i love how everyone says things like "omg effy was so good at reading into people and figuring out dynamics so easily and immediately" like mate if I heard one twin yell at the other to hurry up and call her a waste of space I would probably gather they had an unequal relationship haha

These little moments of Effy spotting things and noticing underlying dynamics between people is really what drew me to her as a character. She was in the thick of it but also like a secret sideline spectator of life, both within and without and that's definitely how teenage me felt at the time of watching this show. Will always have a soft spot for Skins.
