Thank you for the honest review. And yes PPE is vitally important on a powerful scooter.
Like ATGATT on motorbikes. It's great to look carefree like a manly beast, but it's bad when it goes wrong. 🤘
Glad u showed with struggle with the box!! lol. Keeping it real on CZcams! We are trying to get some scooters to travel with in our school bus conversion we live in. Thanks for the awesome videos. -Richard
You hit the nail on the head with the hill climbing point. I don't see myself cruising at more than about 35 - 40 MPH, but being able to hold about 35 uphill would be a game changer in the mountainous region in which I live.
I would really recommend really good gloves and a bike vest. I used to own a 35mph scooter. I hit a pot he at night landed on my right side ended up breaking my right wrist and fractured 3 of my right ribs.
Hows the recovery. Do u still ride scooters?
@@kiwimon3204 It been 2 years since my surgery on my wrist. Still no 100 percent recovery on strength and flexibility. I sold the scooter. Thank for asking.
@@badimpulses17 no worries. I know wat you mean. Had my 1st E Scooter accident last year.
My fault speeding back and forth on my street. Suddenly got a speed wobble and flew Superman forward onto rough Tarmac surface. Wasn't wearing proper safety gear.
Gots scrapes to my right hand palm coz the gloves I wore weren't good. Scrapes to my right knee. Hip thigh and Right elbow. I was wearing long pants and a hoody.
My left wrist got badly sprained.
No broken bones.
My helmet Thankfully saved me head.
I now wear full safety gear wen I ride. Gloves. Knee and elbow pads. Sometimes I wear motorcycle jacket or body armour jacket.
I've had 2 other accidents that weren't serious as my 1st.
I still ride. More cautious and alert.
I have 2 E Scooters. My 1st the TNE Q4 V4 plus model. And recently bought the Zero 11x.
All the best to your future 👍
Lol this is why I only go up to 12-15 mph with protection gear on. Fuck that shit
@@serggla924 I was going 15 mph, the max speed of my scooter, and I tore a hole in my arm down to the bone last week, got ~20 stitches right now but thankfully no major problems. You gotta think of it like a bicycle but it's always at top speed, so you should probably wear a helmet and always pay attention to your surroundings at all times
That is a crazy fast machine. Love it and love your channel. Please keep up the good work!
Great video, great attitude, and something I never expected to find interesting. You rocked it!
Oh wow, that looked like it was a lot of fun testing that scooter!! I know I would've loved testing it.
I love your e bike review videos and and happy to know you do these educational videos and books too
This is a great channel. Thanks very much for making these videos they're definitely helping me learn about ebikes more!
Thanks for the feedback Eric, I'm glad you're enjoying my videos!
Another great review! That scooter looks fun to ride!
Love your videos man. I have a Emmo Ewild 48v 12.5 ah ebike. It’s super amazing and fun. You taught me some things that I really needed to know
That is awesome! Glad to hear it!
Have just found your channel. Fantastic content, and well presented. Thank you. I am now planning the battery for my 1st e-bike. Wish me luck! Actually your book will definitely be massive help.😜
You gonna like it. That how I made my first electric scooter.
I take my my electric chopper out offroad sometimes for fun lol. I took it through this small lake thing once was super fun definitely love being able to hit both trails and the road safely.
I bought a Currus NF Plus, great fun. Thanks for the videos.
Great review Micah! Love the suspension on that thing.
Thanks, me too! 👍
Wild ride. Thanks for the look.
Very nice. Looking forward to seeing more of it👍
You're extremely helpful and very detailed keep up the the great work
Awesome. I was thinking of buying one too. Thanks for the review
Love your tests
Thanks! I agree, anything above 30-35 Mph really does require PPE like helmets etc.
It's safe to always wear it, but it's actually important at those speeds and above.
I'd say anything over 20 mph. I've hit the concrete enough times to know even at slow speeds that shit hurts.
@@caseyb1346 IKR? Seriously, falling doesn't feel good ever, but adding speed just adds pain. Even 15 mph is nasty if you land wrong without proper gear.
I'm looking for an auto replacement. Your channel is super helpful. Thank you for the videos.
Niiiiice, i just bought my first e-Scooter 😂 the Segway-Ninebot ES4 non foldable one, meant for rentals, supposed to be built like a tank, we’ll see 👍
Great reviews every time you present a product or a concept, you are the best at what you do,period.
I am wondering if you are going to show more about the "new" bike you picked up in Tel Aviv, and any more contributions that Israel is having in your area of expertise. I bet it was nice to get back and see old friends.
Thanks again for all that you do, nayim meohd.
Those camera angles are amazing
Love your videos... wondering if you could do a series on super compact yet fast (40/50 plus)? We bring ours on our boat and sometimes on private planes and having a light fast transport is handy!
Great review!
I definitely want one of these, looks fun
I love your camera work. Those 360 cameras on a stick let you do crazy things
Very cool...One day I'll get my dream trike. Cheers.
I've been commuting on my uberscoot 1600w for a 16 months now and it can hit 45 MPH no problem. With the 50 Ah battery i made, it comes in at just over 100lbs as well...
Oh and it also only cost me a grand total of $800 (that includes the second hand like new price of the scooter) to get it up to speed.
upgrading my 48v's to 52v's would put me over the 50 MPH mark. I wear a full face helmet, added turn signals and mirrors as well as LED strip lights covering the back and underside so that other people see me in the dark.
Pro Tip: I also always use the seat....The seat changes the center of balance entirely and stabilizes the ride. Even at 45 mph on 11" wheels I still feel completely in control.
damn that scooter looks crazy your videos are very detailed and easy when you explain in detail :]
Nice, I like the rion more. That thing is a beast though. Have fun!
Very informative. Many thanks
Thanks for sharing this e.scooter
Looks nice ! 😁👍🛴
That is a crazy amount of power for a scooter! You are much braver then I am.
Great stuff !
Wow, looks like a blast. I will be sticking with my cycleboard though. Like bigger tires
Great video, and like your well deserved caution mixed in!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, caution is important with these kind of machines.
i own a Toursor E8 Pro that has 5600w with a 42ah battery. and while mine goes 50mph as well, i very rarely hit those speeds. its mainly just my ride for work on a sunny day. that will change when i have more free time in the summer but still they are a lot of fun to drive!
The head angle is too high, they need to drop it and make the scooter a bit longer to improve safety handling at high speeds.
increase the tire size as well to handle road imperfections better.
That's a great informative video, thanks...
זה כלכך כיף לראות את הסרטונים שלך!! תודה
Always Awesome ...
Great! This way you won’t have far to fall! The trouble will likely be the sliding and tumbling to a stop. Oh, I can’t forget the hazards like the odd Volkswagen or Infinity that might run into you. Looks like a great way to get maimed and have fun doing it. 🤓
YO, send me a book. Oh, and a big thanks for all the great reviews, I’ve been able to make so,e good decisions based on your work.
I can see that looks super fun on and off road. Hate to change the subject, but have you ever had any experience with the delfast top 2.0? Would love to hear your feedback/review.
It's so awesome you don't need a license for these type of entertainment. Looks so fun!!
Great video. Any chance you can eventually try to build an ebike that is relatively small/hidden (ie you can't tell first directly looking that it is an ebike)?
Great scooter even off-road. Any of the books please!
I have the widewheel and I love it
Looks like a lot of fun.
Definitely looks fun
Awesome scooter, that would suit me perfectly!
How do you safely shoot your videos on driving? Sometimes seems to be a stick, sometimes drone?
Oh, damn, this one is a monster of a scooter. My dream is to put my bbshd on a dual suspension bike, that would be a perfect vehicle.
I can see how offroading on that heavy duty scooter would be a blast. The suspension was getting a workout.
That looks like a pretty cool scooter!
That's pretty cool and would be nice to commute to work on
I'd protect head, face, knees, elbows, hands and toes. I'd avoid vertical objects like posts and trees. They can be deadly. Your remarks on safety are very appropriate. Great review thanks.
Great looking scooter
That's scooter looks really fun. Do they have options for rugged tires for off read use?
Nice review Mikey, all said and not sugar packing, I like it.
I have a question regarding battery building, I'm planing to build external battery for my electric scooter that has 36V input. Can I use 3.7V batteries in 10s sheme or I have to search 3.6V and make 10s for exact 36V total?
That thing is SWEET!
Great video
Curious how u can get so much power and gear to get this speed?
I've been hurled over the handlebars of my little Razor scooter a few times, injuring my shoulder each time from the impact of these low-speed falls. I sure as hell wouldn't wanna hit a pothole at 50 mph on this scooter w/ wheels that are WAY too small for any road I'm not already really familiar with.
There are so many other micromobility options I'd choose before this one...or I'd just have to limit my speed greatly, unless I knew the road really well.
Love mine!
Organized races on a track with these machines would be greatly entertaining! Like Nascar on a scooter!
more like MotoGP.
Great review....do you have a video on phat scooter hub motor disassembly.
Bro your awesome with all the different scooters I see you vlog, I have a question, what amp fuse does this scooter take? And also I have a scooter which I upgraded from 48v to 96v what fuse do I use to run this? The battery is causing sparks when I connect the battery to the terminal on my scooter, my scooter is 1000watt 96volt with a 48v controller that I should be replacing for a 60v controller
Yeh, that would be LOADS OF FUN, but I just know I would eventually ... HURT MYSELF if I ever got something like that.
Insane
They're interesting but lethal I'd prefer to spend that money on a Sur Ron or a nice sinewave kit with all the trimmings.
Dualtron Thunder i have that , its amazing but like u mentioned safet is always a number 1 priority
Highly recommend a full-cover helmet and full bike gear. I came off at 40km/h wearing only a cheap bicycle helmet and lost a tooth and chipped a few, sprain thumb, wrist and a few bruises. I consider myself extremely lucky to walk away from the accident relatively unharmed. Easily avoidable injuries with said gears. I could also have easily died if I hit a curb.
Hi sir unboxing video nice, I like your books good information ,what is in side the lithium ion battery.
if been watching you channel for years , you give us the best knowledge, thank u , can you do a review on the super73 s1 ? cheers
I actually did a review of that bike on Electrek here: czcams.com/video/nijYyOqRiGU/video.html
What do you think about home made spot welders? Would you recommend them for a project?
Have a question since I know you view many scooters...Are you familiar with the FLJ Scooter that also goes 50mph? If so, do you know how good that particular brand is?
What do you think of the Fieabor?
Can't wait to get my Rion re 100 and do 85 in school zones!! Tank top board shorts and flip-flops!!
Hi there. This was actually my first choice of electric scooter from Kaabo but ended up going with Mantis Pro instead.
Great video.
hey I know that area. I bike ride with my Aussies almost everyday out there, Gotta love florida
Just found your channel hopefully I'll learn alot
Thats awesome!
We used scooters while on a stag do in Warsaw 20 guys all whipping about town on these pure fun . What’s the stopping power like with the brakes at full speed ?? And range ?
Very nice! And you said, “Used”? Hey! As long as it doesn’t run on gas, doesn’t scare the birds or campers, should be good in parks too. Then again, most parks have a speed limit. Still have to suit up. (My street has speed bumps!)
Great scooter!!!
I want to have like those electric scooter. I hope you can give me one even though the old ones. I just need that going to work. Thanks in advance. Salute man!
Nice video but what did you pay for a used scooter ?vs new?thanks
Great video
👍👍. Always great
Hey, can you please make a video on the amperage of batteries and how to size up to an existing motor/ controller? I want to build my own battery but find cell with different mAh and it’s confusing.
How does industry made and diy batteries differ?
Also, will vruzend v2.1 diy kit give us industry level quality battery packs?
Is it better to diy or buy for small scale buisness?
Lovely scooter nice worth every penny
Help! I just finished my first diy ebike following your helpful videos. I built my own ebike battery as well. Now I have a 14s5p battery with common port 30A bms with only an xt60 connector coming out of the battery but everytime I disconnect the battery and connect it either to the charger or back to the controller, there is a spark! Not so big when I connect the battery to the charger but when I connect it to the bikes controller the spark is big! And although I have only connected it to the co stroller twice, the sparks have done significant damage to the xt60 connector. I cannot find a youtube video that covers this topic!
I sure as hell want one now
I have a question my electric scooter runs but when I sit on it to ride it hops. Why does it do this? I've checked alot and haven't seen any issues with wires and no help online.
friend I have a question and I need your help. I make deliveries with my ebike. I wanted to trade the two batteries I have for just one. I have a 1000W motor and my motor brushless controller is 26amp limits, if I replace the motor brushless controller to one with a high amperage, I could use a 48V-40ah battery?
