to gay relationships.... they just cant bring themselves to give a gay couple a in any soap a good future together ... yes every relationship has drama problems ... the best part about it is that the viewers end up falling in love with the gay couple and their lives ... its more intresting and lovable ... everyone derserves a chance at happiness reguardless of who or what they are ... after jackson demise ... that show just lost it for me...

aaron plays with his wedding finger when he walks away from dropping off the beer to Jackson. he's had that nervous habit forever! IT IS ADORABLE
I love how Aaron has a little smile when he says that Paddy likes to check up on him. That shows how much Paddy means to him.
Poor Aaron having to get to know a fellow gay man before the prying eyes of his family and community (I had to go 10,000 miles away myself!!) but once again Jackson is made to feel like a freak for expressing some affection, or that it's not acceptable for him to do something as normal as touch someone's arm.

There are so many things to love about this episode: the banter between Chas and Paddy, Jackson's sexy little smiles at 1:42 and 6:18, all the pub scenes between Aaron and Jackson, but especially from 9:20 onwards... I can't get over how good this is!
Does anyone else suspect that Jackson's remarks after 7:56 ("Nothing's changed. You're really lucky")--followed by that sad look--are setting up something?
