Wdym, she was probably already interested in him when she saw the “3 Musketeers” during their 1st sighting in the opening to series 3. The only other person she might’ve not really been interested/fascinated in was probably JJ.

But this scene was when she realized she had to face her true feelings, so she went to the shed. This was all explained in the show.

@@not-a-ghost2206 Every glorified Cassie and Effy, and the overall aesthetic revolving around them was astounding, which is how they basically led the majority of the show's image. So many girls I knew growing up throughout middle and high school made me feel so sad that they were living such a life.
This scene always makes me realize how Effy stopped being into Cook because she knew she couldn’t control him. She knew she would never be able to manipulate him.

@@graceslows9669 Yeah, JJ was the only one who Effy couldn't manipulate because he wasn't really in love with her, he just liked her because she was 'so mysterious and hot' and he was aware of the damage that she made to their friendship. But it's diferent to Cook, they start their relationship as nothing serious and Effy only was with him to forget about Freddie but Cook falls in love with her. And eventhough he loves Freddie to death he leaves Effy manipulate him til the point he punches a strange and goes to jail for it. What makes him think and starts to do things better but he's still in love with her. And that's exactly what gives her the power of manipulate him.

Few reasons.....he's a good shag, he makes her laugh, he makes her feel good....but I think it's coz she enjoyed the secret and feeling like the "naughty girl" while also knowing she's taking some of the guy attention from Effy for a change instead of being the "boring plain" one.

Then I think everything thought that it was finished cos Thomas came back but we found out in JJ's episode that it was still going on. She was still sleeping with Cook even though Thomas was her boyfriend. It was why Thomas dumped her in Effy's episode cos he found out that she was having sex with another guy.

If this had been the ONLY time Pandora slept with cook I could forgive it because Thomas left and she thought he wasn’t coming back. She should have just told him right then and they could work it out. But she KEPT sleeping with cook even when Thomas came back 😡 and then had the nerve to be mad at Thomas for cheating on her [which isn’t okay] but she acted like she didn’t deserve it and he was a villain when all he did was love her.

It’s funny rewatching this in your late teens compared to early teens. How perspectives can change over a few years, it’s seriously crazy. If I can give one piece of advice I’d say: enjoy every single moment for what it is, even the bad times. Find bliss in the bad right, seriously, times change and so do people. I love you all❤️

I think Effy was a better friend to Pandora than Pandora was to Effy. Remember, in this episode, Effy found out that Panda's mum made sex tapes with the nosy neighbor next door. That line, "Why don't know anything about my mum?," hits harder because the audience knows that Pandora's mum is not the prude she pretends to be and the audience knows that Effy knows too. So when Panda asks Effy, "Why don't you know anything about my mum?," and Effy just stands there, biting her tongue, Effy is nonverbally saying to Panda, "I know more about you than you could ever know, but I keep it to myself in order to spare you the heartache of having your world shattered.

Just cause Effy knew about the sex tape but didn't ever cared about getting to know her mom or getting to know Pandora. When Pandora was obsessed with Effy and knew about her mom and all the mental Issues Effy was trough. I agree Effy was awful to Pandora but changed her mind after this episode I think Effy started respecting Panda.

It was fucked up, yes, but I loved Effy and Pandora’s relationship so much because it had so many realistic aspects to it that are so subtle that they’re seldom depicted in TV shows but Skins managed to do it. What a great show
as much as I like effy she was also a bad friend to panda, when she clearly only wanted to have a fun slumber party.
But do you remember how they became connected? Effy didn’t want friends, but Panda insisted in tagging along until Effy let her. After a while though, Effy did start to care about Panda even if she wasn’t good at showing it.
Effy's life is imploding with her parents divorcing, shouting, her Dad abandoning her - and all Pandora cares about is "are you still coming to my party?". She acts like losing her boyfriend of 5 minutes is somehow worse than Effy's home life falling apart. Pandora is a TERRIBLE friend & person, especially when you add the cheating into the mix - even after Thomas returns, she continues sneaking around behind his back. And she has the gall to get mad at Thomas & dump him when he does the same thing ONCE. And she sleeps with Cook, despite the fact that her best friend still has a thing with him. She is an all-round terrible, stupid, selfish, insufferable person, but everyone goes easy on her because she behaves ditzy & child-like. I hate her sooooo much.

Effy was so selfish and manipulative. She didnt even care about Cook and they weren't dating she just wanted him on her leash just like everyone else in her life. She did the same thing to Freddie really, she knew how he felt and slept with Cook just to toy with him. She thought she can do whatever she wants but everyone else cannot. Like when she was jealous Freddie dated Katie even though she didn't want to commit to him.

The entire point was that she was afraid to open up and love, since she thought love would make her weak and unable to handle her mental illness. She did that to Freddie because she realized how much she cared for him and wanted to ruin it by betraying him by sleeping with Cook. She loved Freddie and that’s why she was jealous but was still too scared to be with him. Doesn’t make it right but it makes sense, ya know?

Tommy was perhaps the best of gen 2 and to see him and Pandora end up together was just icing on top of the best seasons ever.

Hi there. Just got a recommendation for an old Skins casting video from 2012, which got me thinking. Has your channel ever considered doing some kind of Skins Locations video? Obviously it would be difficult to do with COVID restrictions. But I’m sure as this show is still so popular, someone organising a VLog/locations tour of some of the places would be cool? I lived in Bristol for 6 months with work, and one of the things I did whilst up there was watch Skins. Food for thought :). Have a good day

Though panda is a sweetheart. I really had mixed emotions here. W effy too. I felt bad for effy, had an anger with Panda but at the same time Cook isn't effys so he can do what he likes.
