In this game, Norman Reedus meetus a fetus, but Reedus had to yeetus the fetus and feedus the fetus to the heatus but Reedus needus the fetus to beatus the BTeedus so they don't eatus the Reedus and the fetus, so Deadman agreedus to Reedus' pleadus so that the mission could succeedus. It's pretty neatus.

He broke the 4th wall at the end there, when he sat down on the bed, he gave a big wink at the player, that was funny. I hope Norman had as good a time doing this as I'm having watching it. Really wild story and wonderful graphics, so beautifully done.
For the bedroom stuff, kojima apparently let norman do his thing for a few hours and captured it.

So there's a guy who can come back to life, he delivers crap through fields that are full of floating dead people. He hooks a fetus to his stomach so he can see those floating dead people. If a dead person isn't burned up, they BECOME more floating dead people. If those floating dead people eat a not dead person, kaboom.

this game feels surrealistically futuristic. and not as in 'we're in modern times and its a modern game' kinda way. but literally like something that came out ahead of its time, and should be played by a different, weirder society. it has such an odd feeling of unfamiliarity, I kinda dig it so far

I've played some video games before, and watched a TON of playthroughs by now probably, and I've never experienced that bizarre out-of-reality texture that this game has. I don't really know how to explain what it is about it. I think part of it is the unexpected "logic" of the storyline perhaps. like Jack keeps pointing out how weird it is that the whole storyline is essentially just a delivery service. usually games are more "flavorful" in their story agenda. when you think about making a game, you'll try to make something action-worthy, dangerous, powerful. I find that so incredibly bizarre that truly, the whole game is about a guy who... delivers. that is such an unexpected decision by the maker, that it made something very different. I think that same principle of "different logic" kinda goes for many aspects of the gameplay and the storyline, that make it all just feel unknown. maybe just me tho, haha.

even after all this time I can come back here and just chill to this series I love this game, and I love seeing jack play this game. I play this game as well at least off and on and sometimes I'll just sit in the world and enjoy the sounds and sights its truly a wonderful game.

I love this game for one massive reason: It just drops your ass in it and says "have fun".
Like, yes there is exposition all over, you'd need to have that or the game would make absolutely -1000% sense (I mean it already makes 0 sense but still) but from the beginning of the game, you are just dropped in and are pretty much expected to either adapt or die. I love that.

Just tried playing this for my first time and found it was extremely far from my kind of game but the story really grabbed me, so im ready for the storytime now
I felt this way for God of War. I actually bought the first one the two new ones and tried to play it but struggled hard to even get past the first boss. I finally got frustrated and stopped playing and then returned to watch Jack play both so I could see the story. I am or... I was an mmo gamer and not too shabby, higher end of casual but these console games are just a different sort of pace and thrill. I think they even become harder when they are on the violent/scary end. I played all of Horizon Zero Dawn with zero issue but I think that plays more like an MMO. Jack is just a life saver for me and I get to experience things I've never even heard of

Looking back upon this game and everything about it two years following, I realize how much can change in two years, most specifically how one's individual may change over those 24 months. With a renewed appreciation, I reminisced upon all that happened over the tune of "Don't Be So Serious." I believe much can change in the span of less than a year, and this game represents change, in its finest essence.

The 'fingertips extending' are actually the hands moving forward. Same as when you walk through snow, your foot makes a footprint and as you raise it and move it forward it 'extends' the footprint a little bit. I think that's why it looks like the hands grow longer fingernails as they land, they're just raising their hands slightly and moving them forward, which leaves a fingernail-like imprint in the ground.

I wish so so much that jack had never seen THAT cutscene trailer (you know the one) before playing the game, and that it had been a completely blind moment. Would've been so awesome to see Jack's reaction to it, I was so sad when I realized that he'd seen it already. Just imagine the reaction we would have gotten from him to that....

I find it interesting how the creators picked "Strand" as the family name. "Strand" in hungarian is one of the words we use for "beach", specifically the kind of beach that people visit. I wonder if they were aware, or if this is just a really cool coincidance

This is the game that got me to love rain and terrain like that,huge mysterious events and monsters,the mysterious type of horror
In retrospect I wonder how this game could have been with genuine multi-player, like you're just out, walking through the mountains with some cargo and you run into a fellow Porter. They can help you climb up steep ledges or act as a repeller for you. I hope DS2 has something like that but I doubt it. Kojima isn't really known for his multi-player outings.

I like how jack likes to have the games played for us as how they are for him the music is awesome and I agree that yeah the music is apart of the experience
The little details are nice, when we thought the 2nd hand thingy creature left, Norman's shoulder was still ted and then a 3rd one arrived.
And as it crawled down the redness on Norman's shoulder travelled further to his hand.
