It's easy to kneel. Does it change anything? Probably not. The people who are against will only be confirmed in their opinions. Gesture as a gesture. But this is directly enforced. Nonsense to deal with who kneels and who. Zaha doesn't kneel either, because he knows it won't change anything.
@@elijah7733 Well it does matter Rocket League boy. Big rivalry between Arsenal and Chelsea but he's saying that the fight on racism is bigger than that.
I will praise those slavia Prague players not acting like sheep and doing the right thing they are the ones united against racism
Since noone seems to be bringing this up, let me explain.
Slavia stood arm to arm to send a message of unity across nations and skin colors, it's an alternative to kneeling and it's certainly not a symbol of racism, it's in fact the exact opposite.
Kneeling is problematic in Eastern Europe, many players feel like they're pressured to a gesture that is English/American. But since Eastern Europe doesn't have colonial history, or history of slavery and segregation, it doesn't have the same meaning.
On top of that a big part of eastern european society (The Polish national team doesn't kneel as well for example) feels like they're being dictated what to do by a bigger, more powerful country, which is extremely sensitive, because the USSR did that for 50 years and people hate anything that reminds them of it, the message is supported, when sent "our way" but kneeling is considered submissive and reactions to it by the public are very negative.
And then there's the ever lasting xenophobia from the British public towards Eastern Europe. Some players don't like that they're asked to kneel to fight against racism and get called eastern european farmers/plumbers immediately after.
very well said!
The left propaganda isn’t working on Eastern Europe...congratulations!
Actually it is only an american problem, not even english.
