Shoulda said not versed in reading specifications on an Amazon page. I mean how do you do any hobby without learning things about the hobby. If your gonna get into e bikes which use rechargeable lithium ion batteries know a thing or two about batteries and how to charge them.

I never ride my home build out in that kind of weather, but someone said 3000$? My genesis 1500 watt goes over 30mph, well under 1000$ brand new with battery, Violamart conversion kit but it rides great.

Used bikes are very common, additionally I personally don’t know of anyone who keeps a receipt for a store bought bike. I’ve purchased numerous bikes, huffy, schwinn, mongoose, genesis, they make great basic pedal bikes and good conversion bikes and I don’t keep receipts, bikes-including ebikes, are not motorcycles, you don’t register them where I live.

Good advice, however, what if those crash damaged components were changed out? As an amateur bike mechanic I know that cables, pedals, and hand grips are cheap, a rim can be trued, touch up paint can be used, and saddles are easily changed.

You’re getting what you’re paying for. How much was it? Seems like this is an accident waiting to happen. It’s basically like a toy machine, meant for goofing around and very light tasks. It’s for someone who doesn’t want to commit to the real thing, just to dabble with. Would love to see how long it lasts and which part breaks first.

i had a smart bms that i changed for a regular one because the connector didnt came with the battery , my problem is the B+ wire from the battery .. what do i do with it ,, my new bms has only C- P- and B- .. do you have a video already talking about that or a sugestion to give me to bypass the connector ,, i thought those problems would be out of the equation with a simplier bms but the B+ was hiden under the smart bms and unpleasant surprise to me when came the time to cut and replace the smart one with the already bought new simplier bms ,,it seems important because the current is still not going out of the battery to the bike everything is connected except that red wire .i m lost now i dont find any tip nowhere about this subject , a connector sold separately or else and spent too much money already to push the whole thing aside or find a new battery ,,sorry for my english i m french canadian hi hi thanks in advance

The issue with cheaper electric tractors is the Ali express tractors aren’t well balanced so if anyone is going to use this I’d figure out how to add weights to balance the rear and keep it from tipping forward when loading the bucket but your best option is to avoid this all together, good grief that thing is slow!

Damn, I know this is an old video now, but it's info was amazing for me, I'm in a category of unfit (point of no return) and needing to change that, so I maxed out my PayPal Credit and got the Himiway Big Dog for the 400lbs weight capacity, it arrived today, took me 2 hours to assemble, got all my gear on, got on the bike (not been on one for 20 years) and thought I could just simply ride away... Nope, I was unstable, shakey, off balance, struggled to find my footing on the pedals and tipped over twice (without falling off). I clearly needed some info, I found your vid and I will Aid me a lot in terms of preparation and getting back into it.

If you had a mini skid steer I'd be interested. These are awesome but a bit much for my property.

Any plans to upgrade these to LiFePO4 batteries? Not only would it save in maintenance overtime, the runtime would increase dramatically as well. LiFePO4 aren't affected by being left at different charges points for long periods of time and also have a much longer lifespan than lead acid batteries. They also have a much higher capacity for the same size form factor as their lead acid counterparts.

peg drag and flip over at high speed is not a safe bike! One should be able to learn deeply to learn to drive well, if the pegs begin to drag due to a simple lean is not a good bike!
