In my opinion there is no need , Jaina already said her goodbyes to him in WOLTK. And let's be honest if Arthas would have made a full apparition he would have stole the spotlight of the cinematic and that wasnt the point, it not about him. My complain is that Uther didn't say a shamefull "Sorry" , since he is the reasone Arthas was damned in the Maw and ended up in that shape.
@@MikeAndersson Sorry but from a cinematic design point of view nope ... they did everything possible to make Arthas as little and powerless as possible so we don't focus on him and instead we focus on Anduin and Sylvanas . I guess hardcore Arthas fans will focus on that small flicker while ignoring the rest .... the main story they are trying to tell, and call it bad.
@@MikeAndersson Because that would ruin the whole story of him. And Uthers and the mourne blades, the Lich King, all of it. If you just swipe all of this away and just undo everytthing, even when it was such an extreme, you take the meaning out of everything. Arthas's story was an endless fall from a Paladin and Prince into becoming a monstrosity into becoming a mere, broken tool of death. Jaina had to find peace with her role in it, when she just left Arthas, as she had left her father, maybe not trying enough to stop, what led to their fall and death. Same for Uther, first failing his prince, by not being able to bring him back onto the right path, then, far worse, condemning his very soul, not out of justice - but revenge. It's not a happy end, clearly not. But that's the point.

it should have ended with Arthas and Jaina got a couple of secounds alone..
