Yooo that Illidan v Arthas callback, tho! The night elves never get the W in that scenario. lol
Yea, it lol. In both scenario Night elves were stronger, here Elune wasn't on good mood and Illidan was much stronger than Arthas, we knows about it if we read Arthas book. The illidan was too self-confident and at the end of the battle, due to fatigue and trying to finish the battle quickly, he hurried. And since he is an experienced hunter who has a very long experience in fighting and using magic, of course, you still need to note the power of frostmorn, but the book says that in a big case, Illidan simply lost an easy battle for him.
but it should be noted that both of them are alive and a greater future awaits them. By all the similarities, they can also meet with each other, maybe in cinematic.
Literally saved by the plot unbelievable haha
Elune's failing Tyrande seems to be a real subject to me, wait and see before saying "it's plot armor", I don't think it's as simple as that.
i think Elune knows Sylvanas still has something important to do, thats why it didnt let Tyrande kill her

And considering that in Darnassian Tyrande said "My life for hers," which shows she was willing to go nuclear to kill Sylvanas, Elune took the power away so Tyrande didn't kill herself, even if Sylvanas getting away was the consequence.

Yeah its really annoying, Sylvanas is powered up by the jailer, by a big chunk the most powerful entity of the shadowlands at the moment. That Tyrande survives this without a scratch is just major plot armor, wish they would kill her already

@@Comedymakesmelaugh7 While sylvanas has been saved time and tiem again, mainly because she is one of the few characters who has an important role for the story, lets not talk about plot armor when literally characters are getting power boost after power boost or do some things out of nowhere simply to even the sylvanas plot armor. Night Warrior power up and random super hero abilities ? Jaina doing crazier and crazier shit everytime ? Malfurion ?

Tyrande would have killed Sylvanas there but at the cost of her own life. Elune cares about Tyrande thats why she didn't let it.

Tyrande did not fail at all. Elune did not let her win, cause the Night Power was about to consume Tyrande completely. In the end Sylvanas lost and ended in the maw by Tyrandes judgement. And now the Nelfs have Amirdrassil.
IT's the funniest thing to see how Tyrande hated Illidan's ways, but now has slowly turned into him.
but i dont see any fel or demonic magic coming out of her, is it fighting style? Illidan's fighting style is not unique to illidan. It is a night elf thing to wear glaives and this is an elven fighting style. Illidan himself was a sorcerer and did not pick up glaives until defeating a demon.
@@epic-o2215 it's not that, basically she pushed aside all of her traditional ways on order to pursuit revenge for her people, no matter what it cost and no matter who she left behind. She's doing it so it never happens again. Basically Illiadin but no demonic nature.
@@Pathseacher There is some truth to it, but most night elf NPCs wanted her to go after Sylvanas/Nathanos, she actually has been carrying out her people's will by doing this. That being said, she should instead have rebuilt and help her people heal, which she will do next. So in that regard i guess it is a bit more like illidan.
@@epic-o2215 The same could be said about some of the night elfs npc's that followed Illidan in his path, carrying out there will as well. and Illidan in the end is technically helping his people by keeping sargeras in check so that the burning legion doesn't happen again.
@@Pathseacher The difference continues to be that Illidan has been consistently lusting after power, all of his inner thoughts from novels and books are all about wanting power and recognition. Tyrande is selfless in her actions, and would not willingly sacrifice any of her subjects. Illidan routenly sacrifices allies to achieve goals, as good as they may be. He is more of the "end justifies the means" kind of guy. Tyrande doesnt compromise in that regard and fights for purely selfless reasons.
Actually Illidan still has total disdain for the people he fights for. Whereas Tyrande cherishes them

I play Horde but it is pretty cool to see a night elf actually do something instead of just be Blizzard's punching bag. I really hope in the raid it is Tyrande who finishes off Sylvanas and not some "Enough! I grow tired of this!" scenario.
@Miranda Durango I mean depends on which side you play. Arthas was defeated by the Heroes of Azeroth and the souls freed from when Highlord Tirion Fordring used the power of the light to break free and shatter Frostmourne. So from my point of view yea Arthas was defeated partially by Undead and Blood Elves.
Tyrande will not be invovled with the final raid, her main role here was to save Ardenweald from getting trampled, which she did. After this, her storyline will probably take us to Elune, in a future expansion. For now she will calm down and help the night elves rebuild
She ends up being freed from the night warrior cause itâs power is to much
She doesnât get freed. She states that later on after the power overwhelms her that she is now able to live with the night warriors power without it overwhelming her. Itâs assumed Elune and the Winter Queen help

No. Unless you plan on having that legion shadow priest talent that kills you ... but it's a class passive. It'll never happen. In NF campaign you literally have night warriors who've died. They always die. The only reason Tryande doesn't is b/c Elune yoinks the power. How do you propose making it a class when it kills anyone who's ever used it? Elune is going to magically grant mortals the same favor she grants Tyrande so they don't all suicide?

I mean...the premise of the ENTIRE expansion is that Sylvanas hates that "gods" choose your path. Sylvanas knows Elune is just the other side of the of the Jailer and would never allow her to die if it directly benefits Elunes ambitions. Tyrande is just a pawn...Sylvanas is always 3 steps ahead.
Just a tease for now. Still.. can't wait for Horde chat finally being cleansed of the fanboying/-girling when they kill her off. Been waiting for that since forever.

For now Nobbel thinks that either Elune is just not ok with the way she is using her power, but he doesn't think it is that because the other Night Warriors could kill all they want, or Tyrande body could just not take it anymore, that Elune did not abandon her but her body was becoming to weak to hold her powers thus why she looks exhausted
