By 20 years in the future we will definitely have DDR8, if not DDR9, 24c CPUs as low end mainstream, RAM becoming the next colossal investment in storage capacity replacing NVMe in whatever PCIe protocol adapts atm, mainstream GPUs capable of delivering 8K. It will be $5, believe it or not.

The prices of older cards are climbing rapidly, a lot of the 4 gb cards were selling for around $110 to 120 USD just a few weeks ago, now they are selling for upwards of $200 and over, now the 2 gb cards are starting to creep up in price. It seems like a vicious cycle.

750ti goes for 100 MINIMUM on eBay now... my 1050ti i bought used for $180 like 5 years ago, it now runs for no less than $210 on eBay

@@Protoking even now, I was looking for a gpu, older amd gpu for a temporary pc. It was about $25 for the cheapest ones you could get, now it's about $40, that was about a month ago, you could get a lot of listings under $30, now the cheapest one is $40.
I feel like this is a great idea not only for gpu but for all components. It really lets people now that there are options for all price points.

I go with the Radeon HD5450 2GB card, seems to work well for me. I just do basic gaming and MP4 video playback I have 2 media players that use them and I really like them... I'll have to keep the other models in mind next time I need to purchase one... GPU prices seem to jump all over the place on Ebay...

Funny the Rx 460 with tiny fan and heat sink, keeps up or passes they gtx 750ti with massive heat sink and dual fans. Guess it was just for looks.

I just bought a 750ti for $20 along with a 770 for $30. Both going in old builds to give them a nice boost and some good times gaming. The 750ti is perfect for this old machine that only has a 250W PSU.
Same I'm putting the gtx 750 ti into my dell optiplex 790 but I upgraded the psu as well

Honestly the 570 4GB I got for my girlfriend has been a smoother experience than my 580 8gb

I helped my niece build her first earlier this year with a i5-2400 & RX460 4GB, she loves it,
only problem it is at my place & she is at her place đ & here in Australia Police are handing out $1600 fines for unnecessary traveling

@@shaneeslick Really? Tech YES City lives there and he has been traveling around Australia A LOT picking up PC parts and delivering PC's to buyers. If you're worried, just wait until you need to get groceries and pick out a store near your sister's house to get them from. That way if you get pulled over you have an alibi, even better if you have groceries in the back.

I have an RX560 2gb which is basically an overclocked RX460 . And I'm very happy with what it can still do . I've had this card since summer 2017 . Still going strong .

Did you hit the Nvidia Control Panel prior to the run? Nvidia Tends to under work them on the stock settings. Using max performance and such should open up the 750 a little more.
I was able to get a R9 270 Windforce cooler card for $33 a year ago and it was a very good card when I upgrade from a Vega 8 on my 2200G to the 270.
I got a Toxic R9-270x for $55.

I got a secondhand Radeon r7 360 OC from a friend at Uni for 50$ at the beginning of 2020 and it performs similarly to these cards. They are very capable, and some games they can do 1080p high. It really depends on the title. You'd be surprised how many games on steam are specced with a 270x or similar card for min settings. I'm definitely keeping it as a backup now that I've finally upgraded.
Two weeks later I found a GTX750ti for $35. It is now 2022 and that same card is selling for over $100. It fantastically still receives driver support because it was built on the same architecture as the 900 series cards. That was the best $35 I ever spent. I got lucky, when everyone else was struggling to find a card, I only had to temper my expectations and turn a few settings down. By the way. SOT at 1600x900 native, on medium settings, and a locked framerate, was a very playable experience. For me, the 750ti has been the low budget champ of the quarantine shortage.

Yo I love your vid. I think instead of 750ti you should have looked at the gtx 950 which you can buy for 30 dollars if you look hard and is better than all of the cards on the list. Good video tho

My first GPU was a Sapphire R9270X Toxic, It died when my old M/B went 'POP' although the Athlon II X4 CPU survived???
so now the Toxic sits on the shelf looking Sexy & the Athlon is in my neighbours sons PC with a GTX560Ti

What would you pair with a i7-4470 with 500w Cool Master psu? I'm looking for a good GPU that my cpu can handle with low bottle necking. Also want to be able to,play all,the new games as well though

I highly recommend the low profile AMD WX series like the Wx 2100, 3100, 3200, or if lucky get a 4100. The 3100 is better than a 750ti and they are relatively cheap. The upside to these is they donât need power cables and they fit in both sff and larger towers. One thing to note is the 2100 and 3100 are exactly the same except the 3100 has 2 more Gb of VRAM so opt for the 3200 or 4100.

I got a MSI R9 390 8gb off a fb marketplace ad 3 weeks ago for 50 bucks. Had to buy a power supply to feed it, but I'm still pretty damn happy.

Well GT1030 (GDDR5 models) is a great card brand new for about $80 it cost $30 over the budget however it only uses 30W and has a warranty.

You can often get the R9 270X for the same price. It is often made in an OC version with a better cooler than the 270 - and performs from 10% to 25% better depending on which version you get. I seem to remember something like the "Sapphire Black Edition" or something like that being in the top of the "mid range" AMD charts for a long time. It would be a better comparison to the 750 ti since the 270 was actually a lower binned part from November 2013 where the 270x was released in august 2013. (the 750 ti was released in feb 2014). The œ a year in release difference should do something to make up for the original MSRP of 199$ for the 270x vs the 149$ for the 750 ti....

I got an EVGA single fan 750ti for only $25 from some dude on Facebook. Already have an RX 580 though I just wanted to get this card for keepsake since I always wanted one when it first came.

@@storm-john6007 Yeah I've got the super clocked version as well. Haven't tested it out though I'm sure it'll run smoothly once I clean and re-paste it. EVGA always makes the best cards so you won't have to worry just check the warranty sticker.

I picked up an r9 290x (blower card) for $50 about a year ago, the seller was having problems with stability and decided to sell. I ended up pulling it all apart and threw some new thermal paste on it and gave it to a buddy to replace his gtx 1050 2gb threw on a custom fan curve with msi afterburner and he's still using it to this day.

is the GTX750Ti a 4GB or 2GB, the GTX750Ti should be able to get higher FPS but if it is only a 2GB it may suffer more noticeable dips,
also does the GTX750Ti need PCIe Power & does your PSU have PCIe Power, very rare for a RX550 to need PCIe Power, but it is worth a check also,
if pricing is the same đ€ I would go the RX550 4GB over a GTX750Ti 2GB, but a GTX750Ti 4GB over a RX550 4GB

Did you have any problems with drivers on Windows 10 with your 270x? I bought one a while back and can't get it to run or even install the Adrenaline drivers!
Nah, Mine is working completely fine with no problems installing drivers, It runs RDR2 1080p low 30-45 FPS, Itâs a used Sapphire Toxic one, Sometimes some artifacts but not often

still use a 270 recently aquired a 570 but im still sitting pretty much on par with the 270 being heavily bottlenecked by a phenom 2 1045t altho it does sync up in what i play at 60fps with my 60hz monitor vsynched i cannot complain still. lots of future potential for my 570.. if i upgrade my psu i can stop running it on -5% power settings and let ot over clock. using a psu that has no 8 pin. the 570 is running only using a 6 pin just no overclocking going to happen.
