Regardless of what critics say about this movie. There's no denying that Harrison Ford is a great actor and wonderful performer! Indiana Jones and the dial of destiny is the movie that completes the Indiana Jones series! Thank you Harrison Ford, for all of your years of entertainment! Bravo!
Harrison Ford is an actor that can play any character successfully. A government guy, an adventure guy, an innocent being hunted by the FBI guy, and even a traumatic brain injury that left him in a mental capacity of a child guy. He became whatever character he played. Tom Hanks is another one who has played the whole spectrum of different characters successfully. These are true actors. They have given us so much enjoyment! Keep it up!
Something mystical is moving down in Raiders of the Lost Ark, but you can't touch it. Up in the kingdom of the crystal skull and you can't touch it either. But in the dial of destiny we go through something mystical, though time. To explain the conclusion of the film series, one simply puts it in the words of Indiana Jones' opponent Dr. Rene Belloq. We're simply passing though history. This is history!
The first movie was great because they didn’t have that CGI and green screen garbage all movies use now. I will NOT be spending my money on this movie 👎🏼

Crystal wasn't ALL bad. It had its moments. But the franchise wasn't revered enough in that film. Like they exploited it because they just couldn't appreciate just how grand and monumental the first three were.

They find the dial, but the Nazi's steal it, so Indy and Fleabag go after the Nazis to save Hitler. They all go back to 212 BCE in WW2 Bombers because the dial only goes back to that specific point in time, from this specific time, for reasons. One bomber gets shot down by arrows and doesn't change the past. Indy also gets shot, says let me die in peace, I have nothing to live for. Fleabag says no, you'll change the past if you die here. Fleabag then performs some elder abuse, and Indy wakes up in NY back in 1969, depressed, suicidal, and alone. Then in walks Marion, and he's then depressed, suicidal, but no longer alone. The End.
I used to have a dog. He was a good dog & I loved him very much. He got old & couldn't even get up to go outside. He was in a lot of pain & I finally had to put him to sleep. It was very sad. When i think of him I like to think of when he was young & loved to play. That's the way i feel about this movie. I'm not going to watch it even when its on TV. I want to remember Indy the way he was.

Im honestly skeptical this movie will be any good because this is modern disney and there track record with other popular franchise doent fill me with much hope, im have been hoping the time travel and the replacing indy plot isnt real but with these past trailers, i honestly wouldnt be suprise considering kathleen kennedy involed in the movie

A stacked cast, Nazis as the central villains again with Mads Mikkelsen leading them, James Mangold as director, George Lucas isn’t the writer, but him and Steven Spielberg still on board as executive producers. It’s also an odd numbered film and those were the best Indy movies (Raiders and Last Crusade). Yeah I’d say it has all the ingredients for success.
I am happier to see old Ford in this roll than something like De Niro has been doing (grandpa stuff overload). They owe us with this after the ridiculous skull-shit.

The last one had its moments, but it was too Disneyfied. This one seems Disneyfied too, but as if they learned some lessons. Definitely looking forward to it.
If the rumors are true there have been massive reshoots. Indy was to go back in time and young Indy was gonna give his life to save the girl. She would then be Indiana Jones as if the real one never existed. That was Kenndy's plan. Remains to be seen if they changed that ending.

Disney can't write a good script nowadays. The company culture isn't anything like that of 1980's Paramount. Disney's approach of "Factory Filmmaking": running all creative decisions through a panel of bureaucratic decision makers...endless DEI checkboxes...it's a recipe for a bland movie that's neither bad nor good, and you forget what you watched 5 minutes after leaving the cinema. And even if you disagree, tell me: what has Disney LucasFilm done in the last 10 years to give you ANY hope that despite the litany of trash content they've produced, THIS will be good???

the bar was set so low with the Crystal Skull but this genuinly looks and feels like a Loving Send off for Indy and no we don't want a spin off series, Prequel film or a reboot Indiana Jones will and always will be Harrison Ford.
I'm hoping this is gonna be the "get back on track" after the Crystal Skull and it's oversaturation of CGI. Although already its using the same ol'/tiring cliche of family pulling him back into the fedora/whipping fold. Crusade was his Dad, Skull was his son & Marion Ravenwood (and why are they all of a sudden gone/not relavent since the 4th installment?...oh, right! ) and NOW it's his God daughter. I enjoy Mangold and his films and it will be interesting to see his take after Speilberg's 40 yr grip upon the franchise. Now, normally in this sit, some fresh perspective may just be what this final curtain call needs to end this legendary tale & to keep EXACTLY as that! BUT ..then again, how could anyone forget... Indy and Marion got married in the 4th and he is wearing a wedding ring. Since Karen Allen is listed in the cast I'm guessing Marion meets Indy at the end of the movie. It doesn't seem like she's along for the ride in this one, which is disappointing.
Well I'm boycotting the whole film. I live in the NE of England and last summer Ford was here filming. A group of fans asked for autographs and he told them to F*** off. He is a nasty person. These big film stars should remember it's the fans would keep them in work. He then flew to London and after his "advisers" spoke with him was shown laughing and getting his photo taken with fans. He needs to issue an apology.

The last one had its moments, but it was too Disneyfied. This one seems Disneyfied too, but as if they learned some lessons. Definitely looking forward to it.
If the rumors are true there have been massive reshoots. Indy was to go back in time and young Indy was gonna give his life to save the girl.
She would then be Indiana Jones as if the real one never existed.
That was Kenndy's plan.
Remains to be seen if they changed that ending.

In my opinion the best action hero of all time. Raiders set the benchmark, this will set it higher, Harrison Ford is a legend why he hasn’t received an Oscar is beyond me.

Disney can't write a good script nowadays. The company culture isn't anything like that of 1980's Paramount. Disney's approach of "Factory Filmmaking": running all creative decisions through a panel of bureaucratic decision makers...endless DEI checkboxes...it's a recipe for a bland movie that's neither bad nor good, and you forget what you watched 5 minutes after leaving the cinema. And even if you disagree, tell me: what has Disney LucasFilm done in the last 10 years to give you ANY hope that despite the litany of trash content they've produced, THIS will be good???

the bar was set so low with the Crystal Skull but this genuinly looks and feels like a Loving Send off for Indy and no we don't want a spin off series, Prequel film or a reboot Indiana Jones will and always will be Harrison Ford.

NO - LIKED FIRST, HATED 2ND, LIKED W/JAMES BOND.
I'm hoping this is gonna be the "get back on track" after the Crystal Skull and it's oversaturation of CGI.
Although already its using the same ol'/tiring cliche of family pulling him back into the fedora/whipping fold. Crusade was his Dad, Skull was his son & Marion Ravenwood (and why are they all of a sudden gone/not relavent since the 4th installment?...oh, right! ) and NOW it's his God daughter.
I enjoy Mangold and his films and it will be interesting to see his take after Speilberg's 40 yr grip upon the franchise. Now, normally in this sit, some fresh perspective may just be what this final curtain call needs to end this legendary tale & to keep EXACTLY as that!
BUT ..then again, how could anyone forget...
None of that matters (or anything else) when Disney is at the helm!🤬😫😞😭🤬
Indy and Marion got married in the 4th and he is wearing a wedding ring.
Since Karen Allen is listed in the cast I'm guessing Marion meets Indy at the end of the movie. It doesn't seem like she's along for the ride in this one, which is disappointing.
Spoiler alert: The female character convinces Indy to give up archeology and pursue a career in genders studies.

Well I'm boycotting the whole film. I live in the NE of England and last summer Ford was here filming. A group of fans asked for autographs and he told them to F*** off. He is a nasty person. These big film stars should remember it's the fans would keep them in work. He then flew to London and after his "advisers" spoke with him was shown laughing and getting his photo taken with fans. He needs to issue an apology.
This is going to send the greatest movie adventurer of all time out with a bang! This is the ending that we have been waiting for! I can’t wait to dress up and go out and see this!
